I Salute Leonardo DiCaprio and His Massive Yacht

The man is having the summer holiday of our dreams

preview for Killers Of The Flower Moon - Official Teaser (Paramount Pictures)

There are two things about Leonardo DiCaprio that I know will always be true: 1/ He’s a man of leisure, and 2/ He's a man of luxury. When DiCaprio not starring in a blockbuster, or dating a young model, the 48-year-old actor can often be found unwinding in a wildly glamorous manner.

This week, he did exactly that, while cruising around the Amalfi coast in his private yacht. DiCaprio invited his dad, stepmum, and niece along for the ride. Some may find that excessive! They might wonder, Why charter a big-ass boat for just four people? Wouldn’t a smaller ship be easier to manage? I think the answer is pretty simple: Because it's fun! And Leonardo DiCaprio has yacht money! I’d do the same. Wouldn’t you?

Page Six obtained pictures from the affair, showing DiCaprio lounging around his floating estate and jumping in the choppy water.. Thankfully, there were no icebergs around to ruin the fun. This feels like a nice moment for the actor to relax after promoting his latest movie, Killers of the Flower Moon , at the Cannes Film Festival.

The actor's upcoming movie is based on David Grann’s popular nonfiction book, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI . DiCaprio stars in the project alongside Robert DeNiro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, and Lily Gladstone. The crime drama follows a series of murders that affect the indigenous Osage Nation after oil is found on their land. When more and more people go missing, the FBI swoops in to investigate.

Killers of the Flower Moon will premiere in theatres on 2 October. That gives good ol’ Leo at least a few more months to relax before hopping back into movie-star mode. I, for one, can’t wait to see what he does next.

Shirtless leonardo dicaprio makes a splash as he spends day on yacht with his family.

“You jump, I jump, right?”

Leonardo DiCaprio was photographed enjoying some quality time with his family while vacationing along the Italian coast on Monday.

He was joined by niece Normandie, father George DiCaprio and stepmother Peggy Ann Farrar for the second leg of his lavish European vacation along the Amalfi coast — just one week after hosting a flock of his famous friends and models.

The Hollywood heavyweight, 48, showed off his sun-kissed physique in a pair of electric blue swim trunks and gold chain necklace while soaking up the sun.

After getting some much-needed rest on board, DiCaprio decided to take a dip in the seemingly cold water.

The Oscar winner was joined by his teenage niece as the pair leaped off the ship and into the crystal-clear water.

After a fun-filled morning, the group then took an excursion to the Blue Grotto sea caves in Capri.

Despite trying to stay under the radar in a baseball hat and mask, DiCaprio cuddled up to his niece as the family entered the caves.

The “Wolf of Wallstreet” star has been in full relaxation mode over the last couple of weeks after attending the Cannes Film Festival at the end of May.

After leaving the French festival, DiCaprio made his way to Sardinia, Italy to celebrate the nuptials of billionaire art-world heir Joe Nahmad and model Madison Headrick.

Following the star-studded ceremony, the actor was spotted out in London with a group of pals — including model Neelam Gill — as well as his mom, Irmelin Indenbirken. DiCaprio has been spotted with Gill in the past but sources tell Page Six that the British beauty is actually dating one of his friends.

One week later, the actor was then seen arriving at yet another London hotspot just moments before his ex Gigi Hadid entered the same establishment.

While the “Titanic” star was joined by his father and stepmother, it’s unclear whether or not Hadid dined with them once inside.

The pair were first linked last fall, but things seemingly fizzled out  by December 2022 due to their busy schedules.

However, the pair sparked reconciliation rumors last month after they were both spotted leaving Cipriani Downtown in New York City just minutes after one another.

Leo’s In Yacht Boy Summer Mode And Everything Is Right With The World

When mr dicaprio hits the amalfi coast, summer can truly start.

Leo DiCaprio Yacht

Picky bits for tea, Glastonbury Festival, the first official ‘mugging off’ on Love Island: these are all signifiers that we are in the throes of another glorious summer. But, for me, there’s something else, something even more dependable, more tangible, that solidifies our entry into summer proper; and that’s when Leonardo DiCaprio goes into Yacht Boy Summer Mode.

Any browsers of the Mail Online's Sidebar of Shame will have borne witness to the Wolf of Wall Street star in his element, in his natural habitat - a superyacht - in the summer months. Drink in one hand, Brazilian model in the other, Leo will somehow always look almost disgruntled as his 120 footer bobs on the most expensive seas in the world: Positano, Cannes and Capri are just some of his favourite places to anchor, a truly A-list Below Deck primary guest.

This year, having split from girlfriend of almost five years Camilla Morrone (she of Daisy and the Six fame), Leo, 48, is firing up his first single Yacht Boy Summer since 2018 on a yacht just off the Amalfi Coast. Fresh from being linked to Gigi Hadid, we’re waiting with bated breath to see whether he’ll be joined by his usual slew of twenty-something models but for now, in a rare burst of wholesomeness, he seems to be accompanied by his father George DiCaprio, stepmother Peggy Farrar, and niece Normandie, with whom he was seen this week earnestly exploring the Blue Grotto in Capri.

Leo’s had some flack over the years for these yachty summers: for his body (which has often been dubbed a ‘dad bod’ though quite why that’s a criticism I’m not sure), for his yacht mates who are routinely two decades younger than him (the female ones, that is, his male companions are usually his best friends Tobey Maguire and Sean Penn), also for what is perceived as hypocrisy when he spends so much time campaigning for environmental matters.

Does any of this bother Leo? Nah. He's supremely unbothered, in fact. We see Yacht Boy Summer Leo riding on water toys, smoking a cig, euphorically firing water pistols at bikini clad models. He's truly free on a yacht.

When Leonardo finally stops making this annual summer pilgrimage, when he finally settles down with someone his own age (surely?!), I will long for the summers of love we were lucky enough to witness. No more ‘bevvies’ of beauties hanging off his deck, no more water pistol fights.

Leo’s Yacht Boy Summer brightens up my calendar, and I never want him to grow up.

Yacht Trumps: How Leo’s Summers Played Out

2011 - the yachting may have started way before this but this was as far back as I was willing to research. Leo took to the deck in Cannes with Blake Lively (though in a platonic fashion, I must stress)

2013 - back in Cannes again, and the Daily Mail described this outing best when they said Leo was simply,  ‘alternating between smoking, having some fruity cocktails and chatting to a stunning group of women’.

2014 - a rare foray out of the Med, when Leo chartered a $400m superyacht in Brazil for the World Cup

2015 - back to Cannes, where he invited Juliette Lewis on board the $200 million superyacht Rising Sun which he’d chartered for the summer.

2017 - hitting up St Tropez with Tobey Maguire and a ‘bevy of beauties’

2019 - a spell in Positano with then-girlfriend Camille Morone, and old pal Sean Penn

2022 - Leo was spotted enjoying the South Of France again, this time from on board his friend Sir Philip Green's £100million superyacht Lionheart.

