Pure in beauty and timeless allure,

these volcanic islands have the kind of rugged, unaltered magnetism that is increasingly scarce, and are home to endemic species found nowhere else on Earth. For wildlife enthusiasts, there is no greater pilgrimage than a trip to the place that inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution and formulated in “Origin of Species”.

From the bow of your luxury expedition vessel, search the coastline for bottlenose dolphins. and if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, snorkel alongside the playful sea lions during an outing on your yacht..

You’ll see plenty of creatures during your tour of the Galápagos, including green sea turtles and —during a pilgrimage to the island of Isabela— the famed giant tortoises. Try and match their leisurely pace as these prehistoric reptiles mosey across the island.

Galapagos Yacht Charter - Aerial of Bartolome Island, Galapagos

A corner of the world that time forgot, the Galápagos is the ultimate cruising ground for a nature-loving charterer – visit the islands and step ashore for the ultimate natural high.

Reveling in isolation 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, the Galápagos archipelago comprises 12 major islands and a handful of smaller islets, each displaying its unique flora, fauna, and rare animal species. Forever associated with Darwin, the Galápagos Islands are a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. The islands are highly protected, and the number of yachts able to cruise these waters annually is limited. Itineraries are also provided by the Parque Nacional Galápagos, the governing body of the islands, advising where yachts can cruise and where guests can explore.

Discover the Galápagos: An Unforgettable Yacht Charter Adventure

An eco-haven off the coast of South America, the Galápagos Islands are a pocket of the world that time forgot. The cruising grounds, made up of 12 main islands and hundreds of islets, offer Galápagos private cruises and Galápagos charters that are a dream for nature enthusiasts. The Galápagos National Park and its endemic species provide a unique backdrop for private yacht charters, where discerning travelers can explore exotic destinations with private balconies, panoramic windows, and sun decks.

What is the right length of time for a yacht safari? One of the biggest mistakes travelers make when visiting the Galapagos is simply not leaving enough time to experience the islands to the fullest. We’ve crafted a just-right 8 day/7 night and 14 day/15 night itinerary options to maximize your time for exploration, breathtaking wildlife encounters, and optimal relaxation.

8 Days / 7 Nights Itineraries Over the course of 30+ years of Galapagos experience, Quasar has crafted two 7 night/ 8 day itineraries of equal quality in terms of site visitations, expedition activities, scenery, and wildlife encounters. Join us for a week of discovery through the lens of Darwin.

15 Days / 14 Nights Itinerary For those time-privileged travelers seeking deeper Galapagos immersion, we offer a 14 day/15 night itinerary. This expedition covers the entire archipelago, ensuring no experience is left a mystery. Guests enjoy a higher chance of encountering the rare species that inspired Darwin’s brilliant works.

In 2012, Galapagos National Park began requiring all cruise organizations to wait two weeks before visiting the same landing site. This regulation was introduced to disperse boats more evenly and lighten the environmental load for the Park’s 80+ visitor sites, and resulted in 2-3 cruise itineraries for every ship in Galapagos.

One of our Galapagos experts will happily offer itinerary guidance and answer questions about the journeys we offer.

How to Get To Galapagos

International Flight Route Durations to Galapagos Islands

Travel to the enchanted islands from any part of the world by air, with a quick hop from mainland Ecuador to the Galapagos Islands. From flight coordination to tailoring your itinerary, our Expedition Designers do it all.

Is there a flight directly to Galapagos? There are no direct international flights to Galapagos. To reach the islands, you must first arrive in mainland Ecuador (either Quito or Guayaquil), then take a quick flight directly to your Galapagos cruise port.

How much does a ticket cost from Quito or Guayaquil to Galapagos? The extra roundtrip plane ticket from Ecuador’s mainland cities of Quito or Guayaquil to Galapagos averages US$ 450-500. This tier of tickets allows for changes and includes one checked bag. Domestic air tickets to Galapagos are typically not included with Quasar's Galapagos cruises, however, we are happy to help you arrange this flight in conjunction with your selected yacht safari.

How far in advance should you book your flight to the Galapagos or South America? Unlike other destinations, airlines that fly to Galapagos do not apply the typical dynamic pricing conditions. Therefore, the “golden rule” of booking flights between 40 and 50 days prior to your cruise does not always apply. Because flights to the islands are limited, the peak time to buy your ticket to Galapagos is as soon as your island accommodations are booked (cruise or hotel).

Top 10 Galapagos FAQs Asked by First-Time Travelers

1. what is the best way to see the galapagos islands cruises or hotel.

