Luxury superyacht Vertige from the S501 projects is a striking 50m (164') full displacement vessel, built by the Italian shipyard in 2017, Tankoa Yachts. Boasting a perfectly balanced and fluid timeless design, motor yacht Tankoa S501 Vertige has been superbly penned by multi-award winning Francesco Paszkowski, with naval architecture by Massimo Visibelli. In spring 2023 the yacht will get a full paint job and the interior will also be renewed.

The interior living is generously laid out over three spacious decks. Her main deck offers a large salon area with formal dining forward. The luxurious Master stateroom and VIP cabins are forward of the salon and dining. An upper deck offers a sky lounge aft and the bridge forward. Tankoa superyacht Vertige provides deluxe accommodation in six cabins, including the main deck full-beam master and VIP suite, as well as four lower deck cabins for up to 12 charter guests. Also, there is a gym, home cinema, a 7-metre tender garage, as well as floor to ceiling windows and hydraulic balconies in the master cabin and on the aft deck.

Her decks are exceptionally well-appointed over three levels, with ample areas for entertaining and relaxing. The main deck aft has an alfresco dining table, wet bar, fabulous sun pad seating area and partial shade, from here guests can easily access the swim platform and fold out the teak beach. Her upper deck is adjacent to the sky lounge, offering a further alfresco dining space and seating. Side decks lead forward to an additional seating area on the foredeck. With the intention to create visual continuity with the sea, her 1950s style interior incorporates large windows with opening terraces. The Owner’s passion for wine is showcased through the floor to ceiling illuminated wine cellar, home to 300 of the finest wines including Vertige, where the yacht got her name. Her guest-friendly layout offers luxury accommodation for 12 guests in a full beam Owner’s suite with study, walk-in wardrobe, magnificent ensuite and foldout balconies; a VIP stateroom; three doubles and one convertible twin. Large comfortable outdoor spaces are in abundance with al fresco dining for 14 on the upper aft deck, an outdoor cinema with hidden speakers and an impressive swim platform with access to an onboard gym. Up on the generous sun deck, take a dip in the spa pool, bathe on the sun loungers, enjoy an al fresco lunch or sip cocktails at the bar.

Walking the incomparable 50m/134ft motor yacht VERTIGE at the Monaco Yacht Show, the team at YachtCharterFleet got up close and personal to the latest award-winner to join the charter fleet.

Joining in on her official debut, the editorial team learned everything there is to know about the brand new delivery from Tankoa Yachts.

Bursting onto the superyacht scene earlier this year, VERTIGE quickly earned a reputation for herself as she spent her first summer around the hotspots of the Mediterranean .

What's more, she won an award for ‘Best Exterior 38m-50m’ at the World Yacht Trophies 2017 and landed a debut at the Monaco Yacht Show later in the same month.

Stepping on board following her highly anticipated unveiling, it became immediately apparent why VERTIGE is such an exceptional motor yacht for charter purposes.

Exuding an inviting calm, the main salon of luxury yacht VERTIGE abounds in neutral tones and textures, and is furnished with a range of large sofas and a separate dining area.

Working closely with Francesco Paszkowski, the Italian designer responsible for both the interior and exterior of VERTIGE, the owner reportedly insisted on having ‘permanent visual contact with the ocean’.

The fulfilment of this ambitious brief is evident in the floor-to-ceiling windows which run along the port and starboard sides, allowing guests to look out across the water whilst enjoying plenty of natural light. What's more, the bulkwarks on the exterior have had sections removed in order to provide even greater access to views of the water.

Creating the perfect environment to socialise and unwind in, the main salon is undoubtedly the place to be once the warmth has left the exterior.

Indeed, with a large television screen, ample seating, and even a games table, parties can gather here to reflect on their day or simply enjoy each other’s company.

Though families and friends may find themselves enjoying most of their meals al fresco, the formal dining area is perfect for special occasions or a change of scenery.

The sparing use of colour used throughout both the communal and guest spaces also means that there is a cozy atmosphere which is at the same time made to feel highly spacious.

A suitably seductive alternative to the main salon, the sky lounge features its very own full-size bar and can be transformed into an intimate home cinema to keep everyone entertained with the latest blockbusters.

Aligned with the brief of non-stop ocean views, the sky lounge is flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows which can be obscured to enhance the movie watching experience.