2022 - Nerano, Italy with Camilla before they split

June 2023 - Leo is spotted at lunch at his favourite Amalfi haunt, Lo Scoglio in Nerano, with his family

Leonardo DiCaprio is cooling off after spending time with a bunch of hot models ... having a blast with some of his family as his vacation continues on the Amalfi Coast.

The actor took a big leap into the water Sunday off a beautiful yacht ... soaking in some rays with his niece Normandie -- as well as his pops George and stepmother Peggy .

As we reported, Leo went from the Cannes Film Festival to relaxation mode at the end of last month, lounging on the big boat with some of his buddies, including Tobey Maguire .

Meghan Roche Spending Night with Leonardo Dicaprio

Of course, we've seen Leo with a couple of babes during his time abroad -- 22-year-old model Meghan Roche spent a night on the yacht with him, although there wasn't a lot of PDA going on ... at least, as far as we could see.

LEO DICAPRIO & GIGI HADID

He also recently grabbed dinner with Gigi Hadid , his dad and stepmom, and a bunch of other folks at a big dinner party in London ... and followed it up the next night by arriving at the same hotel in separate cars -- with Gigi ridin' with George and Peggy!

Gotta be a lot for Leo, keeping up with the ladies ... sounds like some family time on the yacht could do him some good.

4 of the best superyacht anchorages on the Amalfi Coast

Marina piccola, capri.

It’s not hard to understand why the Amalfi Coast attracts some of the world's largest superyachts every summer. Dotted with secluded coves, clear blue waters guarded by towering cliffs where picture-perfect villages perch precariously, numerous islands and a guest list that rivals a Hollywood premiere, the Amalfi Coast is an ideal destination to explore by yacht. To stay away from the crowds and admire from afar we have put together our top four anchorage’s on the Amalfi Coast.

1. Marina Piccola, Capri

You simply can’t visit the Amalfi coast without a stop in Capri, where celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Beyoncé are frequently spotted on superyachts . Marina Piccola, located to the south of Capri is one of the most visually stunning anchorages in the area. Legend states that this was the chosen spot where, according to Greek mythology, the Sirens seduced Ulysses . It is not hard to see why, the bay is guarded by a large wall of rock to its left which wards off strong winds leaving a calm and sunny spot ideal for dropping anchor. The water is crystal clear — synonymous with the region — so get out on the water toys, dive off the side of your superyacht or swim to shore. This anchorage lies directly opposite Faraglioni beach and in the vicinity of the famed Capri giant sea stacks.

**Take the tender to : **Fontelina beach club. This delightful Capri Beach Club serves tasty, freshly caught seafood lunches. Run by local family Antonio Arcucci, and Gaetano and Mario Gargiulo, this club is the ideal daytime hangout.

To enjoy total privacy on your private cruise or Amalfi luxury yacht charter head to the island of Palmarola. Here, on the least inhabited of the Pontine Islands , you can find many a secluded and protected coves to drop anchor. Its rugged shoreline is a mix of caves, towering cliffs, white sand beaches and craggy heights. In fact, the way in which the weather has eroded these cliffs is often likened to an old dilapidated Roman city. As your yacht sails close, see if you can pick out the cliff called the "Cathedral". This cliff, half-swallowed by the sea, has been battered by the elements and now looks as if an old church has been carved into the side of it. Others resemble Roman arches, or crenelated walls of a castle.

If you love to get out into the water then head to the south of Palmarola where the shallower waters are perfect for snorkeling and swimming, look out for dolphins and, under the water; moray eels. The anchorages here are quiet and protected, so having a relaxing day sunbathing while the kids jump in and out of the water is perfect.

**Take the tender to: **The blue grotto. Then get out and get into the water for a truly memorable diving experience. Admire the volcanic rock formations found under the sea here. The underwater life is ok here, but the landscape is breathtaking.

This busy island is another favourite among superyacht captains. When the wind is strong and coming in from a westerly direction, head to the east side of the island where you can find many sheltered coves. The island itself is very popular but it is still possible to find quieter bays. Procida is by far more authentic and charming than its neighbour of Ischia. From the coastline it is possible to admire its unusual architecture — flat roofed cubic houses reminiscent of the Far East, mixed with small cobble-stoned streets straight out of the medieval era. As with all islands dotted around this part of Italy — the water is crystal clear and the use of motorised water toys is still permitted. So, find your bay (there are so many that once you have had enough of one, pull the chain and head to the next), drop anchor and get out into the water.

**Take the tender to: **Ristorante Vivara. This restaurant on Procida has a fantastic seafront location and offers an extensive menu and wine list. Top tip is to arrive for sundowner’s as the panorama of the sunset is breathtaking.

La Maddalena Archipelago

These islands located on the northeast coast of Sardinia are largely uninhabited and belong to a national park. The seven large islands and 55 tiny isolottis, which make up the archipelago, boast very quiet bays. The landscape of the Maddalena islands is different to the rest of the Amalfi coast; although still quite lunar, the cliffs aren’t as high and the waters are generally a lot shallower. For a family yacht charter or vacation this destination is perfect. The kids can happily play in the calm waters; the swim to shore is never too tiresome and the beaches are filled with soft white sand. Occasionally it is possible for the chef to prepare a picnic and take it ashore for your own private dining experience on one of the many beaches in the area, Spiaggia Giardinelli, found on the main island of La Maddalena is considered to be one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean . To be honest though, there is no one bay that is particularly better or prettier than another — all are of equal grandeur, and the real beauty is if one happens to have another yacht anchored in it, just carry on and find another secret anchorage.

Take the tender to:

The Dolphin Research Centre in Caprera. If you want to discover more about the underwater world, head to this research centre where guests will learn about the different species of dolphin, whales and sharks. Through video, lessons and workshops, guests will get insights into the conservation methods used to help protect these sea creatures.

Leonardo DiCaprio Looks Like the King of the World on Yacht Vacation

Leonardo DiCaprio has been making the most of his downtime since the Cannes Film Festival ended. In the aftermath of the festival, the 48-year-old movie star was photographed hanging out with his friend and fellow actor Tobey Maguire, and was also spotted entering the same London restaurant as his ex-girlfriend, model Gigi Hadid .

More recently, DiCaprio has hit the continent again. He was seen relaxing while shirtless on his yacht off the Amalfi Coast with his father George, stepmother Peggy, and niece Normandie. Photos published in Page Six show the Titanic star unwinding on board, taking a dip in the ocean, and taking a boat out to explore the Blue Grotto sea caves in Capri. But don't worry; there was not a single iceberg in sight.

This vacation comes after an intense window of promoting his new movie Killers of the Flower Moon , which marks DiCaprio's seventh collaboration with Martin Scorsese . (He first worked with the director on Gangs of New York , followed by The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, The Wolf of Wall Street, and short film The Audition. )

Killers of the Flower Moon , based on a critically lauded nonfiction book by David Grann, is a fictionalized account of the true story of a series of murders in the indigenous Osage Nation in Oklahoma in the 1920s following the discovery of oil on Osage land, and the newly-formed FBI's investigation into the unsolved deaths. DiCaprio stars alongside Robert DeNiro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, and Lily Gladstone.