Over 97% of the Galapagos archipelago is a national park, completely off limits to human establishments. Only 3% of the islands are human-inhabited, where hotels are allowed to be built. Therefore, the only way to access the majority of the visitor sites is on a cruise throughout the entire archipelago.

If you are considering a hotel-based visit, one major problem you’ll face is how to access the Galapagos National Park. There are roughly 70 terrestrial and 70 marine visitor sites throughout the national park where travelers are permitted. Only a handful of these landing sites are accessible from the hotels by day boat, usually at additional cost.

Hotels throughout Galapagos compete for spaces on day boats that take visitors to landing sites. If you are lucky enough to get a seat, landing site rides can then be 2.5 hours each way with a high possibility of getting seasick.

When it’s finally time for your Galapagos trip, the last thing you want is for your experience to be limited and your national park access restricted. While hotel stays are a wonderful way to relax before or after your journey, cruise boats have the edge when it comes to exploring the islands. Think of a yacht safari as an exclusive floating luxury hotel, complete with off-the-beaten-path adventure activities, rare wildlife encounters, personalized itineraries, and access to the authentic, uninhabited side of the islands. Learn more here - What's the best way to see the Galapagos Islands?

2. WHICH CRUISE LINES GO TO THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS?

Starting in 2010 when restrictions on non-local ships were lifted, larger international cruise lines started to gain interest in Galapagos. Organizations like Celebrity, Silversea, Disney and Hurtigruten now offer cruises in the archipelago. All of these major cruise lines operate 100 passenger ships, which is the largest ship size permitted in the Galapagos National Park and the Galapagos Marine Reserve.

If you have cruised with a major cruise line before, 100 passengers may sound like a very small number. However, in Galapagos, these ships are the equivalent of the 1,000 passenger ships in other popular cruising destinations.

To get the top experience in the Galapagos, we highly recommend choosing Galapagos luxury yachts with 36 passengers or less. With much smaller tour groups, flexible itineraries, and dedicated naturalist guides, yacht safaris allow you to experience Galapagos away from the crowds. Learn more here - Which Cruise Lines go to the Galapagos Islands?

3. WHERE DO GALAPAGOS CRUISES LEAVE FROM?

Galapagos cruises depart from 3 places within the archipelago: Baltra Island, the port town of Puerto Ayora (on Santa Cruz Island), and the port town of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno (on San Cristobal Island). No Galapagos cruises leave from mainland Ecuador. Your adventure begins with an easy domestic flight from Quito or Guayaquil to the Galapagos.

Guests traveling with Quasar will not need to worry about the logistics of getting to the Galapagos and to your cruise departure port. We will make all the arrangements for you, from the moment you land in mainland Ecuador until the moment you depart from your lifetime adventure. Learn more here - Where do Galapagos Cruises leave from?

4. HOW MUCH DOES A GALAPAGOS CRUISE COST?

We often get asked what the cost of a Galapagos Islands cruise is. The answer depends on the type of accommodations and experiences you are seeking.

Use the general guidelines below to book the premier Galapagos luxury cruise to fit your budget. Keep a lookout—Galapagos cruise offers are available from time to time, especially if you have a flexible travel timeline.

Budget Cruises: In terms of accommodations, these cruises are the equivalent of 1 and 2 star hotels. Budget cruises can cost between $250-$430 dollars per person, per day. A week-long budget Galapagos cruise can cost between $1,800-$3,000 per person.

Tourist Superior Cruises: Cruises in this category are the equivalent of a 3 star hotel and can cost between $450-$600 per person, per day. A week-long tourist superior cruise can cost between $3,100-$4,200 per person.

First Class Cruises: First class cruises are the equivalent of a 4 star hotel and can cost between $610-$780 per person, per day. A week-long first class cruise can cost between $4,300-$5,500 per person.

Luxury Cruises: These cruises are the equivalent of a 5 star hotel in terms of accommodations, service, excursions, cultural immersion, and expert naturalist guides. Luxury cruises in Galapagos can cost between $800-$1,700 per person for the day, depending on the suite category you choose. A week-long Galapagos luxury cruise can cost between $6,000-$12,000 dollars per person and typically deliver the highest overall value to travelers.

Extras: It’s important to factor in additional costs like alcoholic beverages, laundry, souvenirs, and gratuities for Guides and crew. Learn more here - How much does a Galapagos cruise cost?

