Lil Yachty Broke Down Why Friend And Frequent Collaborator Drake Is ‘Really, Really Smart’

Lexi Lane

Lil Yachty opened up about his close bond with Drake during a new conversation with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, where he also touched on his new album, Let’s Start Here . The two rappers have collaborated even more in recent years, as Yachty had writing credits on Drake and 21 Savage’s 2022 album Her Loss , for “Jumbotron Sh*t Poppin,” “Privileged Rappers,” and more tracks.

“I love him to death,” Yachty said of Drake. “Yeah, that’s my guy, man… our relationship has just grown. I had a conversation with him after, and I was just telling him, ‘Man, this music that you made over this time period has affected so many people.'”

Yachty also revealed that any time Drake drops, he has trouble controlling his feels. So much so, that he shared a joke about how Drake’s music makes people call their exes during a conversation they had.

“I said, ‘Man, I remember there was a point in time when you were about to release music, and everyone was like, ‘Man, I’m about to call my ex. Like, oh man, I’m finna cry,”” he said. “That was a time period. And that’s when people thought when Drake was finna drop, you thought like, ‘Oh man, I’m about to get back with my ex-girlfriend.’ You felt like emotions were about to be pulled out of you.”

“At this point, I feel so close to him,” Yachty added. “I feel like whatever he does, I did it. If he wins something, I feel like I just won. He’s really, really smart. No matter how much he’ll act like he’s oblivious to his career and the things that he’s done, he knows what certain things and certain moments in his career mean to people.”

Drake Talks Plans for a "Graceful Exit" From the Music Industry

“i’m not going to force myself to compete.”.

After releasing his critically acclaimed Let’s Start Here album , Lil Yachty has now turned his attention to his sunglasses brand, FUTUREMOOD . Promoting his emerging imprint, Lil Yachty launched FUTUREMOOD ‘s “A Moody Conversation” by tapping Drake for a candid interview.

During the chat, the two artists went back and forth in the engaging conversation but an interesting moment came when Drake shared that he’s been mulling “a graceful exit.” At the 5:50 mark, the Canadian artist begins to discuss the idea after being asked about what there is “to even search for or want” anymore. “Well, I think like on a broader scale, I think I’m at the point now where I just wanna, like—I feel like maybe we talked about this the other day—but I feel like I’m kind of introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit, said Drake.”

Lil Yachty Reveals How He Formed His Tight Bond With Drake

By Tony M. Centeno

February 23, 2023

Drake and Lil Yachty

Lil Yachty's friendship with Drake has benefitted both artists in more ways than one. After contributing beats to Her Loss last year, Yachty is sharing exactly how he got so close with the 6 God. During his debut appearance on the Rap Radar Podcast , which dropped on Thursday, February 23, hosts Elliott Wilson and Brian "B. Dot" Miller kick off the conversation by discussing the reception to Yachty's latest album Let's Start Here . Yachty said he appreciated the praise but feels there's more to be done. He also explained why he felt like he wasn't respected as an artist or a rapper.

“I did things when was trying to prove myself as a rapper, and I’m past that… now I’m trying to prove myself as an artist.” @lilyachty clarifies his comments of being taken “seriously as an artist” in a new @RapRadar interview. #OGM pic.twitter.com/ELdxpv6g4g — Our Generation Music (@OGMusicCo) February 23, 2023

"I do more than rap," Yachty said. "For a long time in my career, I wanted to be taken seriously as a rapper and I said that. So I would go try and do radio interviews or freestyles or whatever because I did Michigan Boy Boat and I did things to prove that I was a rapper, and I'm passed that. Now I'm proving that I'm an artist... I never wrote off being a rapper as not like being taken serious or not being as big as other genres/musicians or any of that. I just specifically myself, not speaking or nobody else or genre, want to be taken seriously as an artist." Later on the conversation, Yachty also mentioned that he tried to get other artists like The Weeknd and Kid Cudi to contribute to the album, but ultimately settled for his friends like Justine Skye and Daniel Caesar . After B. Dot brought up his best friend Drake, Wilson asked Yachty about how he got involved with Drizzy and 21 Savage's Her Loss LP. Yachty produced songs like “Major Distribution,” “Privileged Rappers,” “Circo Loco" and “Jumbrotron S**t Poppin." “I, for a very long time, wanted to do anything involving music with [Drake],” Yachty said. “So I’ve been telling him for the last, like, I don’t know how many years, like, ‘Bro...can I even just be in the room? I just wanna soak it up and see how you do it. I wanna see you rap, I wanna anything, you know?’ For real. I just feel like he’s -- to my opinion -- the greatest rapper ever. And that’s my personal opinion. I ain’t arguing with nobody or their mama.” Watch the newest episode of the Rap Radar Podcast via Interval Presents below.