Leonardo DiCaprio's Endless Summer

leonardo dicaprio yacht amalfi coast

I am thrilled to inform you that once again Leonardo DiCaprio and his closest friend and confidant Tobey McGuire are on a boat. They are not in St.-Tropez , nor Sardinia , nor even the Amalfi Coast. That was yesterday’s yachting. This week, they’re off the coast of Ibiza.

The crew is different this time as well. Leo and Tobey are hanging out with Ibiza's finest: Arabella Chi, 32-year-old Love Island star and Riccardo Tisci , Burberry’s COO. Chi and DiCaprio are not dating the tabloids say; she’s instead been linked to DiCaprio’s other buddy and nightlife man about town Richie Akiva , according to the Daily Mail . The actor’s plus one was actually Mick Jagger, who joined him for lunch on Wednesday.

I know what you’re thinking. Are you going to take note of every time Leonardo DiCaprio steps dockside until the end of time? All I can say is that it’s nice to have a calling. A grounding force, something to carry you through this one wild and precious life.

And one day, won’t we—humanity—want a record of this? We’ll want to know that through all the heat and discord, somebody was pressing on, deciding to live . We’ll want to know that Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio always returned to the sea, whether it was the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, and found something there to float on. And that we always caught him if we could.

Vacanze in Italia.

In particolare, all’Argentario, perla della costa maremmana.

The Italian holiday comes just days after Gigi Hadid, 28, and Leonardo enjoyed yet another evening out with his father and stepmother in London.

The supermodel and the Oscar-winning actor were both seen arriving at the Chiltern Firehouse in London, on Wednesday.

It marked their second night out in a row in the capital, after they went for dinner with Leo's parents at China Tang on Tuesday.

The pair's romance reportedly fizzled out in February but despite the apparent end to their brief relationship, the two were spotted together multiple times in May and have allegedly been hanging out again recently.

Leonardo has a very close relationship with his dad, who separated from the actor's mother shortly after he was born, and married Peggy Farrar two decades later, in 1995.

Having struggled for money in the early stages of Leo's childhood, George found work as an installer of asbestos and fireproof roofing before setting out on his own with the launch of a waterbed business called Foggy Bottom.

George also made a name for himself as one of the leading figures in the underground comic scene as a writer, editor and distributor - before guiding son Leo in the early days of his on-screen career.

While Leonardo is an award-winning Hollywood actor, his father has had a brief foray into the movie world.

The elder DiCaprio recently had a small role in Paul Thomas Anderson's 1970s-set coming-of-age comedy Licorice Pizza.

He played a wig shop owner and waterbed salesman who convinced the film's protagonist (played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman's Cooper) to start his own waterbed business.

It comes after Leo was reported to have been spending time with his close fiend, supermodel Irina Shayk.

The Shutter Island star, and Irina, 37, who has a child with actor Bradley Cooper, were both at Naomi Campbell's birthday bash at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month.

The Russian supermodel, who lives in New York, was also among those attending the premiere of his latest film Killers of Flower Moon.

They have known each other a long time and were both at Coachella this spring - although officially they are 'just friends'.

At 37, Irina is a little older than the actor's usual companions, with Leo usually dating women 25 and under.

Arrive in Naples

Fly to Naples Airport and step into the city of Naples where your yacht lies, her crew waiting to greet you onboard.

The ancient city of Naples is a jewel on the Tyrrhenian Sea that’s bursting with art, culture and history – and while there is enough to explore here to keep you busy for weeks, a trip to the iconic ruins of Pompeii is an absolute must. What’s more, Naples’s lavish Excelsior Hotel is a perfect luxury base for pre-cruise relaxation, and the city’s Michelin-starred cuisine is a sumptuous Mediterranean treat to be enjoyed with spectacular views.

WHERE TO DINE

La cantinella.

Cuisine: Local

Style / Ambiance: La Cantinella is the perfect place to unwind over a delicious pre-trip lunch or dinner, and an excellent way to sample Naples before setting sail.

This is a restaurant that offers a truly authentic Neapolitan experience: from splendid, sweeping views across the Bay of Naples to Mount Vesuvius, to Michelin-starred, seasonal cuisine that, using the freshest produce that the region has to offer, marries traditional Neapolitan flavors with innovative contemporary flair.

WHAT TO DO DURING THE DAY

Pompeiian ruins

Just a 35-minute drive away from central Naples you will find the unforgettable ruins of Pompeii. Once a thriving Roman metropolis, this ancient city was buried under volcanic ash by the cataclysmic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD79, killing most of its flourishing community and utterly destroying the city.

Over the last two hundred years, archaeological excavators have filled in the ash-preserved outlines of Vesuvius’s victims with plaster or resin to create evocative true-to-life moulds of ancient Pompeians in the positions in which they died (and with expressions of panic and terror intact). These make Pompeii an incredibly evocative and moving place to visit and one of Italy’s most beloved and visited tourist attractions. As with all the other major Italian tourist sites Pompeii is packed with visitors all year round, so for a truly exclusive way to experience this memorable place, take a look at the various luxury and private tours on offer. These can include chauffeur-driven travel and private access to specific archaeological sites with trained archaeologists as guides, as well as gourmet food and wine options from the prestigious wine estates of the Naples region.

Ischia

DAY 1: Naples to Ischia

18 nautical miles

Having experienced some of the rich flavors of Naples, you’ll set off on a leisurely cruise to the beautiful volcanic island of Ischia. Greener than its rockier neighbour Capri, on Ischia you’ll find spectacular gardens, idyllic beaches and delicious, creative local food.

However, the real draw is the opportunity for relaxation and pampering: volcanic Ischia’s famous bubbling thermal springs offer some wonderful spa experiences, the health benefits of which have been known and enjoyed since ancient times. This is a truly indulgent way to kick off your Amalfi experience.

il mosaico

IL MOSAICO (At Terme Manzi Hotel & Spa)

Style / Ambiance: This is the only double-Michelin-starred restaurant on Ischia and it is so lauded as a result of the originality and genius of its chef, Nino Di Constanzo.

You won’t find the most spectacular view on the island here – that can be enjoyed in abundance at the beach or from your opulent private yacht – but what you will find is food crafted with precision and exquisite skill. Fresh, local produce is transformed into something truly original and memorable while traditional textures and flavors are kept firmly at center stage.

The surroundings are idyllic and include waterfalls, green slopes and fragrant bursts of flowers.

