worst brokerage service ever it's all about you paying them . terrible service as a buyer it's very difficult to schedule seeing a boat and as a seller they will pursue money from you even after you cancel the contract I buy about 1 or 2 boats a year and when browsing if I see pop representing it I just keep looking knowing the aggravation will not be worth the time invested

I don't normally write reviews bu Victor from Pop yachts tried to conduct some rather dirty business and it seems like something that should be posted online. As a small business owner I know that not all of your staff will be perfect, but I would hope someone with a director title is safe to do business with. I found a Grady White on pop yachts that was of interest and wanted to learn more. After leaving a voicemail with Victor he called me back roughly 2 hours later from a different number. He said that the boat I was inquiring on was no longer for sale but that he could see if the new owner was interested in selling. A few days later he returned my call again and said that the buyer would indeed be interested in selling to me, as the boat wasn't being used. I discussed pricing with Victor and it sounded like we came to an agreement. Fast forward one more week. I have spent $300 on a plane ticket and was about to book my hotel when an exchange with Victor left me feeling like something wasn't right. I needed to sign an agreement with the buyer and the offer was rather generic looking and came from his personal email address. When I questioned why non of the papers said Pop yachts on them I was told this is normal. I asked someone I know who tried buying from this dealershup in the past and they said their experience was very different. After pushing Victor for more on this he finally explained to me that the deal was not being ran through his bosses but rather something he setup on the side. I was not okay with this. I contacted a dealer because I did not want to do some outside deal with a dirty business man trying to take an extra cut. I walked away from the deal and lost my $300 ticket. In an attempt to make things right and notify Pop yachts I tried calling two other officials on their website and neither person could return my call. Either they know what is going on and dont care or just aren't interested in talking to an unhappy customer. This was a horrible experience where I feel I could have very easily been scammed out of my money if I was not pushing and asking the right questions. This is a review on Pop yachts as a business and a dealership. They failed me from start to finish.

Garbage. Their "We add our commission on top" gimmick is nice in theory but not practical in the real world. Don't be fooled by this marketing ploy. The artificially inflated price deters buyers from making a good offer that they normally would have considered at the regular (non-POP) price. If they do make an offer, POP will still want their commission so the seller is left to take the hit. One other thing they WONT tell you is they don't advertise on YachtWorld. Instead they have their own directory which it trash compared to the reach of listing on YachtWorld. I have dealt with a few POP reps/agents and they are very shady and deceptive.

I bought my used boat through Pop Yachts and the process was fair and the process smooth. There was actually another individual and myself interested in the boat at the same time - Pop Yachts took the appropriate manner of having the interested parties provide our blinded bids/proposals. From a paperwork and process , Pop Yachts made it easy and ensured completeness of titles, etc. It was reassuring that all of the paperwork was done properly and completely. I also want to complement them on representing the boat appropriately - they disclosed information about the boat that was known and fairly represented it. They also had many pictures outlining the boat and it's features. I had looked at a different boat with a private seller (not with Pop Yachts) and it was not represented well and waisted my time. I appreciate the robustness of Pop Yachts and their description. I liked the process and Pop Yachts did a great job.

Hell NO All they want is your deposit and that's where their work stops I wanted to pay straight up but they wanted money sent to bunch of questionable places first. Just don't trust them

I enlisted the services of POP RV and couldn't be more pleased with the support across the board I received...from Kim T. My sales team, to the closing team, all aspects of marketing, sales and closing went flawlessly. Both myself and the new buyer are 100% satisfied. They don't fluff what you want to sell, and do their due diligence. If you want to sell quickly at a mutually agreed price, this iscthe only way to go...total turn-key.