After Drake and Lil Yachty, Rap Show ‘On The Radar’ Plans to Keep the Hits Coming

By Mankaprr Conteh

Mankaprr Conteh

This summer, hip-hop channel On The Radar was on everyone’s radar as it rose to become one of the internet’s finest purveyors of freestyle videos and interviews, reaching a new high with a Drake appearance featuring buzzing U.K. rap star Central Cee . Both traded bars at the show’s New York studio, shrouded in its signature green-means-go lights. Beyond producing the best music meme of the season (Drake slurring “combination” in one of his infamous accents during the song’s intro) it also produced one of the hottest rap songs of the summer. The internet moves quickly, though — in another life, the song would still be ringing off everywhere, but even On The Radar has kept it moving. Lil Yachty teased his own freestyle days ago and it arrived on October 6, meaning OTR snagged yet another hitmaker having a career-redefining moment, with Yachty still shapeshifting after a decade as one of rap’s most enthralling weirdos.

Editor’s picks

Every awful thing trump has promised to do in a second term, the 250 greatest guitarists of all time, the 500 greatest albums of all time, inside sammy davis jr.'s secret satanic past .

So it started off with us just going into our back catalog of freestyles, seeing who produced some of these records that were our friends, so we could easily get them to sign off on it. And then of course, the artists who we’re friends with that would easily sign off on it. The goal for the year was to drop 300 records on streaming. And we’ve done about maybe, I think I counted the other day, it’s around 125 to 130, but we’ve done a pretty good job of that so far. We’ve also used that opportunity to build and grow into live EPs, which we started off with our friend wolfacejoeyy , who’s blown up off our platform twice. So we did a whole live EP with him. My dad used to have the Nirvana MTV Unplugged Live DVD that we used to watch all the time. So it brought me back to that.

Vic spencer’s sean price tribute album will make you 'punch a school bus' , yung miami breaks silence on her relationship with sean combs: 'that wasn't my experience'.

So the goal is not necessarily to sign artists to contracts for projects, but t o do singles, EPs, stuff like that? Gabe: We do want to eventually sign artists down the line and then Tobby will one day move into more of a management position for artists. But right now we don’t have the necessary funds that we need to make that happen where it makes sense to sign artists. So until then, it’s just like, let’s just put out dope music and just let that ride and see what happens. The most music we ever dropped on a Friday was 14 singles.

John Nurse: The thing is we distribute through ourselves. So a lot of people been on our line stuff as far as distribution, like [proposing a joint venture with a major label] so we’re trying to look for the right situation, but right now we’re going to do it all ourselves.

What would doing everything you’ve set out to do look like? Gabe P: There’s no angle. It’s just like what’s next? Because if I set an angle for myself, then I’m limiting myself. You know what I’m saying? Drake was just a stepping stone. You could ask [Tobbylola and John], a week after the Drake thing went up, they’re like, “so are you feeling it?” And I’m like, “cool.” Oh, it’s number one on RapCaviar . I’m like, okay, that’s cool. We got shit to do.

With the Drake freestyle on DSPs, did your labels put that out together? John: No. You don’t really tell Drake how to move, but there was good collaborative effort. We worked with the label to get it out there. We had some terms and demands. They told us what they could do and we met in the middle.