DAY 2: Ischia to Capri

Set out from verdant Ischia and sail across the warm Mediterranean waters at a leisurely pace.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast on deck and anticipate the joys of Capri. Your next stop has been a destination for fun, sun and relaxation for around two thousand years and a place of human habitation for even longer. The allure of this remarkable island can be seen in its colorful and dramatic history: savagely raided by pirates for centuries; settled by Stone and Bronze Age peoples, as well as Greek colonists; passed between the Roman, Ottoman, French and British empires; and in recent years a haven for the rich and famous – from Mariah Carey to Leonardo DiCaprio – for its glamour and party atmosphere. This rich tapestry of history and culture, a reputation as one the coolest destinations on the Mediterranean and a dazzling heritage of natural treasures, have bedecked Capri with myriad places to see and be seen at, and all on a landmass just four miles long and two miles wide. The island has two main villages. Hilly Anacapri is where the lavish Capri Palace Hotel & Spa can be found, where indulgent spa treatments and world-class shopping complement elegant luxury living, and just a six-minute drive away lies the main square of Capri, which is the place to sip early evening cocktails in style before moving on to a glamorous party spot.

Positano

DAY 3: Capri to Positano

20 nautical miles

Set out from Capri around mid-morning and cruise back to mainland Italy along the winding Amalfi Coast, enjoying the spectacular scenery as you go.

Positano, your next stop, so bewitched John Steinbeck that he wrote of it movingly as a ‘dream place’ that ‘bites deep’ – and it isn’t hard to see why. Positano is less crowded nowadays than Capri, but it is just as beautiful: rows of pastel-colored houses seem to defy gravity as they cling to a steep hillside that crashes down into the sea. This town has a dramatic history involving Roman emperors, pirate raids, mass emigration and economic decline. However, as Steinbeck recounted, the many thousands of Positanese who left for New York when the town faltered were determined to be buried back in Positano, so great was their love for this enchanting town. Discover it for yourself; with an ambiance that is both ethereal and enigmatic, this place is all about savoring your surroundings. Wander along the high cliff roads and rocky shoreline taking in the impossible color of the sea, and the atmosphere that inspired so many film directors and musicians (the Rolling Stones’ Midnight Rambler was written in one of the town’s many cafes). Enjoy a world class meal, scope out some authentic Positano fashion, watch the world go by from the comfort of an elegant bar and indulge in authentic Amalfi Coast life.

IL SAN PIETRO (At IL SAN PIETRO DI POSITANO)

Style / Ambiance: A five-minute drive or a leisurely walk from Positano itself, the luxury tour de force that is the Il San Pietro hotel offers renowned traditional cuisine on a stunning terrace (if you can get the best seats in the house) with a startling view of the clear blue Mediterranean.

This truly is a Michelin-starred feast for the palate with a sumptuous feast for the eyes.

DAY 4: Positano to Amalfi and Ravello

10 nautical miles

As you set off from Positano, enjoy the iconic coastal scenery that greets your yacht as it winds along the bay.

It is a short, gentle cruise to your next stop: the enchanting towns of Amalfi and Ravello. Docking your yacht in Amalfi allows you to explore both towns. Heading four miles inland to reach Ravello, you will find sublime luxury, stunning architecture and a vibrant cultural scene. Artists, musicians and writers have been attracted to this town for decades, notably Wagner and DH Lawrence who wrote parts of Lady Chatterley’s Lover here. Meanwhile the town of Amalfi is the heart of the Amalfi Coast, with beauty, culture and its own rich history as a dominant seafaring power in the Mediterranean (see our Featured Events section for details of its thrilling nautical celebrations).

ROSSELLINI’S (At Palazzo Avino)

Cuisine: Neapolitan fusion

Style / Ambiance: With two Michelin stars and a position high above the sea, Rossellini’s – at lavish luxury hotel Palazzo Avino – offers your palate the very best in the world of Italian haute cuisine.

A beautiful interior makes for a charming dining area in cold weather, but the real heart of this establishment is the terrace space, with its soft lighting, fragrant flowers, the vast sweep of the Mediterranean a thousand feet below and a marvellous view. For those who would prefer to have this delightful space for themselves, Rossellini’s accommodates exclusive private events for up to 70 guests.

DAY 4 – 5: Amalfi to Stromboli (overnight)

120 nautical miles

The long cruise from the mainland of the Amalfi Coast to the first of the Aeolian Islands is best done overnight, as much of it is open sea. You’ll enjoy blissful sleep in the sublime luxury of your yacht as it sails across the ocean.

Having savored the cultural and natural delights of Amalfi and Ravello, you’ll wake up in an entirely different world. The eight Aeolian Islands are the result of an explosion of volcanic activity in the Tyrrhenian Sea – shattered fragments of earth wrought by immense geological forces that were set in motion as humans were first evolving from apes. That is the draw and the wonder of these islands – the evidence of the elemental forces that continually shape and re-make the planet is all around. Their ancient volcanic heritage has given the Aeolians stunning otherworldly beaches of black sand, as well as exhilarating thermal springs and rich volcanic mud which make for truly unrivalled pampering opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else.

The first of the islands that you will come across, Stromboli, is home to one of the most active volcanoes in the world. It was showcased unforgettably in the classic Rossellini film Stromboli, forever associating the island with Hollywood star Ingrid Bergman, and inspiring American folk legend Woody Guthrie to imagine a life with Bergman on Stromboli in the shadow of the mountain. Experience Stromboli at your own pace – if you’re feeling energetic hike up to the crater with a local guide, and experience the ancient mountain’s continuous eruption up close. Alternatively, stroll along the dark beaches lapped by warm, clear water, enjoy fresh local fish in a chic bar or restaurant or party with the stylish jet-set. Sail around the island when it’s dark and see how different an eruption looks at night. Do everything you can to soak up the strange beauty of this island, which is like nowhere else on earth.

Strombolicchio

VOLCANO BY NIGHT

The exhilaratingly tough trek to the summit of Stromboli (or to the gentler 1,300 foot point of Sciara del Fuoco) will reward you with a dazzling 360 degree view of the sea and the islands, and a close-up of the crater that erupts every single day. For many visitors this is all the volcano they need. However, if you really want to see Stromboli in its true magnificence, the only way to do so is at night – either climbing with a guide or sailing around the island and watching it erupt from the water. What appeared to be fierce bursts of smoke and steam in daylight are, at night, fiery jets of flame-bright lava that shoot off into the sky with spectacular abandon, burning a dazzling, furious red against the night sky. The sight of Stromboli erupting at night is one of the most thrilling sights on the planet, let alone in Italy, and one that you cannot afford to miss.

DAY 6: Stromboli to Panarea

Panarea

12 nautical miles

A leisurely morning’s sailing from ethereal Stromboli will bring you to Panarea, the smallest of the inhabited Aeolian Islands, with a reputation for being the ‘it’ destination in the archipelago.

International superstars and VIPs adore Panarea, which has an unspoilt, unhurried vibe about it and an exclusive party scene that centers around chic but authentic Hotel Raya (the place to stay for people in the know). It’s not unusual to see Dolce & Gabbana or Leonardo DiCaprio sampling local delicacies at Raya’s bistro restaurant or partying in style at its hilltop disco. While Panarea certainly is the place to let loose and dance the night away, it has compelling cultural treats on offer too. The startling ruins of a Bronze Age village are well worth exploring, and English and Roman shipwrecks are within swimming distance of the shore, providing the perfect excuse for snorkelling and diving.

