New 59m Logica hits the water in Italy
Italian shipyard Logica Yachts has technically launched its hotly anticipated 59-metre Logica 59 at its Viareggio shipyard.
First revealed in 2019, the 920 GT motor yacht features exteriors and interior from Acube Design with interior styling in collaboration with Martin Kemp Design . She is the first launch from the shipyard since the 44.8-metre Logica 147, now named Forever , hit the water in 2014.
The new Logica has a more traditional look than its sister with a plumb bow, long bowsprit and a low profile. The design studio has described the lines as "timeless", with "clean and simple surfaces in order to get elegant and sinuous appearance". Alice Rolla, designer at Acube said: "When the yacht came out from the shipyard we really liked the visual impact and we thought to have succeeded our aim."
Exterior highlights include a sundeck fitted with folding glass doors that allow the space to function as a winter garden. Elsewhere, the Logica 59 also has a generous beach club with a sauna, bar and lounge space, with direct access to the water from the swim platform.
On the interior, the yacht has a "cosy but luxurious" theme with plenty of natural light and organic shapes.
The yacht has a five-cabin layout with a forward-facing owner's cabin that comes complete with an office, walk-in wardrobes, gym area and private deck with a Jacuzzi. The remaining cabins can be found on the lower deck, and Acube has called them the "most spacious in its category".
The superyacht is currently in the final stages of outfitting and delivery is expected this summer.

LOGICA YACHTS imagined a navetta-style vessel that was comfortable, quiet and light-filled with a rational distribution of available space — a boat designed to make the most of everything the Med has to offer.

Logica had to be as beautiful as a sailboat of equivalent length, but as roomy and comfortable as three of them. Derived from Brenta Yacht Design studio’s renowned work in sailboat design, the idea behind the yacht’s elegant exterior styling was to import the culture and values of Mediterranean sailing into the world of displacement cruising. She appeals to owners who are genuinely passionate about yachting and the sea.

The design brief for luxury yacht MY LOGICA (Logica 147) called for a different set of criteria: comfort rather than top-speed performance and the romance of classic design combined with contemporary appeal. At the same time, the exterior form had to be as much an expression of its function as it would for a sailing yacht.

The yacht is constructed with steel and aluminum. it has a slim tri-deck design, a low-slung superstructure and large windows. The client requested a fifth cabin, which was accommodated by the builder’s flexible approach. All cabins are on the lower deck, and crew quarters are forward on the main deck.
Logica 101 has been designed by Luca Brenta Design. It Accommodates up to 12 guests and 6 crew members, including the captain. Constructed with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Powered by 2 MAN engines; top speed of 13.8 kn. Carries 34,500 liters of fuel on board.
It was decided to go for a refined, sober style. Precious materials were used in the decor. For the floors and furniture, Canaletto walnut was used. All the bathrooms were clad with marble.
Top performer, a motor yacht in the 30-35m category, has surpassed the average volume of similar-sized motor yachts by 0.76 GT.

LOGICA 59, a 59.0 m Motor Yacht built in Italy and delivered in 2024, is the flagship of Logica Yachts. She is the only Logica 59 model. Her top speed is 18.0 kn, her cruising speed is 16.0 kn, and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 6000.0 nm at 10.0 kn, with power coming from three MAN diesel engines. She has a gross tonnage of 920.0 GT.