The crew at POP yachts is incompetent at best. DO NOT BUY A BOAT ASSOCIATED WITH POP YACHTS. As soon as you send the down payment (typically 10% of sale price) that money is gone. That is the commission to POP Yachts and you will be hard pressed to get it back for any reason. What they dont know is I got in contact with the seller halfway through the sale and brokered the entire deal myself. They deserve none of the money the collected on this sale. This will be a in depth review so POP Yachts and everyone who wants to know can see how bad they suck. And by the way this was my first boat purchase. The closing agent Ana Valdez was nice but she had no idea what she was doing and took forever (days) to get back to anyone. This boat was about 15 hours away from me so I would have had to make a 2 day trip out to pick it up. To start off POP Yachts didn't know whether or not this was a dealer sale or private sale which made things difficult to start with. Ana told me dealer sale I said ok and call my bank to tell them. Then I start collecting info from POP Yachts to give to my bank. On 5/28 I singed papers to buy the boat and wire a 5k down payment (stupid me) to POP Yachts. The closing was set for 6/5. I ask Ana if this is a private sale or dealer sale because my bank needs to know. She says dealer sale. Ok... 6/2 Ana calls to tell me the seller will be out of town the day before I'm supposed to leave. Closing date moves to 6/11. Not that big of a deal. 6/2 Ana still has not removed my dad from the closing documents even though I told her many times on the phone and in the email that he is not associated in the deal in any way. 6/3 Ana calls to ask why my dad hasn't signed any documents. I tell her again because he isn't buying the boat. 6/5 I finally received the buyers documents updated and ready to be signed. And I ask Ana for a copy of the title which should be in POP yachts name because its a dealer sale as she stated. "Oh no we dont have the title" she says. So then I explain to her the difference between the two. 3 days of no calls/emails for both me and the seller. 6/8 I got sellers drivers license that I asked for last week (6/5) to send to my bank for loan info. I still need lots of other documents form Ana who is refusing to give them to me and so I ask her for the sellers Phone number so I can do her job and she refuses that too. 6/8 I found out who the seller was and got his phone number. He is a very nice smart man and he was easy to work with. He told me that he made it clear to Ana before she made the agreement that he would be out of town for the closing agreement about a week (5/28) before she let me know. (Ana claimed that she just found out that day (6/2)). He also said Ana takes about 4 days to get back to him. 6/8 The seller and I decide we will not go through POP Yachts because I still have a mountain of documents to collect (sellers titles, his wife's death certificates because she is on the title, sign and mail a bill of sale from my bank to him and back because my bank will only write a check to whoever is on the title of the boat and not POP Yachts thank god) and get before closing in 3 days. 6/8 The seller calls his agent to say he wants to take his boat off the market and not sell it. (which is a lie and I know its wrong but the incompetence was going to ensure this deal never happened. The Agent who I believe is Jim Munnell says there is no way to back out of the deal and threatens legal action against the seller should he back out (They already have my 5k wire transfer and do not want to let it go). He calls me back and says that he can't get out of the deal. From now until the closing I am calling my bank setting up bill of sale documents acquiring the copies of the titles which Ana would not give up to trailer and boat so my bank can verify the seller. Also acquiring his wife's death certificate and he was kind enough to include his will also for my bank to see. 6/10 I ask Ana after finally getting her on the phone if she needs any more documents from me to close and she says no but she does need a payment of $389 for closing costs. I think I actually laughed into the phone. I told her I wasn't going to pay it and they can take it out of the 5k of mine they already have. 6/11 I get a call from a closing manager who's name I dont remember. His Phone number ends in 7355 for POP Yachts to find him by. He understands I have been asking for a manager since 6/8 because Im not happy with the service and not willing to pay the $389. I explain the situation and he agrees I have several legitimate complaints. He then tells me they feel like they have earned the $389 because seller tried to back out of the deal and they got him to barley stay with it and they JUST found out his wife had passed and she is on the title. I said cool I'm about 3 days ahead of you. He hung up.

They seem to be to busy to even return emails! I was looking to purchase a boat and the representative was very responsive. Unfortunately, the boat had issues which seemed to be left out of the info so waisted a day traveling to see a boat that was more of a project than it was worth. Tried to sell my boat with them and they published an add that was embarrassing. Over two weeks have passed and the add still is not finished. Save your self the time and frustration, shop local!

Kenneth was great and kept me informed on any potential buyers. He was very personable on the water trial run and Tony was also great to work with. Overall my experience was great.

Pop Yacht was very bad about returning calls from buyer and from seller. We listed our boat for sale prior to listing with Pop using social media and other boat marketing tools online. Per our conversation and also on our contract with Pop, SELLER MAY SALE BY OWNER. We sold by owner prior to getting an offer from Pop. The offer through Pop was not a for sure sale as the buyer had not seen nor had the boat inspected and would not be able to do so for weeks, but yet Pop considered the buyers contract to be legit and was VERY angry we did not agree to sell to their buyer. MONTHS later they retaliated and brought a law suit to us for "lost commission". Pop is very bullyish and unprofessional. After reading all the other reviews online on numerous review sites including BBB Better Business Bureau, I can see they have been at this and use their bully ways then hide behind attorneys to continue to harass RV and boat owners for lost commission, even after their bad business dealings being known across the internet. Appears to be no business sense, but only greedy - money hungry devourers with no limits. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO ALL YOUR BOAT AND RV FRIENDS!!!! I would like to see this company suffer a class action lawsuit. Maybe I'll check into this.