DAY 7: Panarea to Lipari, Salina and Vulcano

Hop between the three to experience a perfect Aeolian day. Taste fresh local flavors in Lipari town and discover its long and dramatic local history. On Vulcano – the legendary workshop of the Roman god Vulcan and where the word ‘volcano’ originated – climb the mountain’s forgiving slopes for a glimpse at the crater and an astonishing view, then reward yourself with some homegrown volcanic pampering. Succumb to the blissful escape of Salina, where you can get away from it all with an afternoon of unspoilt beaches and hidden coves, and where the sumptuous local wine is a must-try.

DAY 8 – 9: Lipari to Taormina

literary genivs loci

67 nautical miles

The cruise from Lipari to Taormina will take you across the open blue Tyrrhenian and down through the narrow Strait of Messina, hugging the north-eastern coast of Sicily as you go. Sicily is one of the most unique destinations in Europe.

A dizzying carnival of diverse cultural influences and traditions stem from a breathtakingly colorful history, all of which have jostled, blended and adapted through the centuries to give rise to the distinct Sicilian identity that exists today. Sicily’s island position has historically made it a crossroads within Europe. Continuously invaded, settled and influenced by distinct peoples and powers, its history is a microcosm of the great cultures and power brokers of the continent, and of the Mediterranean.

Sicily has been inhabited by humans since prehistoric times. It was colonised by the sea-faring Phoenicians and settled by Ancient Greeks, who built monumental cities such as Syracuse that became important centers of classical civilization. Sicily has been an important home to early Christian communities, it was conquered by the Roman and Byzantine Empires, and for over a hundred years it was an Islamic Emirate, ruled from Tunisia and Egypt. Sicily has been ruled by Norman, Spanish and Italian kings, and has been independent, wealthy and politically powerful at times, yet at other times in thrall to the dominant powers of the day. This rich history has left its mark on Sicilian art, literature, architecture, food, music and traditions, and made it home to stunning archaeological sites and uncommonly beautiful buildings. Sicily has developed a unique identity within Italy, with its own traditions and even its own language – the vocabulary of which is a patchwork of words from a variety of Mediterranean cultures. What’s more, this enthralling melting pot simmers in a spectacular natural setting of mountains and clear blue sea that can be experienced in true VIP exclusivity. There is so much to experience here that it is impossible to take it all in with just a few days’ cruising, but why not use your time to enjoy a taste of the best with our recommendations.

As you sail down the Strait of Messina you are nearing your first Sicilian destination – one of the most beloved towns on the island. As it will be afternoon by the time you get here, why not spend a couple of days immersing yourself in the many delights it has to offer. Taormina is a beautiful summer resort with idyllic beaches, riveting history and culture, and heaps of VIP glamour. The prestigious annual film festival ensures a high-end Hollywood crowd flocks here in the summer, in particular to the opulent Grand Hotel Timeo. However, as Audrey Hepburn and DH Lawrence would attest to, even without festival fever this would still be a place that enchants and entices the brightest and the best.

Principe Cerami (At San Domenico Palace Hotel)

Style / Ambiance: San Domenico is a converted monastery that was founded on the island 600 years ago and its Michelin-starred summer restaurant is deeply rooted in Sicilian food traditions.

Enjoy exceptionally crafted dishes that blend traditional flavors with skilful contemporary flair. The restaurant’s strikingly elegant interior is ideal for indoor dining, but dinner on the terrace – with its pretty antique lamps and panoramic night-lit view of Taormina and the Ionian Sea – is highly recommended.

Teatro Greco

greek theater genivs loci

Taormina’s Greco-Roman heritage has gifted the town this immense ancient theater, one of the best preserved and most startlingly beautiful monuments in Sicily. With a history of over two thousand years, the theater was originally built by Ancient Greeks and later renovated, adapted and expanded by Romans. Carved into the hillside rocks, it sits in a truly spectacular elevated position looking out over majestic, snow-peaked Etna, the coastline of Sicily, the Ionian Sea and the far coast of mainland Italy. This view alone would make the theater worth visiting, but there is much to marvel at in the ruins themselves, and with its close proximity to the elite Grand Hotel Timeo, there is no excuse not to spend a remarkable morning or afternoon here. Visiting at night is a must-do too, as Taormina’s thriving summer arts festival regularly holds concerts, dance performances, theater and films in this beautiful setting. What’s more, you’ll spy more than a dash of Hollywood glamour here if you visit during film festival season, as the Teatro Greco is where world premieres are screened, and where stars pose and mingle in style on the festival’s exclusive red carpet.

DAY 10: Taormina to Catania

BAROQUE CHURCH IN catania

Sailing on to Catania, you’ll find a fascinating city with a complicated identity.

Founded 2,700 years ago, this is a place that has had a turbulent relationship with its environment and history. An important political capital at times, which flourished through vibrant cultural and artistic innovation during the Renaissance, it has also been ravaged by violent natural phenomena. Catania reflects the wider history of Sicily, having been a Greek, Roman, Norman, Arab and Italian city in its time, taking on a succession of identities that have all left their mark. Strolling around Catania you will find medieval churches, classical monuments, castles, palaces, squares and museums to explore (one of the most notable is the eccentric Fontana dell’Elefante, a statue of an elephant carved from solidified lava and inexplicably topped with an Egyptian obelisk). However, many of these are no more than glimpses of Catania in its earlier incarnations: fragments that survived the 17th century earthquake, a volcanic eruption that flattened the city and the Baroque rebuilding that followed. Etna has not been so violent since, but it is still a looming presence on the horizon that feeds its valley with fruitful volcanic soil for uniquely delicious food and wine, which absolutely must be sampled.

Mount Etna

You will see and hear about Mount Etna a great deal while on Sicily. There are beautiful views of it from Taormina, Acireale and Catania. You can savor the intense flavors of the vegetables and wine grown from the abundant soil of the Etna valley, or pamper yourself in the mountain’s rich sulphuric mud and warm, bubbling springs. However, there is nothing like experiencing this enormous volcano (which in Arabic is named ‘Mountain of Fire’) up close. Set within protected parkland a short drive from Catania, the extraordinary landscape of Etna and its surroundings offer something for everyone. You can summon the spirit of adventure and hike up the mountain with a local guide, passing green forests and extraordinary solidified lava from recent eruptions; take in the exhilarating view in a relaxed style by cable car and four-wheel drive; enjoy a sumptuous wine tour of the extensive vineyards within the Etna Regional Park; or visit the Piano Provenzana ski resort, which was destroyed in an eruption and has since been rebuilt. There are tangible reminders everywhere of the living, simmering Etna’s potential to wreak destruction, but right alongside are the plentiful rich tastes and awe-inspiring sights the volcano gives rise to – which are worth docking your yacht for, no matter how you experience them.

