Superyacht Pherousa is a 67.37 m (220') Nereids Yachts vessel with a launch in 2011. Naval architects for the motoryacht Pherousa is the Soyaslan Design office and her styling is done by Design Investment Sàrl.

Yacht Pherousa is built to the Bureau Veritas Hull and Machinery Ice Class ID with an MCA Large Yacht Code 2. Her hull is constructed from steel, however her superstructure is a combination of steel and composite material, with teak laid decks. Pherousa's interior cabinetry and joinery are by Berline.

Accommodation aboard of this luxury superyacht Pherousa includes one Owner's stateroom with en-suite bathroom, study and dressing room. Furthermore she has one VIP cabin with en-suite bathroom and dressing room, four guests cabins with en-suite bathroom (two double and two twin guest cabins). This arrangement makes Pherousa yacht a perfect privately owned yacht or suitable as a luxury charter yacht.

Her crew is accommodated in one Captain's cabin and nine crew cabins.

Pherousa Specifications

Two 3512 C Intermittent Duty Caterpillar engines of 2540 Hp at 1800 rpm power the super yacht Pherousa to a maximum speed of 16 knots (approx.), her cruising speed is 13 knots and economical speed is at approximately 10 knots. Her range at 13 knots is 8,300 nautical miles.

Pherousa yacht's amenities include a Endless Spa Pool pool on the sun-deck, Ceiling Cranes in each garage on port and Starboard aside. She has one 6.15 metre Chris Craft Speedster tender, a crew tender, space for two tenders up to 2.5 tons weight on foredeck, with the ability to stow one tender on the port garage. Pherousa motoryacht offers space for wave runners, and other toys on foredeck and port garage.

New build superyacht Pherousa offered by Ardell and Ocean Independence

Talking to Bjorn Vang-Mathisen at Ocean Independence in Geneva, I discover more about his new joint central listing - with Craig Cadwalader at Ardell - the 67.35m luxury motor yacht  Pherousa , currently under construction at Turkey's Nereids Yachts yard.

The superyacht's crew quarters are now complete and the main engines, generators and technical installations are aboard. Bjorn stresses that this is not an abandoned client project but says:

"So much has been produced from the builder's side already that Pherousa  can be finished within 15-18 months of signing a contract, due to partial fabrication, technical installation and good planning, but still giving a buyer full freedom to customise the guest accommodation design."

The yacht's price isn't listed, but Bjorn says that Pherousa 's very competitively priced.

Investigation found that Clarence Thomas took free yacht, helicopter trips in Russia: Democrats

A Senate Judiciary Committee investigation found that conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas failed to disclose at least 35 luxury gifts, including a free yacht trip to Russia and a private helicopter to a palace in St. Petersburg, Vladimir Putin's hometown, Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., and Ron Wyden, D-Or., said  in a letter  to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The letter raised the "serious possibility of tax fraud" and accused Thomas of having "secretly accepted gifts and income potentially worth millions of dollars," mostly from billionaire real estate developer Harlan Crow, who Thomas once described as being among his "dearest friends." Buried in appendix list on page 14 are the references to the Russia trips, which took place in 2003. Other gifts from Crow include "multiple instances of free private jet travel, yacht travel, and lodging," "gifts of tuition for Justice Thomas's grandnephew," "real estate transactions," "home renovations," and "free rent for Justice Thomas's mother."

“The Senate is not a prosecutorial body, and the Supreme Court has no fact-finding function of its own, making the executive role all the more important if there is ever to be any complete determination of the facts,” the letter reads.

After a bombshell ProPublica report last year that revealed the extent of Thomas' financial ties with Crow and attempts to hide it, Thomas admitted to taking three trips on a private plane owned by Crow, but did not disclose any of the other gifts.

The senators are asking Garland to launch a special counsel investigation into Thomas, with the evidence collected so far "plainly suggest[ing] that Justice Thomas has committed numerous willful violations of federal ethics and false-statement laws and raises significant questions about whether he and his wealthy benefactors have complied with their federal tax obligations."

In a separate move on Wednesday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and a group of fellow progressives filed articles of impeachment against Thomas and Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito for failing to disclose "millions of dollars in gifts from individuals with business before the court."

Gogoro, the Taiwanese electric scooter manufacturer and battery-swapping giant, said its CEO and chairman Horace Luke has stepped down amid subsidy fraud allegations, according to a regulatory filing. Gogoro allegedly used Chinese parts for e-scooters to reduce manufacturing costs, despite reporting that it used locally made parts to qualify for government subsidies. In a filing, Gogoro said internal investigations identified “certain irregularities” in the supply chain that caused it to “inadvertently incorporate certain imported components in some of its vehicles.”