5. ARE GALAPAGOS CRUISES WORTH IT?

Simply put, absolutely! Galapagos is a one-of-a-kind destination that most travelers, and especially wildlife enthusiasts, have on their bucket lists. There’s no other place on earth where you can safely get up close to wild animals in their natural habitats.

There are over 40 national park landing sites throughout the islands where travelers are permitted to go ashore, enjoy adventure activities, and interact with the rare species that inspired Darwin’s revolutionary research. Over 70% of these landing sites are not accessible when staying in a hotel. A safari-style Galapagos luxury cruise guarantees an immersive adventure that follows in Darwin’s footsteps. Learn more here - Are Galapagos Cruises Worth It?

6. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET FROM ECUADOR TO GALAPAGOS?

To get to the Galapagos Islands you must take a domestic flight from the cities of Guayaquil (airport code GYE), Manta (airport code MEC) or Quito (airport code UIO) in mainland Ecuador. All three cities offer direct flights to the Galapagos, although only Quito and Guayaquil currently offer them daily.

Direct flights from the cities of Guayaquil and Manta to Galapagos take between 1 hour and 45 minutes to up to 2 hours (depending on wind and weather conditions). Direct flights from Quito to Galapagos take about 2 hours and 20 minutes. However, it is worth noting that there are normally only 1 to 2 direct flights to the Islands per day from Quito, while there are about 6 to 8 flights to the Islands with a brief stopover in Guayaquil. Flying to Galapagos via Guayaquil is the most common way to get to the Islands when flying from Quito. These flights take around 3 hours 30 min to 3 hours 50 minutes, depending on the airline you choose and the length of the stop in Guayaquil. Stopovers in Guayaquil are normally not long (40 to 50 minutes) and you are not required to disembark the plane while the airplane refuels and the passengers from Guayaquil board. To learn more - How long does it take to get from Ecuador to Galapagos

7. ARE THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS SAFE FOR TRAVEL?

Galapagos is arguably one of the safest and most magical destinations in the world. Crime is basically nonexistent in the islands, but there are some basic precautions that all Galapagos travelers must take, especially when visiting mainland Ecuador. Everyone who visits Galapagos must spend at least a day in the mainland, at one of Ecuador’s main cities. And just like any large city around the world, there are some basic precautions you must take. Please refer to our detailed article ' Is it Safe to Travel to the Galapagos Islands? ' for necessary precautions for a pleasant stay in both Ecuador and the Galapagos.

Some Galapagos luxury cruise companies, including Quasar’s Evolution yacht, are equipped with an infirmary and a doctor on board for the added safety of its guests. Our crew and Guides are trained in safety protocols. In the event of an emergency, while rare, there are swift, safe medical evacuation options.

8. WHAT IS THE BEST MONTH TO VISIT THE GALAPAGOS?

For anyone interested in visiting the Galapagos, there is really no better or worse month to visit the Islands. In part this is because the Galapagos archipelago is right on the equator; therefore air and water temperatures do not vary much throughout the year. In addition, almost all of the animal species in Galapagos do not migrate, which means you can see them any time of the year. The Waved Albatross is one of the few migratory exceptions and is best seen in spring and summer. For a detailed month by month depiction of Galapagos travel in terms of weather, water temperatures and animal encounters, please visit our page of When to Visit the Galapagos Islands .

However, there is a high season for tourism in Galapagos which tends to be from mid-December to January and from June to August. This coincides with the general holidays and vacation months of the northern hemisphere and doesn’t have anything to do with weather or animal migration patterns in Galapagos. High and Low seasons are solely based on the travel trends of the Galapagos’ main market, North America, which represents about 60% of its international travelers. So, if you want to avoid the crowds in Galapagos, and perhaps even take advantage of a nice discount, travel in ‘the secret season’ which is from September through early December.

9. HOW TO GET TO THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS?

Unless you already live in Ecuador, making your way to the Galapagos is going to be a multi-leg travel event. You’ll have to take an international flight to get to Ecuador, and then you’ll need to take a domestic flight out to the islands. There are a few important things to remember when trying to get to Galapagos:

- There are no international flights to Galapagos. - The only way to get to the Islands is by air. - Make sure you are flying to the right island in Galapagos. - Don’t book your flights before you have booked your cruise or hotel stay. - Leave some buffer time between your international and domestic flights.

For a detailed step by step guide, be sure to visit our page on How to Get to the Galapagos Islands .