Il Cuciniere (At Katane Palace Hotel)

Style / Ambiance: This elegant hotel restaurant is a treat for gourmands. Sicilian ingredients are transformed into creative, mouth-watering dishes that are complemented with an excellent selection of local wines – many from grapes grown in the fertile Etna valley. The charming outdoor terrace is a delight in summer, offering carefree alfresco dining in pretty and fragrant surroundings. Dedicated foodies will find even more to enjoy at Il Cuciniere, as the restaurant offers excellent cooking classes with its talented team, as well as delicious gourmet tasting sessions.

Terme di Acireale

Treatment and facilities: A half-hour drive from Catania (or about half way on your gentle cruise to the town from Taormina), is a decadent pampering experience steeped in Sicily’s volcanic heritage. The charming town of Acireale has nearby Mount Etna to thank for its nourishing, sulphur-rich hot springs, the rejuvenating properties of which have been known and enjoyed for thousands of years (as seen in the nearby archaeological remains of an ancient spa). Built in 1873, the spa complex, complete with a solarium and swimming pool, uses the thermal water to offer blissful pampering and nourishment, along with other rejuvenating treatments and decadent relaxation opportunities. The adjacent hotel, Excelsior Palace Terme, is a charming place to stop for an authentic Sicilian lunch and some post-spa quiet time, with two excellent gourmet restaurants, lush gardens, a stylish poolside bar, and sumptuous views of Mount Etna.

DAY 11: Catania to Syracuse

Dawn in Syracuse

30 nautical miles

Your next Sicilian stop, the UNESCO World Heritage city of Syracuse, has roots stretching back thousands of years and is renowned for its Ancient Greek heritage.

Considered to be the Athens of Sicily, Syracuse was one of the most important and beautiful cities of the Greek world. Prosperous, politically powerful and culturally influential in its day, Syracuse was the birthplace of Archimedes and was visited regularly by Plato. In later years it became home to some of the greatest poets in the medieval Arab world. This rich heritage and powerful identity is apparent as you walk around taking in the glorious classical monuments, evocative crumbling facades and the Baroque splendor that was built into the city after the devastating earthquake of 1693. Soak up these enchanting surrounds over a delectable gourmet lunch, enjoy the sublime island view from the panoramic ancient theater or head there in the evening to immerse yourself in some classic drama in breathtaking style.

old greek temple

One of the most celebrated sights in Syracuse is the Greek theater, a startling testament to the city’s strong identity as a thriving ancient cultural center, which dates back to the fifth century BC. Built into the slope of a hill, it looks out across the turquoise sea and over to the picturesque Ionian island of Ortygia, the legendary birthplace of the Greek goddess Artemis. An important hub of Syracusan cultural life in ancient times, today the theater is more than a remarkable relic – every summer it hosts performances of classic Ancient Greek comedies and tragedies, keeping the theater’s original purpose and Syracuse’s Greek heritage very much alive. This authentic theater experience in such a magical and time-honored setting is one not to be missed.

DAY 12: Syracuse to Ragusa

Ragusa glows at dusk

38 nautical miles

On day 12 you will want to think about setting out from Syracuse early.

It is a good few hours of sailing to your next stop, and you will want to get there early to see as much of this UNESCO World Heritage site as you can in the daylight. Relax on deck with a cocktail and immerse yourself in the view as your yacht winds around the picturesque southern coast of Sicily. Your destination, Ragusa, is a city with over three thousand years of history, and was obliterated in the same 1693 earthquake that ravaged Catania and Syracuse, taking around 5,000 Ragusan lives. The medieval splendor of the Baroque rebuilding that took place in those other earthquake-struck cities reached its zenith here. Perched on a hill between two valleys, from a distance Ragusa is a striking ornate cluster, jutting out of the landscape like a pale jewel. A closer look reveals two distinct areas: Ragusa Superiore, built further up the hill, and Ragusa Ibla, the old town said to sit upon an ancient early human settlement. The two are separated by a deep, bridge-crossed ravine and both are marked by narrow, winding lanes that curl around opulent cathedrals and palazzos – ideal for long, idyllic mornings of exploration and people-watching from cafes. This town has a lower profile than glamorous Taormina, busy Catania or touristy Syracuse, but it is one of the most beautiful places on the island and offers a number of world class Michelin-starred restaurants. The undiscovered feel of Ragusa is reminiscent of the smaller Aeolian Islands and quieter villages of the Amalfi Coast, so enjoy getting away from it all, drink in stunning Baroque delights and treat your palate with award-winning food. As Ragusa is located a few miles inland, you can dock your yacht on the idyllic coast before heading in to the main town and immersing yourself in its picturesque escape.

Cuisine: Sicilian fusion

Style / Ambiance: Duomo is the only double-Michelin-starred restaurant on the flourishing Ragusan culinary scene.

The extraordinary food served here aims to represent the symphony of cultural influences and culinary traditions that define “Sicilian” food and “Sicilianness”. The emphasis is on rediscovering forgotten traditional flavors and celebrating the contradictions, contrasts and adaptability of the Sicilian identity. This ambitious concept makes for clever, highly praised and exceptionally delicious food.

DAY 12 – 13

Day 12 – 13: ragusa to agrigento.

agrigento

60 nautical miles (overnight)

Settle in for the night in lavish comfort and style as your yacht curls past the southern tip of Sicily and along wild and beautiful coastline to your next spectacular destination.

Though the ancient city of Agrigento has suffered its share of earthquakes, fortunately much of its ancient heritage has survived, giving the city what is arguably the richest archaeological legacy in Sicily. People flock from all over the world to see the supremely wondrous Valley of the Temples, the best known of Sicily’s ancient sites, which is counted alongside the splendors of Venice and Rome in the national heritage of Italy and protected by UNESCO. The Valley of the Temples alone makes a visit to Sicily worthwhile; we suggest it being the focus of your stop in Agrigento, so take a look at our recommendations to see how you can make your visit truly exclusive.

Valley of the Temples (with Sicily Travel Net)

agrigento’s ruins

Just outside the main sprawl of modern Agrigento, within a vast protected archaeological park, are the ruins of a number of colossal Ancient Greek temples, including the largest Doric temple ever envisioned, which are variously dedicated to the gods and goddesses of fire, medicine, marriage and thunder, and to ancient heroes of classical legend. Goethe declared the site “stupendous” when he visited in the 18th century and the scale and scope of these astonishing monuments cannot be appreciated until they are seen. These architectural and historical wonders would, in their day, have marked out Agrigento as one of the most spectacular cities of the ancient world and while the modern city has lost much of its magic and prominence, its archaeological legacy is not to be missed. There’s a chance for some VIP exclusivity too as local experts Sicily TravelNet have long running links with the archaeological park authority and are able to offer elite after-hours private tours or arrange exclusive parties in the spectacular setting of the temples. The company can organise all kinds of events – from lavish corporate functions to memorable private celebrations, including the catering, decor and music – for any number of guests. This would be a truly privileged and elite way to enjoy one of the planet’s most magnificent sights.

DAY 14: Agrigento to Palermo

Palermo

48 nautical miles

The western coast of Sicily is known for being less polished than the east, but you will discover it to be just as breathtaking as your yacht winds its way around the coast towards Palermo, your final destination.