There's a reason this company has so poor ratings. The process to purchase a vessel is a joke. Interested in this boat? Put in an offer and then go look at it? But don't worry, the offer is non-binding. Then why require an offer? The communication we received was full of contradictions. The boat is unavailable as it is under contract. But three days later it is available but can't be shown? I would never purchase a vessel from POP Yachts. Go direct, get around them whatever it takes. I've purchased several aircraft at substantially more money than boats without the kind of sham process this company requires.

I bought a travel trailer through POPs RV and the whole process was very easy and professional. They were very good at communicating every step of the way and the closing process was smooth and effortless. I highly recommend POPS!

The entire staff did a great job working with me on the purchase of my first boat. Salesman answered every question in a timely manner. Captain that went on trial run did a great job presenting the boat and again answering every question. Paper work was completed in a very timely manner. Very friendly team. Everyone did their job. Could contact them way pass the 9-5 normal people. The Team at Pop Yachts is very professional. They let me choose the boat I wanted and everything else they made easy.

After one year listed my boats for this company I couldn't sell my boat. The sells man was not expert. Dont waste your time.

We were attempting to sell our Class B+/C motorhome on our own through social media sites with several lookers and no really serious buyers. We went with Pops RVs and immediately felt like we had made a great choice. From the initial contact thru to the closing we had outstanding team members to guide us through each step until the Motorhome was sold and closed on two months later. We can't say enough positive things about the whole experience. Thanks POPs team for promptly selling our Motorhome in a short period of time. We would recommend this team to anyone wanting to sell their RV.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH POP YACHTS! They are dishonest people who take advantage of their clients! I hired Pop Yachts to sell my boat. I paid them nice commissions and my understanding was that they are representing me i.e. working in my best interest; I also disclosed to them that I needed the boat sold immediately. I later found out from the buyer that they told him to low ball me on the price; they were suppose to present my bottom line, NOT to suggest to the buyer to further LOW BALL me!. I complained to Pop Yacht and gave them the chance twice to address this unfortunate situation through 2 different people in the organization where I got BS stories and all kind of explanations that did not address my issue with their unethical/deceitful malpractice in my case. I will never work with Pop Yacht ever again as they are not to be trusted! Ronen Sigura

Sold my RV after it was listed on site for price I wanted. I had plenty of referrals come and look at vehicle due to POP RV. They list on largest website and my buyer flew from New Mexico and drove it away in California. Pop was available for any questions throughout the process. It was a bit unsettling to send title in the mail, but they are legit and useful. If you want to sell your RV or any other item (boat or even house) I'd trust them to get the job done in a professional manner. They have extensive friendly staff that was well versed @ the type of vehicle I had and will look for them next time I buy a vehicle.

I sold my RV Trailer through Pop Yacht and RV and had a great experience through the entire process. Scot S did a great job of taking some 100 photos and posting them on their web site. It drew the person who purchased our trailer. He looked at it on a Thursday and it closed on Friday along with the transfer of funds. Lauri C handled the closing, and she knew her stuff. I can highly recommend POP for the selling of your Yacht of RV. All was good.

I've been TRYING to purchase through Pop Yachts since August 27th! I've been re-assigned 3 closing agents, 1 director of closing, 2 boat brokers, ............ we WERE supposed to close on Thurs the 13th (ie. "today" before Midnight) It is almost like they just DO NOT WANT to make a sale nor do they act like the know how to sell anything. They have come up with every excuse in the book as to why *I* am more concerned with getting the ball rolling/us-going with each step than they are..... to my knowledge, the ONLY thing that they have done thus far, is presented my offer to the seller/owner (who accepted), drafted a tentative agreement, and now playing Pass-The-Buck Email-style!!!!!!!! I am trying to find boats NOT listed with Pop Yachts at this point!!!!! #SoFrustrated They are SUPER TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!
