The South Tower offers an adult-only swimming pool with a hot tub, cabanas, fire pits and a bar. The North Tower offers a family pool for guests with children. Numerous shops, a 34-lane bowling alley, a movie theater featuring 3D films, and 2 nightclubs are available at Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort & Casino. The casino has closed and you can no longer go inside, but the building still stands.

News reports this week say that the Colorado Belle is closed indefinitely.

Thanks for the update! Still a worthwhile roadside attraction -- until demolished or otherwise scuttled, it's the only building in Nevada shaped like a 19th century paddle-wheel riverboat.

One of the swimming pools at the Colorado Belle is shaped like the state of NV. This is a really neat hotel that is also an old time paddle boat with two other towers.

March 2010: Mobile Tipster "Pat" reported: "the staff at the Co Belle has never heard of this," and our satellite view perusal doesn't reveal an outdoor NV-shaped pool. Past renovaton casualty? Safely hidden for high-rollers?
