Motor yacht SEA LA VIE measures 21.10m (69' 3") and was built in 2006 by Azimut shipyard in Italy. She was refitted in 2021 and offers welcoming accommodation for up to 8 charter guests sleeping in 4 cabins. She has an attentive crew of 3.

The main deck aft has a sofa, table and movable chairs for alfresco dining at any time of the day. A gangplank is aft to starboard, and the swim platform below provides access to the tender and water toys. Side walkways around the main deck lead to a broad sunbed where guests have uninterrupted views of the anchorage.

Up on the flybridge, the tender is stored along the stern to be launched and retrieved using the Davit crane. A C-shaped sofa and circular table create a place for drinks and dining, with a sofa/sunbed amidships to port and another sofa to starboard.

The lower deck layout places the guest accommodation forward followed by the engine room and then the crew accommodation in the stern.

SEA LA VIE Specifications

On the main deck, the helm controls are forward to port with a stairway down to the guest accommodation to starboard. A corner sofa and raised table are placed to port, creating a cosy dining space, while the galley and bar is to starboard. A set of stairs leads down to the salon, which has a curving sofa and coffee table beneath the port window, and a sofa and widescreen TV to starboard.

Twin MAN V12 engines each producing 1,360 HP give a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

While there is room on board for up to 13 guests while cruising, the overnight accommodation sleeps a maximum of 8 guests over 4 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 1 twin cabin and 1 bunk cabin. The Master suite is amidships on the lower deck and is furnished with a king-sized bed, widescreen TV, two seats and a side table to port and a desk/vanity to starboard. The aft en-suite bathroom has two sinks, a toilet, bidet and bathtub with shower. The VIP stateroom is in the bow and has a double bed, widescreen TV, storage and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. The twin cabin is to port between the Master suite and VIP stateroom and has two single beds, a widescreen TV, storage and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. The bunk cabin is to starboard of the twin cabin and has two single beds, a widescreen TV, storage and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. The professional crew of 2 will provide fast and discreet service throughout the cruise.

She was constructed by the ship builder Azimut in 2006. A comprehensive refit was delivered in 2021. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 cozy cabins and easily accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.

SEA LA VIE is classified as a superyacht. The generously sized aft deck elegantly connects to the meticulously composed main saloon. The main saloon is a friendly space with an abundance of seating areas and enables a number of media entertainment options. 4 elegant cabins are thoughtfully spread out with vison for maximum room, access, comfort and privacy.

I have been navigating the US waters for nearly 15 years beginning in San Francisco bay where I purchased my first vessel, a 24 foot Bayliner, “The Marmallee I” named after my late sister Marmallee. I quickly outgrew this and acquired a 34 foot Rinker which I named The Marmallee II since I didn’t even have my first vessel for a year!

In addition to myself, all charters are Captained by a licensed USCG Captain and navigate completely under USCG regulations. We keep all required safety gear and then some on board including GPS tracking, Satellite SOS emergency transponders, life vests, first aid supplies, life raft for 8, additional inflatable rafts, night vision camera, XM satellite weather and more, above and beyond what is required to ensure a safe and memorable charter.  I am delighted to add this new custom upgraded 2022 Jenneau 1095 NC Fly to my yachting portfolio. The Dufour 412 Grande Large may be one of the best laid out boats of its size and type.   From bow to stern and below, the boat’s features and function make both sailing and social time aboard a pleasure.   

Some of the great features that Dufour incorporated into the 412’s design includes a full stern galley, comfortable and safe twin helm stations, nice sized cockpit table, cockpit seats that convert to twin sized day beds (who doesn’t dream of sleeping in the cockpit), full cabin width traveler for better sail control, reduced height gooseneck for easy main sail access and storage, large anchor locker, and bow sprit.  Below decks the design includes an easy to access large and low pullman style master, a compression post forward to open up salon, large skylight to bring in the sun, starboard settee that converts to twin seats with a table or 6’+ single, spacious U shaped dinette, very large walk in shower with wrap around teak seating, highly functional galley with lots of storage and refrigeration, spacious aft cabin.

La Vie Charmante has led a charmed life. She is a nicely equipped 2 cabin version that was thoughtfully optioned at the start and has been professionally managed since new.  Her owners have maintained her with an open checkbook and it shows.  Her use has been very light and primarily limited to day sailing and life at the dock in and around Annapolis.