As the capital of Sicily, Palermo offers every modern convenience, including a large airport with private jet facilities for travelling home in style. This beautiful and bewildering city is the heart of the island and sits on an area first inhabited an astonishing ten thousand years ago, exuding a cultural and historical richness that represents just about every era of Sicily’s long history. For that reason, it is the perfect place to round off your time in Sicily in style, although it is infinitely worth exploring for longer. Should you choose to stay on for a few more days there are a wealth of luxury options to choose from, including the marvellous Hilton Villa Igiea that sits majestically by the panoramic harbor. Take a look at our recommendations on where to eat, drink and be pampered in and around Palermo, but don’t forget to simply walk around and breathe in your environment; duck into ancient winding alleys, step into stunning medieval churches, and sit down over a lunchtime cocktail to watch the fast sprawl of people barreling through Sicily’s chaotic, charisma-laden capital.

Regional Archaeological Museum

Palermo’s Regional Archaeological Museum (also known as the Antonio Salinas Museum), is an extraordinary collection of Sicilian treasures, displayed within a beautiful medieval monastery. There’s an entire section devoted to displaying artefacts found underwater, including evocative everyday objects such as lamps and vases, and also wonderful inscriptions from the range of cultures that have made Sicily their home, from Phoenician sailors to Roman soldiers. Other rooms display breathtaking classical art, Greek statues and Roman mosaics, and tantalizing physical glimpses of the prehistoric peoples who were the original Sicilians. Having sailed around this vibrant, patchwork island and experienced its rich legacy of art, architecture and history, stop by this wonderful museum at your final Sicilian destination to see all these different aspects spectacularly brought together under one roof.

Capuchin Catacombs

palermo’s cathedral

If you’re in the mood for something a bit different, Palermo’s ghoulish but fascinating Capuchin Catacombs make for a memorable afternoon’s exploration. At the end of the 16th century the monks at the city’s Capuchin monastery began to embalm the bodies of their friars when they died and place them in the catacombs. This practice soon became fashionable among the city’s wealthier inhabitants and for the next few hundred years, until as late as 1920, thousands of Palermo’s elite paid for their relatives – or asked in their wills – to be mummified and positioned in the catacombs. Today there are 8,000 mummies on display, many of which have been arranged into unsettling poses. Though not for everyone, this bizarre but unique site is deeply mesmerizing and an enthralling insight into Palermo life over the centuries.

4 of the Best Superyacht Anchorages on the Amalfi Coast

The beautiful Amalfi Coast plays host to many of the world’s largest superyachts during the long, hot summer months. This coastline has towering cliffs, villages perched precariously, secluded coves and the bluest of waters. Many guests who visit the Amalfi Coast are from the rich and famous world of movies. It’s a fantastic place to explore when on board a superyacht especially when away from the crowds. Here is the full Amalfi private yacht charter guide .

Here are four of the best anchorages for luxury yacht charters on the Amalfi Coast:

1. Marina Piccola, Capri: Capri is a favourite stop over for celebs like Beyonce and Leonardo DiCaprio who are often seen on superyachts around this gorgeous island. The Marina Piccola is to the south of Capri and a spectacular place to anchor. According to ancient Greek mythology, the Sirens seduced Ulysses here and it’s not difficult to see why. The enticing bay has a rock wall on the left which protects it from strong winds. This in turn provides a sunny and calm spot to drop anchor. With clear waters, it’s the perfect location to try out the many water toys on board or dive off the side of the vessel. This anchorage is opposite Faraglioni beach and close to Capri’s giant sea stacks. Why not take one of the tenders to Fontelina beach club? Here you can try a freshly caught seafood lunch. Antonio Arcucci, Gaetano and Mario Gargiulo run this club which makes for a perfect place to hang out during the day.

Yacht QUITE ESSENTIAL in Capr

2. Palmarola:   If you’re after privacy on your superyacht and on shore, take your charter yacht to Palmarola. There are lots of private and secluded coves to drop anchor especially on the least inhabited Pontine Islands. Along with a rugged coastline are huge cliffs, soft white sandy beaches and interesting caves. The cliffs have been weathered over many years and resemble an ancient Roman city. Try and spot the cliff called the “Cathedral” which has been battered and half swallowed by the sea. It now appears like an old church which has been carved into the side. Other cliffs look like the walls of castles and Roman arches. For water enthusiasts, head south of Palmarola to enjoy the shallow waters. It’s ideal for swimming, snorkelling, looking out for dolphins or Moray eels. Anchorages are usually quiet and protected so your day can be enjoyed whether sunbathing or playing with the children in the water. Hop on a tender to visit the Blue Grotto or enjoy a diving experience of a lifetime. Watch out for the amazing volcanic rock formations and the marine life which darts in and out of the beautiful underwater landscape.

WINNICO YACHTS

3. Procida: Procida is rather a busy island and a firm favourite with captains of superyachts. If the wind is coming from the west, it’s usually strong, so head to the island’s east side where there are sheltered bays. Finding quiet coves is possible if you want a day of peace and quiet. Procida is a charming island, more so than its neighbour Ischia. There’s unique architecture on land with flat roofed houses reminding you of the Far East while cobble stoned streets give the impression of coming straight from a medieval time. Crystal clear waters surround the islands around this particular part of Italy and motorised water toys are allowed. Once you find the bay you would like to anchor in, take the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim. The Ristorante Vivara on Procida is right on the sea front and offers a fantastic menu along with a vast wine list. Stay until the sun sets enjoying a sundowner to experience a touch of heaven on earth.

Panorama of Procida Island with view on Corricella village, Italy

4. La Maddalena Archipelago:   This stunning archipelago can be found on the north-east coast of Sardinia . The islands are uninhabited and belong to a national park. There are seven islands altogether and 55 small isolottis which have very quiet bays. The landscape here is quite different to the rest of the Amalfi coast in that the cliffs aren’t as high and the water is shallow. For families, La Maddalena Archipelago is absolutely perfect. Children can safely splash in the waters or build sandcastles with the soft white sand. Your onboard chef might even be able to make a picnic up for you to take ashore for everyone to enjoy. One of the best beaches in the Med is Spiaggia Giardinelli located on the main island of La Maddalena. That said, all of the bays and beaches are beautiful along the Amalfi coast. If one bay has a yacht anchored in it, just sail on to the next to find a more secluded anchorage spot. The Dolphin Research Centre in Caprera can be reached easily by tender. This interesting centre is where guests can learn about different species of whales, sharks and friendly dolphins. Enjoy lessons, workshops and videos about these magnificent creatures and how conservation methods help protect them.

Who is Normandie? Shirtless Leonardo DiCaprio soaks up the sun with niece on family's Italian vacay on luxury yacht

AMALFI, ITALY: Leonardo DiCaprio appeared in great spirits as he soaked up the sun on a luxury yacht near the Amalfi Coast on Sunday, June 11. The Hollywood heavyweight, 48, was pictured showing off his buff physique and muscled chest while wearing nothing but a small, light blue bathing suit. When it became too hot, DiCaprio jumped from the stunning boat into the water to cool off.