Tobbylola, tell me about your path. Tobbylola: I was working in media since I graduated from high school. I was writing for my school’s newspaper. Then when I went onto college, I had the opportunity to start interning at Hot 97. Then at a point I started writing for The Source and then for Lyrical Lemonade. One day I started doing press runs to assist artists. I was working with Boston Richie at the time, and I wanted to bring him to Gabe’s platform. So I had hit up my friend Shauna James from Atlantic Records, and I was like, “Hey, can you connect me with him?” And she did. And I brought Richie over to him and I was like, “I see your set-up here. It is cool. I feel like I could bring some structure.” I felt like I got artists from writing for Lyrical, so I could probably bring them over there. And I was like, “let’s just cook up.” One day Gabe just called me and was like, “Hey, I got my studio now. So you said you want to help me with scheduling, let’s just try for a week.” And then we just tried for a week and then to now they’re obsessed. They haven’t let me go since. But really we just created a family. I just saw there was stuff that was missing there. And then I tried to just be that person to just come on board and really just connect the dots where it made sense

John: A few people have asked me, “You don’t want to go back to the majors?” I’m like, yeah, no, because over there you have to do so much just to get recognized and just to move up, as opposed to now I’m at the head of an independent level and doing bigger things than I would’ve had responsibility for over there.

They’re very steeped in their tradition. It’s like, media publications are like that too, right? John: Especially radio. I used to work in promotions. A lot of people that were there when I was there in 2013, ’14, they’re all still there now. And respectfully, it’s great to hold a job. I ain’t trying to take nobody out. But also there’s got to be some type of balance where you got a lot of young people and the old people to coincide.

Tobbylola: I think that’s what makes On The Radar so different is because really this is a team that was like, we’re all just coming together now, just trying to make things make sense. It’s really not no old head who’s on top of us [saying] “Do this, do this.” The old head really is Gabe.

Gabe P: The old head really is John.

Tobbylola: No, you know I didn’t want to say that. But if you saying whose brand, who calls the shots, obviously it’s Gabe’s brand.

Gabe P: And there’s no one who’s been this young who’s had this much impact on the culture in such a short period of time. You know what I’m saying? I’m not knocking anybody, but I’m saying that there hasn’t been someone who maybe since Angie Martinez or early days of Stretch and Bobbito — they was in college really when they were putting on with Wu-Tang and Biggie and all them, they were the youngest. But since that era of radio, Angie and Flex, no one this young has had this much of an impact on the culture in this type of period of time. And who has given you Drake, Ice Spice, all on the same platform all while maintaining…yeah, Drake was on the platform, but we’re someone dropping today on the platform who has 4,000 followers on the ‘Gram. Nobody does that. Nobody thinks to do that.

Gabe: I found [Bronx drill rapper] Kay Flock, I did Kay Flock’s first interview. I found B Lovee and Dougie B, I did their first and only interview where all three of them are together. That was the start of everything. DThang , I brought people DThang, I brought people Ice Spice.

John: Literally broke Ice Spice.

Gabe: Literally broke Ice Spice, you know what I’m saying? I did GloRilla’s first-ever New York City interview, you know what I’m saying? So there’s a lot of things that we’ve done that have just paved the way for a lot of other things.

Tobbylola: And then we’re super humble on top of that. It’s so many platforms. For me, I personally feel like we have a team that’s so grateful.

I think y’all are interesting because there are performances, but then there are also interviews. What is the relationship between the two? Being a media platform that does journalistic work and performance work? Gabe P: I mean, I came up under Angie Martinez and I feel like, I don’t really need to say more than that. I feel like hip-hop media right now is everybody wants clicks. Gabe:

Trump Says We ‘Gotta’ Restrict the First Amendment

Environmental group wants answers about rfk jr. chainsawing a whale’s head off, trump campaign asserts right to use foo fighters' 'my hero' at rally, x hate speech is so common that celebs like john cena follow white nationalists.

John: And a lot of that also comes from the niche that we have at On The Radio. You catch somebody young and early, you build that relationship through time and trust through time. So they know what they getting into when they come to you. Like, oh no, that’s my mans, he wouldn’t do that to me . And that’s a fact. He wouldn’t do that to you.

Tobbylola: And let Drake’s previous press run in New York be a testimony that these artists, they want to hit these newer platforms. What y’all need to understand is the music industry is changing. The platforms that are catering to the artists are changing as well. And it’s your best bet to probably adapt to how this industry is changing, rather than hating on the new platforms that are creating their own thing.

