Blending Belle Époque style with on board comfort, thanks to modern amenities such as air conditioning, WiFi and other modern touches, Elena does it all her own unique style.

Elena accommodates up to eight guests in four ensuite cabins: two doubles and two twins. Additionally there is an optional fifth cabin which can accommodate a further two guests if required. The master cabin features an office-sized desk and seating for two while the three guest cabins all boast excellent storage space and privately controlled air conditioning systems.

Elena is a custom sailing yacht launched in 2009 by Factoria Naval Marin , in Spain.

Factoria Naval Marin was founded at the end of 2006. The shipyard, which employs more than 500 people, is able to build ships of up to 150 metres length and 21m beam. In addition to its two traditional slips, a third slip has been especially designed to work in a dry dock mode by means of a lock.

Elena measures 55.00 feet in length, with a max draft of 5.20 feet and a beam of 8.14 feet.

Elena has a steel hull with a steel superstructure.

Elena also features naval architecture by Acubens.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2009, Elena offers guest accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising a master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins. There are 6 beds in total, including 2 doubles and 4 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, particularly Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Elena is built with a steel hull and steel superstructure. Powered by 1 x MAN engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 13 knots with a range of up to 3,455 nautical miles from her 12,500 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots.

Equipped with a selection of water-toys Elena lets you and your guests turn the Mediterranean into your own private playground. Principle among these are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Extreme sports fans will appreciate the included Kite Surfers. Additionally, there are wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Elena also features kayaks, fishing equipment and snorkelling equipment. Elena has a 4.5m/14'9" Valiant Outboard to transfer you from ship to shore.

Elena and her crew are available for charter this summer for cruising within the Mediterranean. She is also accepting bookings this winter on request.

Elena of London is a stunning replica of a classic racing schooner. Built in 2009 by Factoria Naval Marin, this sailing yacht is a masterpiece of traditional craftsmanship and modern engineering. The original Elena was designed in 1910 by the legendary naval architect “the wizzard of Bristal,” Nathaniel Herreshoff for a wealthy American businessman named Morton F. Plant. €3M price drop on FNM schooner Elena

A €3,005,000 price drop has been announced on the 55-metre schooner Elena, listed for sale by Ben Bartlett at Y.CO .

Constructed in aluminium by Italian yard Factoria Naval de Marin , Elena was based on original 1910 drawings by designer Nathanael G. Herreshoff and was delivered in 2009.

The yacht is a replica of the racing schooner of the same name that took part in the 1928 King’s Cup trans-atlantic race. During the competition, the original Elena sailed from New York to Santander in record-breaking time.

This sailing yacht for sale boasts accommodation for up to eight guests in four staterooms, with a captain’s cabin that can be used as an additional cabin for two more guests. The large master cabin sports a desk and comfortable seating, while the remaining cabins all have private controlled air conditioning and ample storage space.

Elena sports an interior, by Steve McLaren, reminiscent of a period country home, while maintaining modern comforts including Wi-Fi and televisions. Her traditional main saloon hosts twin sofas and homely bookshelves, with natural light flowing through numerous portholes.

Moving outside, the yacht’s expansive deck space is perfect for socialising both fore and aft and al fresco dining opportunities amidships. In 2012, she was fitted with a new boom, sail plan and bowsprit based on the original 1910 sail plan.

Under power, the yacht for sale has a top speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots. The broker said: "Fresh from a shipyard period, Elena is ready to go ahead of this summer’s regatta season and, at her new price, is an undeniably unique opportunity. The yacht also has proven success as a charter operation with many very high-profile, repeat charter clients on both sides of the Atlantic."

Elena is lying in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and now asking €8,995,000.

The British-flagged vessel named Bayesian was carrying 12 passengers and 10 members of crew when it got into difficulty in the early hours of Monday. Seven bodies have now been recovered. The other 15 people on board were rescued. Here's what we know about those who were on the yacht. Raised in Ilford, east London by Irish parents, the 59-year-old made millions with the software company Autonomy he set up in 1996. He had an estimated net worth of £852m, according to the 2023 Sunday Times Rich List, and is believed to have owned the yacht. Off the back of Automomy's global success, Mr Lynch was given the roles of science adviser to former prime minister David Cameron and non-executive director of the BBC. The Cambridge maths and sciences graduate sold the firm for £8.64bn to US giant Hewlett Packard (HP) in 2011. Dubbed the "British Bill Gates", Mr Lynch has been in the headlines in recent months over a high-profile fraud case related to the sale of Autonomy to HP in 2011. A body believed to be that of the teenager was recovered on Friday from the yacht wreckage. She had been on holiday with her parents, having secured a place to study English at the University of Oxford, according to reports. Her former school, Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, west London, said they were "incredibly shocked by the news that Hannah and her father are among those missing in this tragic accident" when the yacht first sank. Angela Bacares Mr Lynch's wife Angela Bacares was on board the yacht and was rescued. The 57-year-old said she and Mr Lynch were awoken by the boat "tilting" at 4am - half an hour before it sank. Jonathan Bloomer Jonathan Bloomer, the chairman of investment bank Morgan Stanley International, was confirmed dead on Thursday. According to the Financial Times, Mr Bloomer appeared as a defence witness for Mr Lynch during his US criminal trial and the pair were good friends. He also chaired Autonomy's audit committee. The 70-year-old was the chief executive of UK-Hong Kong insurer Prudential until he was ousted by the board in 2005. He was also chairman of the insurance provider Hiscox. Judy Bloomer Mr Bloomer's wife Judy was on the yacht trip with her husband. Divers confirmed they found her body on Thursday. Mrs Bloomer was a former board member at The Eve Appeal charity, which focuses on gynaecological cancers. He was Canadian-Antiguan and part of the crew of the Bayesian. His body was the first to be recovered from the wreckage. Chris Morvillo US lawyer Chris Morvillo was among those divers found dead on Thursday. The father-of-two worked on Mr Lynch's US fraud trial and was a partner of law firm Clifford Chance's US branch. Mr Morvillo was assistant attorney for the Southern District of New York between 1995 and 2005 and worked on the terrorist investigation into the 9/11 attacks. In a recent LinkedIn post, he thanked the legal team that helped win Mr Lynch's trial. She is originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, but lives in London, her father told local media there. He said she was left "very shaken" but "she and her partner are alive". Charlotte Golunski Charlotte Golunski was on board the yacht and was rescued along with her one-year-old daughter, Sofia. She spoke to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, confirming she survived the yacht sinking and told how she kept her daughter alive after she was rescued. "I held her afloat with all my strength, my arms stretched upwards to keep her from drowning," she said. "It was all dark. In the water I couldn't keep my eyes open. Mr Cutfield, from New Zealand, was taken for treatment at the Termini Imerese emergency unit, where he told the newspaper: "We didn't see it coming." Leah Randall Leah Randall was part of the Bayesian crew and survived the sinking. She was pictured going ashore in Porticello on Monday morning and is from South Africa. Her mother Heidi told Sky News said she was "beyond relieved that my daughter's life was spared by the grace of God".