10. WHAT IS THE BEST GALAPAGOS ITINERARY & LOOP?

Galapagos cruise itineraries are often referred to as 'loops' due to the circular routes the ships take around the archipelago. Therefore, whether a company calls their offerings 'itineraries' or 'loops,' they are talking about the same concept.

We are pleased to report that selecting an exceptional Galapagos itinerary is straightforward as long as you are familiar with the destination and the regulations of the Galapagos National Park. Our in-depth article, ' Galapagos Cruise Itineraries & Loops Explained: Which One is Best? ' provides a comprehensive understanding of the distribution of the Galapagos Archipelago, the workings of the Galapagos National Park regulations, and the reasons why cruise companies have various ways of dividing their 15-day cruise routes into shorter 4, 5, and 8-day options.

NATURAL PARADISE CRUISE REVIEWS

Cruise rating: 4.6 /5 - 9 customer reviews

Gabriela, Hope this finds you well and getting ready for the Holidays. We had a terrific trip! The islands were lovely, the weather quite good, with only 1 rainy day, and excellent snorkeling. The Natural Paradise was a gorgeous Yacht and the staff was exceptional. Karina, our on-board naturalist provided wonderful briefings and was an excellent guide both on our hikes and while snorkeling. The meals and snacks aboard the Paradise were exquisite. My group of 8 had an outstanding trip and couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire experience! Just wanted to Thank You again for the effort you put in to make this all happen. And, you certainly may pass this along to your superiors at Galapagos Travel and those associated with the Natural Paradise. Best wishes to you in all your future endeavors and Felix Navidad! Richard & Connie Calkins December 2023 4.6
Hi Gabriela, Chantal and I have returned home after an INCREDIBLE vacation. Thank you for helping us plan this out and to all the support we received from you prior to the trip. A special shout out to Marie who looked after us during the Isabella stay of our vacation! Between Natures Paradise staff, Marie, and La Selva staff, everyone exceeded our expectations for looking out for us during our trip. We were also blessed with almost perfect weather, while it was chilly in the Galapagos, and hot and humid in the Amazon, we had almost no rain. And 10 plane flights in 3 weeks and not one delay! The food was delicious and there was way too much of it. But of course the highlights were all the animals, amazing landscapes, and all the education we received, which is exactly the experience we were looking for. Thank you so much! We will be sure to pass on the good word, Patten + Chantal September 2022 4.6
Dear Gabriela, The trip was amazing and went above and beyond expectations! Many thanks for your excellent service and hope to check in in the future for another fabulous liveaboard! Greetings, Arnoud & Babettw September 2022 4.6
Hello Diana, We have just returned from our trip to the Galapagos, and I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had. The boat was amazing. The food , the crew, the trips, the guide. There wasn’t anything to fault. It all far exceeded our high expectations after such a long wait. All our connections etc all went smoothly. Thank you for all your help these past few years! Dawn Farr May 2022 4.6
Dear Elizabeth I would like to express my appreciation for the great trip that you organized for us. We loved everything. The guides were great. The accommodations were excellent. The boat was fantastic. Ecuador is a beautiful country and we are in love with it. We made it back home with thousands of pictures and precious memories. Thank you very much! Elena Kalinina July 2021 4.6
Hello there Elizabeth from Guayaquil I must confess that words fail me to convey how much we enjoyed the Galapagos cruise aboard Natural Paradise. While no one can control the weather, it was perfect each and every day which added to the enjoyment. The crew were all superb individually, food was excellent, Alejandro was a treasure, as was Tania - everyone did the best job and looked after us perfectly. You'll see I've attached a couple of photos from Richard's birthday. He loved the day, it was fun filled and will live forever in our memories. Please convey our sincerest thanks once more to the crew and to Peter, everyone was so kind and helpful. And the Galapagos was overwhelming - in the best possible way. We, of course, had high expectations but they were far exceeded. Each of the activities was enthusiastically received, and even friends on board who've never spent much time snorkelling loved every minute. As you can tell, the excitement hasn't dimmed in any way and I still get emotional about it as I write this. The Avenue of the Volcanos tour was also excellent thank you. Gabriel and Marcello were great company, and we learned a lot. I must confess to being glad to be back at sea level, we all found the altitude demanding but everyone coped OK in the end. Please also convey our thanks again to them, and our best wishes. Elizabeth, you've done a terrific job for us over many months of planning and annoying you with emails etc. You've handled everything with aplomb, we can't thank you enough. I should also mention again our thanks for the chocolates and the hat for Richard. Those gifts were very thoughtful. Needless to say, we'd be happy to recommend Galapagos Travel to anyone seeking to do a similar trip. Thank you so very much. Please take care of yourself and keep well. Our warmest regards, Shane and Richard March 2019 4.6
Hi Magus I hope you are well. I just wanted to write and say a massive thank you for the most wonderful trip! The service was absolutely outstanding - from beginning to end! Your email correspondence was timely and efficient, the delivery of the Voucher to our hotel was so impressive, and the consultant that met us at the airport had already checked us in, all we had to do was drop off our luggage (which she also helped us do), the guides were fantastic, the crew was super friendly and helpful, the boat was sensational and the islands were just incredible!! We really had an unforgettable trip and I will certainly recommend Galapagos Travel Center to any and all of my friends and family who are thinking of making the trip. Thanks again and wishing you all the best in the future. Kind regards, Donna Donna August 2017 4.6
HI Rosa, Thank you so much for your help with our vacation to the Galapagos Islands. We had an amazing trip on the Natural Paradise. It couldn’t have been better!! I hope to come back someday with my husband and kids. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Kelly Kelly May 2017 4.6