Fans Think Lil Yachty Unfollowed Drake Amid Drama Over Leaked Collaboration

Lil Yachty and Drake have been good friends for a long time, but fans believe a discrepancy over a song may have sparked a rift between both artists.

It all began earlier this week when Akademiks told his followers that Drake plans to release the song "S.O.D (Super Soak)." The media personality also claimed Drizzy will drop a music video for the track and reportedly played a clip of the visuals during his live stream. According to Ak, the song will arrive with one major update — Lil Boat won't be on it. Fans believe the news upset Yachty enough to unfollow The Boy on Instagram.

The alleged update shocked fans as well. Lil Yachty reportedly brought the song to Drake and intended to put it on the Concrete Boys' recent album. Their collaboration contains a sample of "Goodness Gracious" by Mr. HotSpot, who unfortunately prevented them from releasing it due to the explicit language in the song. Mr. HotSpot eventually told the duo they could use his song if they cleaned up their verses.

Before the sample was cleared, Yachty decided to leak the song to streamer Kai Cenat. At first, Soulja Boy thought it was Drake's way of responding to his X rant about him , but he cleared things up with Drizzy and claimed it wasn't supposed to drop at all.

Fans realized Yachty unfollowed Drake after news about the updated song went viral. It's not clear if he'll address the situation online. Yachty recently claimed he was done with social media after he confirmed Karrahbooo's departure from Concrete Boys . After fans called him out, Yachty returned to Instagram to re-follow Drake, and this time it was no accident. Check out the receipts below.

Fans Think Lil Yachty Unfollowed Drake Amid Drama Over Leaked Collaboration

Lil Yachty and Drake

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s high-profile exchange might have cooled off since the “Not Like Us” video dropped, but it’s still a hot topic among Hip Hop fans and the pair’s frequent collaborators. On Wednesday (July 31), Lil Yachty appeared on Andrew Schulz’s “Flagrant” podcast, during which he was asked about the beef.

“I think people are just hating on Drake because he’s the guy,” the Teenage Emotions rapper said. He then referenced a now-archived episode of the “A Safe Place” podcast in which he gave his detailed thoughts on being named-dropped in Lamar’s “euphoria.”

“I wish I had never [spoken] on it. I wish I hadn’t said any part about it,” Lil Yachty told the hosts. Regarding the incident where he liked a tweet about Lamar allegedly cheating on his wife, the musician claimed, “That really was an accident.”

Schulz circled back to the topic later in the discussion, noting that Drake’s music still dominates at parties and clubs. the Georgia native responded, “Outside of the people who care about Hip Hop, [nobody gives a f**k] at all.”

Lil Yachty also commented on the OVO Sound founder’s attitude during the spat: “He really didn’t give a f**k. He was unfazed . I respect it a lot and I talked to him. That s**t didn’t bother him.” He continued, “I never saw him down ever. I never saw kicking his f**king foot [or] holding his head down. [It got] to a point where I just stopped talking to him about it because I felt like I was the one bringing him the negativity.”

On the “ A Safe Place ” podcast in May, the Quality Control Music signee initially said that Drake was “deemed a loser in this battle before it started,” mainly because he isn’t well-liked by some. He also mentioned that even if Lamar came out ahead in public opinion, the Toronto native come out on top in the long run.

Kai Cenat Premieres New Drake And Lil Yachty Song During Live Stream

'HOMECOMING WEEKEND' Hosted By The h.wood Group & REVOLVE, Presented By PLACES.CO and Flow.com, Produced By Uncommon Entertainment - Day 2

Kai Cenat has skin in the hip-hop game. At least, he's notable enough to warrant a mention. Drake referenced the Twitch streamer by name on his Kendrick Lamar diss, "Push Ups." He also showed love to Cenat during a 2023 show. "Make some noise for my brother Kai Cenat one time in here, you know," the rapper told the Atlanta crowd. The two appear to be on good terms, but fans were still totally caught off guard on July 23, when Cenat played a previously unreleased collab between Drake and Lil Yachty .