For the sunny outing, the ‘Titanic’ star was accompanied by his 79-year-old father George, stepmother Peggy Farrar and niece Normandie. In the pictures obtained by Daily Mail , DiCaprio, and his niece were also seen lounging and getting tan on the yacht's deck. Normandie looked stunning in a multi-color bikini, with her hair blowing back in the ocean winds. After the relaxing day sunning and swimming, the family departed on their yacht to go on an excursion to visit the famous Blue Grotto Sea Cave Capri. The actor and his family are apparently having quite the time together in Italy.

Who is Normandie?

Normandie is the daughter of DiCaprio's troubled step-brother Adam Farrar, who has had many run-ins with the law. Farrar, who also starred in a few movies, was arrested several times on different criminal charges, including drug possession and violent threats against a girlfriend. In 2014, he and his girlfriend Charity Moore even attempted to abduct Normandie, who was just six-year-old at that time. Following his detention, the Los Angeles Police Department charged Farrar with 'concealing' Normandie out of state.

After being found safe in Texas, Normandie was taken back to California to live with her grandfather George at his home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to Daily Mail. The young woman still lives with her grandparents in the home that DiCaprio reportedly purchased for them. The ‘Wolf of Wall Street' star apparently shares a special bond with Normandie, who is often seen attending his movie premieres. The duo have often been spotted enjoying family outings together. Before the Italy yacht outing, they were most recently seen together at the Lo Scoglio da Tommaso restaurant, feasting on an al fresco lunch, in Naples on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

Is Leonardo DiCaprio back with Gigi Hadid?

The ‘Inception’ star’s latest family outing came just days after Gigi Hadid, 28, and Leonardo enjoyed yet another evening out with his father and stepmother in London. Earlier this month, the Oscar-winning actor and the supermodel were both spotted leaving the Chiltern Firehouse in London. This unexpected meeting came following rumors of a brief romance between the 48-year-old actor and the 28-year-old model earlier this year. However, their relationship reportedly fizzled out quickly, with Leonardo being linked to other women in the following months.

Yachts Charted By Celebrities

Every summer, it’s not uncommon to see A-list celebrities cruising the Mediterranean, in the South of France, Ibiza or the Amalfi Coast. And in winter, celebrities soak up the sun in the Caribbean, in hotspots like St. Barts and the Exumas.

But which yachts do celebrities charter? We’ve counted down nine superyachts that have hosted celebrities. Here’s one commonality: Each yacht is opulent and well-appointed. Celebrities have good taste! These are 7 super yachts chartered by celebrities during the last two charter seasons:

Michael Jordan, O’Pari

Opari

Retired NBA legend Michael Jordan isn’t a stranger to the good life. Since retiring from professional basketball, he’s traveled the world and enjoyed a quieter life.

In 2021, Jordan was spotted cruising the Croatian coast aboard O’Pari. The 311-foot superyacht, built by Golden Yachts in 2020, is well-appointed inside and out. Featuring a wide range of luxury amenities, including an aft deck plunge pool and helipad, O’Pari is an oasis, with a spacious interior layout that includes 14 suites. He recently had a NYE party on TOPAZ, which is the 5th largest superyacht in the world owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Saud.

In summary, Leonardo DiCaprio has been a frequent yacht owner, hosting lavish parties and chartering various yachts over his lifetime. His yacht, TOPAZ, is the 5th largest in the world and is owned by Sheikh Mohammed.

I think it’s funny how these people use yachts, jets, planes, etc. And they want us to give up driving normal cars to switch to electric. How about you do it first and let us know how it goes. One thing i do remember is one of the actors from its always sunny getting locked out of his own car and being extremely upset. Didn’t look like it went so well for him

I always like the characters these actors and actresses play ( and yes it IS actor for a dude and actress for a chick, there is no such word as acter to describe one who acts of either of the two only genders ) better than their actual real selves. I try to avoid hearing anything that any of them have to say ; especially when they lecture us on whatever the latest B.S. is. It ruins the movie.

If he really believed what hes spewing he wouldnt be creating the same emissions as a small town for a whole week in one trip…ALL THE TIME. If they really believed it was as big of an emergency as theyre making it out to be; 1. They wouldnt be contributing to it, and 2. They would be calling out countries like china and india and corporarions that are the main cause for atmospheric issues and pollution in general. 1 trip in a jumbo jet creates the same amount of emissions as a family of 5 for a full year.

People plant trees, bushes, stop doing the stupid zeroscape and the water issues will work themselves out and carbon will reduce as well. Instead we cut down all forests and do no yards as eesult higher carbon and less water. Look at sahara desert once was vegitated it was cut all down and it turned into a dessert. They are slowly revegitating it and the plants cause its own micro climate in which it begins to get more rainfall.

The bleating stopped long ago for the majority. Those less inclined, not so much. Climate change is real: humanity’s contribution is overestimated and always inaccurate, if at all an issue. From Mt. Saint Helens to poor forest management, to forest fire arson, there is accountability, and then there isn’t. ALWAYS strive to #GoGreenWithoutGov.

Oh… my stomach… is tightened with sickness from these mentality ill people. What a set of B on him. Well, this is what money can do to people. These people think their money can be controlled by them when, in reality its the money that controls them, for they will be exposed for the false people they are, and here we see a good example.

My daughter is like in LOVE with Leo. Hes her screen saver and i tell her hes a freaking hypocrit and damn near a child molestor. But hey, Youre at the right age for him and Hes my age! My daughter is 19 BTW and she dont listen to reason. To be fair its only his picks from the 90’s she has a love for but he aint that little boy anymore but on old man that preys on little girls and young women. And then of course his not shutting his mouth with “climate change” when hes worse than 1,000,000 average person in America;

People need to wake up and stop idolizing all of these plastic people. There is no way most of these people can afford this lifestyle by acting, playing music, singing, sports, Royals families, politicians especially, by their works alone! Start adding up the cost of maintaining Mansions, Castles, the grounds, yachts, planes, helicopters, cars, buses, mobile homes, clothing, furniture, maids, butlers, security etc. The people of the world supported many of these entertainers, sports figures, politicians, Royals by buying tickets, merchandise, and paying taxes. I understand they also invest their money to make money. Still I feel with many it has become a Ponzi scheme to get rich and keep the wealth at any cost! We need to open our eyes and follow the paper trails. The working class has been hoodwinked by these Pied Pipers!

Well I limit on any official in which is dealing with policing our civilization I don’t care there’s a musical chairs effect tradition to move from one position to the next or otherwise change the snake head yeah it’s not Yoj seems like the big guys in control in around here sheriff Abdullah was the big guy Jefferson county Ohio and then his son does it take over his seat in office in the populace has live inferior anybody that goes against this agenda is targeted take it easy Benny I enjoy your comic relief and thanks again for sharing you’re entertaining value 2:18