Galapagos Islands Luxury Yacht Charter Guide

Replete with seemingly endless shorelines fringed by cobalt turquoise waters, the Galapagos Islands are one of the most rewarding yacht charter destinations in the world. Featured heavily in the work of evolutionist Charles Darwin, the volcanic archipelago remains consistently warm the year through, making it an ideal destination for both summer and winter charter vacations.

Yacht Charters in the Galapagos Islands

Due to the sheer number of destinations belonging to the Galapagos Islands, charter vacations can be shaped to satisfy any number of desires. For those inclined towards total relaxation, Gardner Bay over on Hood Island is surrounded by a postcard-perfect beach whilst Tower Island is ideal for the adventurous visitor keen to familiarise themselves with the local wildlife.

Charter Itineraries in Galapagos Islands

Spread across either side of the equator in the Pacific Ocean, the Galapagos Islands are composed of eighteen main islands and four minor islands. The largest of the destinations, Isabela Island, is located towards the western edge of the archipelago and provides visitors the chance to trace its million years of history through its fascinating geology. For the best views of the Galapagos, there’s nothing quite like climbing the volcanic cone at Bartholomew Island to take in the Pinnacle Rock which has become a veritable symbol of the archipelago.

When to go: All year

Even though the Galapagos is on the Equator, and is naturally warm, it does not experience the tropical temperatures that one might expect when visiting. Because of the Humboldt Current, the region’s temperatures stay mild and dry all year. Regardless of the season, the Galapagos islands boast great weather with temperatures ranging from 69 to 84 degrees.

In fact, when it comes to the weather, the Galapagos Islands only have two real seasons. From January to April, visitors to the archipelago will find themselves in the heart of a warm, rainy season; one marked by warm sea currents, less wind, and ultra-calm seas. During this same season, those at higher elevations will notice heavy rains that fill rivers and streams and thus flow down to the lower portions of the islands.

During the dry season, which lasts from May through December, yacht charter guests will find that the southern islands are windy, causing temperatures to drop rapidly. Similarly, the interior of the islands will drop to the mid-70’s, accompanied by less rain along the Galapagos coast.

Because the Galapagos Islands feature a wide variety of landforms – from rolling mountainsides and deep valleys, to coastal beaches – visitors to the islands should expect that the weather and climate will change in every region.

Galapagos Yacht Charters – Things to Do & See

Galapagos water iguanas

While aboard a Galapagos boat charter, you can roam across landmasses, from Isla Isabela to Isla Santiago to Isla Santa Cruz to any of the other small, secluded islands. The unique landscape of these islands moored in the deep blue ocean creates a breathtaking setting for enjoying a variety of activities, including photography, hiking, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Whether you want to sunbathe with seals, swim with whale sharks, or just relax in crystal clear waters, you’ll surely have an adventure!

When planning your yacht charter to Galapagos you want to make sure that you see and do as much as you can. Here are five things to do in the Galapagos Islands.

Make the most of the landscape

The Islands have a variety of landscapes that begin at the low coastlands and beaches to the lush inland and the towering mountains. However, the most exciting aspect is the geologic hot spots. In Santa Cruz, you can tour ancient underground tunnels formed long ago by the same volcanic activity which formed the islands. You will be awed by formations from active volcanos and can even hike to the top of one and peer inside.