The song doesn't have an official title, but Kai Cenat lets the entire thing play while he reacts in real time. The Twitch streamer counts down from ten before premiering the song, which he seemingly had never heard before. The beat and smooth cadence of the opening verse is classic Drake, or at least, the Drake that fans have gotten in the 2020s. His flow is reminiscent of numerous tracks on Her Loss (2022) and For All the Dogs (2023). Mileage may vary. That being said, Kai Cenat loves it. He struts around the room while Drizzy makes reference to an unfaithful woman.

Drake And Lil Yachty Skate Over A Moody Instrumental

The rapper also drops the line "Cleopatra working at the Pyramid tonight." This seems like a direct nod to Frank Ocean 's 2012 single "Pyramids." There's a brief instrumental break in between Drake and Yachty's verse, and Kai Cenat grows impatient. "Where you at, Boat," he asks. The rapper then hops on the track with his trademark vocal warble. Yachty doesn't flow as smoothly as Drake, but his bizarre inflections are more in line with what his fans like. Overall, the untitled song is pleasantly catchy. Not a smash, but the kind of deep cut that could anchor the back end of an album.

The timing of the song's premiere makes sense, given Drake's recent remarks. The rapper recently told DJ Akademiks that he plans to get back to making hits . "This is him to me," Ak told his viewers. "He says, 'Yo Ak, I’m back to giving everybody who loves me what they love from me.'" There's no word on when fans will get a CDQ version of this Yachty collab. In the meantime, though, Drake will appear on the new Gordo album Diamante , which is out July 27. Maybe the rapper has a 2024 comeback in him after all.

Lil Yachty

Lil Yachty ‘s song with Drake , “ Super Soak ,” continues to cause controversy.

First, Soulja Boy took issue with some of Drake’s lyrics that mentioned his record label Stacks on Deck. Then, during an appearance on the podcast Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant With Akaash Singh in late July, Yachty revealed the reason why he sent the song to streamer Kai Cenat to begin with.

Over the weekend, Mr. Hotspot hopped on IG Live to tell fans his side of the situation, saying he’s open to clearing the sample if they make a clean version of the song. “We recorded them a clean reference and we sent it into them, so hopefully they rerecord the clean reference and we come out with the clean ‘Goodness Gracious’ altogether,” he said. “So I said it’s a process, but it’s … it’ll be good for both of their brands like that, and I’m blessed to work with children, so we just gotta make it clean for them.”

He added, “We don’t need no children getting whooped ’cause they said this or that, you understand? And if you look at the backside, it’s the children who really runnin’ these views up. So, if we make sure both verses clean, everybody coming clean, everybody gonna benefit for sure. It’s a process, but we appreciate you being patient. We sent it in, they got it today and them boys about to turn up. We ain’t tryin’ to hold them back from nothin’, but we just need the morals correct, that’s all.”

This wasn’t the only drama Yachty found himself in.

During the same podcast interview, he also mentioned Drake was “unfazed” after his rap battle with Kendrick Lamar , which, of course, became a topic of discussion on social media. But, that’s not all. A couple weeks ago, he went viral for saying people from New York couldn’t dress when he had Cash Cobain on his podcast A Safe Place .

This, too, caused a stir on social media, which leads us to what the the rapper said Thursday (Aug. 1). Yachty to took Instagram Live and announced that he was going to stay quiet going forward. “I’m not doing no more talkin’,” Yachty said. “I don’t got s—t else to say. I’m gone off this internet s—t. I think I’m gone for the rest of the year. I swear to God. I ain’t got s—t else to say.

He added, “Contracted to do this podcast s—t, unfortunately contracted to, but I ain’t posting no more hs—t. I ain’t posting no fits. I’m deleting the apps off my phone. I swear to God … I’m not tweeting, I’m minding my f–king business.”

Drake and Lil Yachty may be at odds with each other—well, at least that’s what fans are currently speculating. While the evidence is somewhat inconclusive, nosy fans believe they have the receipts to back up their theory that Drizzy has upset Lil Boat and possibly fractured their relationship.