Like the lounging area below, this space also benefits from ample seating and informal coffee tables so that guests can relax in style whilst taking in views of the ocean.

Unquestionably the most attractive aspect of the guest accommodation, the master suite boasts its very own retractable balconies to board and starboard.

Forming a seamless connection between the superyacht and the ocean, these balconies are the ideal spot for the principal charter guest to enjoy a morning coffee as well as an evening cocktail.

Besides this revolutionary addition, the master suite also includes its very own lounging space which allows the occupant to kick back in privacy whenever they desire.

Ultimately,with his and hers en-suite facilities and a generously proportioned walk-in closet, guests staying in this suite are handsomely provided for.

Making her particularly appealing to groups or multiple families, superyacht VERTIGE features an extra master cabin on the main deck.

An impressive feat for a superyacht of her size, this unusual cabin configuration has never been seen on a vessel measuring 50m before.

Of course, the implications of this are that more guests can enjoy a similar quality of stateroom whilst away on a private yacht charter vacation .

Luxury superyacht VERTIGE from the S501 projects is a striking 50m full displacement vessel, built by the Italian shipyard in 2017, Tankoa Yachts. Boasting a perfectly balanced and fluid timeless design, motor yacht Tankoa S501 VERTIGE has been superbly penned by multi-award winning Francesco Paszkowski, with naval architecture by Massimo Visibelli.

The interior of luxury yacht VERTIGE offers an air of classic refinement. Teak furnishings and cream and beige colors harmoniously combine to create an at-home feel. The main deck salon is spacious and airy with floor to ceiling windows, a large U-shaped sofa and a formal dining table suitable for 12 guests.

Superyacht VERTIGE ‘s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in six staterooms. Full-beam master and VIP suites are located on the main deck forward. The VIP has an en-suite bathroom and large wardrobe. Along the corridor, toward the master, the yacht features a beautiful wine cellar. The master suite offers an en-suite bathroom, as well as two hydraulic balconies, which can be fully opened to provide stunning views or partially opened at the top to allow fresh air to fill the space. The remaining three double and one twin staterooms are all located on the lower deck.

The decks of charter yacht VERTIGE are exceptionally well-appointed across three levels; they provide exceptional space for relaxation or socializing. The alfresco space aft of the main deck offers outdoor dining options, a fabulous sunpad lounge area, a wet bar and it can be completely shaded. This deck offers access to the fold-out teak beach and swim platform. Adjacent to the skylounge, the upper deck of VERTIGE has more alfresco dining and seating options. Luxury yacht VERTIGE also has extra seating available on her foredeck.

A favorite spot of guests, the sundeck offers a Jacuzzi, wet bar with seating, sun loungers and alfresco dining table. The yacht also features a garage side deck that allows guests to access water toys without disrupting those on the fold-out beach club.

VERTIGE is an extremely spacious and comfortable yacht: her Zero Speed stabilizers provide complete steadiness while at anchor, especially in rough weather.

VERTIGE superyacht, the 49.90m motor yacht built in 2017 by the Italian Shipyard Tankoa Yachts. The “Best Interior 38m-50” award winner during the World Yacht Trophies 2017 meanwhile is a highly reputated charter yacht of her own class. The Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski was responsible for her exceptional exterior features as well as for her amazing interior layout and fulfilled the owner’s expectation to have “a permanent visual contact with the ocean”.

The exterior is characterized by the yacht’s floor-to-ceiling main deck and sky lounge windows, her two retractable balconies in the master suite, a 3m long, retractable terrace in the aft and her beach club. VERTIGE’s amazing interior in natural and bleached teak and dark polished rosewood boasts a warm colour and texture scheme, creating a calm atmosphere and sophisticated style.

Vertige  aka s501 - a 50m motor yacht by italian shipyard  tankoa yachts..

This yacht’s exterior lines come from the boards of  Francesco Paszkowski from Italy. The studio designed also the interior together with Margherita Casprini .

Euro Contenti, CEO of Tankoa declared:

“ despite the impressive background and success track records of the entire Tankoa management, we are extremely proud that the client, his surveyor, and broker, Daniel Bussani from Aquila Yachting, decided Tankoa was the most suitable shipyard to built his new yacht after investigating a number of European builders”.

