When Peter Dusting approached Hick Marine to design and build his new boat, he had firm ideas on what he wanted out of the project. The final configuration was a 39 footer with a displacement of 5.5 tonne, cast iron keel and lead bulb. Whale Spars provided a double spreader aluminium rig and Doyle's Col Anderson made the sails.