The circumstances causing the rift, one might ask? None other than one of the Toronto rapper‘s patented leaked releases. To be more specific, it appears the mellow drama may have erupted over the “Super Soak (S.O.D.)” collaboration that Yachty gave to streamer Kai Cenat to leak during a stream last month.

The track itself has seemingly already caused more than enough controversy, between Soulja Boy responding and threatening to figuratively choose violence should the song end up being a sneak diss, and Yachty revealing they leaked the song because they couldn’t get the sample cleared.

However, after reports that Drake is readying the song for an official release accompanied by a music video, but not a featured verse from Lil Boat as expected, the track has begun causing a stair once again.

Now, it appears the scandal attached to the release relates to Yachty’s alleged reaction to being taken off of the track. Instagram users pointed out that it appears as though Yachty unfollowed Drake on Instagram shortly after the rumors began circulating that his verse had been cut from the song.

But it appears as though the fan theory is either half-baked or Yachty was fully cooked on social media and reacted quickly considering fans also pointed out that Lil Boat appeared to be following Drizzy again after being called out on the timeline.

Though it feels like a bit of a reach to assume there is trouble in paradise for this collaborative pair based on a pair of screenshots from Instagram, the situation could also be very plausible. Yachty did end up swearing off of the Internet, after being roasted online following the interview he revealed the reason why social media influencer Mr. Hotspot denied clearing the sample for he and Drake in the first place.

“We couldn’t get the sample cleared so I just let Kai play it,” he shared. Yachty also announced that they were not officially releasing the track. “But it’s everywhere,” he said, adding that Mr. Hotspot “went down like a Christian path…it was crazy, everyone was like, ‘Are you serious?'”

In a sense, it wouldn’t be hard to believe that Lil Yachty is somewhat scorned by Drake’s choice to remove him from the track given all of the effort he’s put forth in order to bring it to the masses.

On “No Face,” Drake broadens the scope against anyone who has talked against him, rapping, “I’m just so happy that n—s who envied and held that shit in got to finally show it / I’m over the moon, yeah, we’ll see you boys soon.”

The three tracks arrive a few weeks after the rapper dropped a massive folder on 100gigs.org of unreleased music, behind-the-scenes footage, tour set designs and clips from the studio. Among the files were another trio of songs — “It’s Up” featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage, “Blue Green Red” and “Housekeeping Knows” featuring Latto — that he also debuted on his IG burner before officially releasing them to DSPs a few days later.

Lil Yachty and Karrahbooo’s Feud Escalates With Bullying Accusations

Lil Yachty and his former artist Karrahbooo 's feud escalates with bullying accusations.

Lil Yachty and Karrahbooo Continue Throwing Shots at Each Other

On Sunday (Aug. 25), Lil Yachty hopped on his Instagram Story to address Karrahbooo's claims about writing her own rhymes and being bullied. Karrahbooo was part of Yachty's Concrete Boys collective. Although Yachty didn't directly address the 27-year-old rhymer, his message suggested that he clapped back at her allegations.

"Don't throw rocks and hide your hands," Boat wrote on his IG Story post below.

After catching wind of the Atlanta rapper's message, Karrahbooo posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram Story about supporting others in times of need and alluded to Yachty picking on her.

"I'll never forget this feeling, this chapter of my life. I'll never be the same," Karrahbooo penned in her IG Story. "I'll never forget who was there for me. I done chopped people out/spent my last/slapped folks 4 ni**as. I ride every time naturally, but that's just how I am. Nobody owe me sh*t tbh I'm just taking a mental note. I can't even look at most people da same way. To know the truth and watch a grown man with 12 million followers overly lie on my name and publicly bully me for literally no reason at all while I silently been conquering all da sh*t ni**as been throwing me this whole time behind closed doors. I'll never ignore the signs again, and I will never stop, no matter how much they hate me."

In her next IG Story post, Karrahbooo responded to Yachty's aforementioned message, insisting that they could discuss their issues on the phone. She also stated that she just wanted to make peace with individuals in the music scene.