The displacement yacht with a GRT of under 500 has a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots. The yacht reached the contracted top speed of 16 knots at half load during her sea trials.

Edoardo Ratto, General Manager of Tankoa Yachts, commented:

“The first sea trials, which lasted about eight hours, were simply incredible. Vertige reached a top speed of 16.5 knots at 60% load (about 33,000 liters of fuel and more than 20,000 liters of water). S501 has a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, which really makes a difference when going for Atlantic crossings. There was no vibration at all and the decibel readings were inferior to contracted levels – in the owner’s suite and Vip cabin, levels were below 50 decibels” .

The Owner’s suite and a VIP suite of Vertige are on the main deck. The owner’s suite has two lateral foldout terraces. Two another VIP and two guest cabins are on the lower deck. The main saloon has state-of-the-art floor to ceiling windows with lowerable bulwarks. The aft deck area of the main deck has also 3-meter long foldout terraces.

The upper deck is a great socializing area. There is a dining area for up to 16 people and wrap-around sofa for up to 20 people with a foldable TV screen. A 7-meter tender can be stored in a garage on the lower deck, another place for toys or a smaller tender is in front of the bridge.

“… I followed the construction of the first delivered Tankoa Yacht, the 69,30 meter Suerte. This was a very large yacht for a first, but it was backed up by the limitless experience of Tankoa’s managers and technical office. This being said, it was a challenging experience as we were working with a very tight contractual delivery schedule. With S501, the shipyard has greatly improved their time schedule management and operation processes and they truly have a Teutonic approach that often leaves me speechless for an Italian builder. I can say, after having supervised the construction of many yachts worldwide, not only the work pace and productivity at Tankoa are superiors but it is also probably the first time I see a yacht that size where the production schedule is fully respected without altering the incredible flexibility Tankoa starts being known for .”

VERTIGE is the ultimate party yacht that puts socialising at its core, offering the ultimate charter for people who love entertaining.

This 50-metre luxury superyacht was designed to meet an exacting brief from the VERTIGE yacht owner, which was to create a yacht where people could enjoy wine, music, and being with each other.

Interior Design & Engineering

The interiors of the VERTIGE yacht were designed by Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini and exude a cool, calm atmosphere. The result is a modern interpretation of the 1950s, with lots of large windows helping to create a visual continuity with the sea.

Your VERTIGE yacht charter can accommodate up to 12 guests across six cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite boasts a dressing table, a generous en suite with a spa shower and his ‘n’ hers basins, and a walk-in wardrobe. Most impressively, it has fold-out balconies on either side.

The VIP cabin, equipped with a 55-inch television and an onyx-lined ensuite , lies beside it on the main deck. The rest of the party will sleep below, across three doubles and a convertible twin.

Yacht Facilities & Entertainment

One of the more unusual features of the VERTIGE motor yacht is her illuminated floor-to-ceiling wine cellar, where 300 bottles of fine wine are showcased along the wall of the corridor that leads to the VIP cabin.

The upper deck houses a relaxation area, where you can head for more a more placid atmosphere while taking in the exceptional views. You’ll find U-shaped seating, a sit-up bar and a giant television for cosy movie nights.

When you want to relax, you can head out to the main deck. It’s home to an oversized U-shaped sofa that overlooks the stern, with giant day beds nested aft and a sit-up bar amidship.

The sun deck is wrapped in glass to give you unobstructed views while protecting you from the sea breeze. It’s the ultimate spot to enjoy a sundowner, but you’ll also find a spa pool, sun loungers and a bar with a sound system up there.

When it comes to dining, you’ll find a formal dining room that seats 10 in the main salon, while there’s alfresco dining for 14 on the upper deck.

You can stay active on the VERTIGE yacht by making full use of the onboard gym. It’s equipped with TechnoGym gear and has direct access to the swim platform if you want to dive into the blue and cool down when you’re finished.

Toys & Crew

A crew of nine will be on-hand to ensure your VERTIGE yacht charter is exceptional.

You’ll be able to enjoy hours of fun on the water thanks to her extensive collection of water toys. You can race across the waves on the wave runners, water skis, and wakeboard or paddle more gently across them with the SUPs and kayaks. You can also take turns on the towable inflatables—or simply float about in the inflatable ocean pool.

When you want to head ashore, multiple tenders—including a 14-person limousine tender—will be waiting to transport you in style.