"I never threw rocks and u have my number you big grown b**ch. Leave me alone literally @lilyachty," she typed in her IG Story post. "I never said nothing about sh*t and I still ain't say nothing 'bout what's really going on. I don't want no beef wit you industry people. Just move on wit ur life. Stop tryna bring me down when I stay out the way. I'm done talking. You got it. Yo character gone speak for itself."

Why are lil yachty and karrahbooo beefing.

Things went south between Lil Yachty and Karrahbooo after a fan shared a post on social media and claimed that after bumping into Karrahbooo at a restaurant, the rapper told her she was kicked out of Concrete Boys and bullied during her time on the label . On Aug. 22, Lil Yachty went live on Instagram and denied Karrahbooo's bullying allegations . Boat said Karrahbooo was actually the one bullying others.

"Tell people how you talk to people," Yachty said in his heated video below. "How you tell my security guard, 'Oh, you homeless. You work for me. You're poor. We above you.' You talk to people like they nothing...Tell people how you verbally abuse people. How you said you gon' spit on me when you see me."

"I been letting you do this whole thing where you act like you a princess and you sweet," he continued. "Stop the front, bro. We have withheld your actions since the beginning of me giving you this career. What the f**k are we talking about, bro. You don't even do nothing. It's so crazy to me, bro. ’Cause I've given you a career, and from time to time, you just disrespect me.

Boat then mentioned that Karrahbooo has a $900,000 debt to his label. Afterward, the Quality Control rhymer leaked his reference track to Karrahbooo's 2023 On The Radar Freestyle , suggesting that she didn't pen the lyrics.

Karrahbooo Claps Back at Lil Yachty's Claims About Writing Her Lyrics

On Aug. 23, Karrahbooo went on her Instagram Story to clap back at Yachty by sharing three songs she claimed to write and highlighted their streaming counts.

"Running Late," boasted over 7 million streams, "Where Yo Daddy," garnered 3 million streams and the On the Radar Concrete Cypher freestyle hit nearly 3 million streams.

Karrahbooo captioned the image, "put it on yo kid i ain't these songs [M]iles[.] Stop da cap and leave me out ur internet shenanigans [tears of joy emoji]."

She continued: "Stop bullying me big dawg [tears of joy emoji] i never said nothing u letting random fans get in yo head man up."

During her performance at the Dig in Day Festival in Chicago on Aug. 24, Karrahbooo suggested that Yachty's ghostwriting claims were false.

"Who ain't write it, who ain't write it," she rapped during her performance in the video below.

Drake courtside at Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers game, wearing a blue and yellow jacket.

People have spent the last few months clowning Drake after his loss to Kendrick Lamar in their rap battle this year, but it seems like he isn’t done. The 37-year-old rapper made a cryptic post about winning “game two” this weekend, leading many to people he was looking to reignite the beef .

Notably, Drake deleted the Instagram story just hours after it was initially posted, but the damage was already done. Fans interpreted the Rasheed Wallace video and the energy in his new batch of records as him sending out a warning shot to his enemies.

In the recent three-pack of songs, he had many bars addressing those he feuded with in 2024. “Ni**as got lit off the features I skated on/ I gotta know, I gotta know, how you get lit off the ni**a you hatin’ on?/ Numbers untouchable, they got the data wrong/ This is the moment I know they been prayin’ on,” he rapped on “No Face.”

Drake, that was the superbowl of rap beef. There is no game two https://t.co/jyvQhLUewK — Keegan (@Keegan59992745) August 26, 2024

After Drake defeated Meek Mill in 2015, he fired more shots at him on “Summer Sixteen,” his 2016 album Views , and his 2017 “playlist” More Life . When he lost to Pusha T in 2018, he sent more subliminal disses his and Kanye West’s way on 2020’s “Life Is Good,” “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Durk, and more tracks. Thus, it is fair to say that fans ought to buckle up and prepare for more disses toward Kendrick Lamar. However, some believe it is a bad idea.

“Do we all agree a ‘game 2’ in the Kendrick vs Drake beef is genuinely pointless,” one fan asked. “Drake lost in Game 3 when Family Matters got trumped by Meet the Grahams in an hour lmao,” another fan said. “Drake, that was the superbowl of rap beef. There is no game two,” another fan wrote.