See the unique land animals

The land creatures in the Galapagos Islands are unafraid of humans, unlike anything you’ve seen. Tortuga Bay, in particular, is home to thousands of marine iguanas who sun themselves on the beautiful beach and play in the warm waters. The area is known for its giant tortoises. These giant, yet unassuming, beasts can be seen in the wild or at one of the private tortoise ranches. Yacht charter guests will have the opportunity of viewing and even interacting with a variety of wildlife – birds, mammals, reptiles, marine animals, and insects.

Birds : When people think of birds of the Galapagos, they’re bound to think immediately of the finch. These tiny birds played an important part in Darwin’s Theory, but the islands have many more species of birds, including flamingos, blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, and cormorants.

Mammals : Although some of your most vivid memories of Galapagos creatures may be interacting with the sea lions or watching the dolphins perform off the bow of your Galapagos crewed yacht, these are two of the few species of mammals on the Islands. Due to its isolation from any mainland, very few native mammals – no more than fourteen – have ever inhabited the Galapagos Islands.

Reptiles : Even though the archipelago has few mammals, it does not mean that it has minimal land creatures. Reptiles have dominated the land and include the Galapagos giant tortoise as well as iguanas, snakes, and lizards.

Insects : Since the islands were never connected to the mainland, they offer a limited number of insects; however, on after a significant rainfall and perhaps in light at night, you may see the green hawkmoth or the fringed noctuid butterflies. Other insects you may spot include the large painted grasshopper and the giant longhorn beetle.

Explore under the water

Snorkelers and divers will whole-heartedly agree that the best wildlife that the Galapagos has to offer is under the water. The waters hold a variety of species, most notably including Sally light-foot crabs, sharks, sea cucumbers, white sharks, and even occasionally whales and hammerhead sharks.

The clear waters of the area make for excellent snorkeling conditions. The sea creatures are just as accustomed to humans as those on land. You’ll get up close to a myriad of tropical fish, turtles, and other sea creatures. The sea lions are particularly friendly with great personalities, but remember the strict rule to keep six feet from all animals.

Look up in the skies

If you aren’t interested in birds before you go to Galapagos, you will be when you get there! There are great quantities of birds with many different and unique features. Try to spot all thirteen species of Darwin’s finches as well as the flightless cormorant, the blue-footed booby, and the waved albatross. The birds are easy to spot, are not skittish, and sing beautiful songs.

Get educated

Be certain to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station while on your yacht charter the Galapagos Islands. Renowned as a top conservation and research center, the center is located in Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. It is dedicated to conserve the unique environment of the Islands as well as educate the public about the amazing flora and fauna of the area.

Hermes | Galapagos Catamaran

Hermes

The Hermes Catamaran revolutionizes luxury cruising in the Galapagos by offering a perfect blend of comfort, exceptional service, and unforgettable experiences both onboard and on land. It challenges the notion that you have to sacrifice comfort on a large cruise ship to enjoy intimacy on a smaller vessel.

Moreover, when you embark on a cruise aboard the Hermes Catamaran, you also contribute to the conservation of Galapagos' wildlife through the Endemic Reforestation Program on Santa Cruz Island.

With our dedication to personalized service and meticulous attention to detail, we strive to create the ideal environment for an extraordinary adventure on these magical islands.

State-of-the-art deluxe suites

The Hermes Catamaran boasts 12 generously sized convertible suites located on the main and upper decks of the vessel. These suites, consisting of 10 double and 2 single accommodations, feature private bathrooms, air conditioning, walk-in closets, mini bars, floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, and jacuzzis.

Elegant social areas

In contrast to the belief that only large ships offer a wide range of social spaces, the Hermes Catamaran provides various indoor and outdoor areas for socializing. Indoors, you will find a welcoming area, two lounges, and a library. Outdoor options include an aperitif lounge, a spacious sundeck with al-fresco dining, an open area with reclining chairs, and an observation zone.

Additional services offered onboard

We offer complimentary snorkeling equipment in average sizes, wetsuits in different sizes on a first-come, first-served basis, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. Cooking and cocktail lessons, unpacking service, and 24/7 butler service are also provided free of charge. Massages are available for an extra fee and can be booked onboard.

Additional information

Please note that it is mandatory to use the flights arranged by our cruise company. A penalty fee of USD 50 will be applied if other flights are used. Flight rates and schedules are subject to change without prior notice.

If you choose to book your flight to the Galapagos independently and it arrives earlier than our scheduled operational flight, you will need to wait at the Galapagos airport until the rest of the group on your cruise arrives. If your Galapagos flight arrives later than our scheduled flight, additional transportation costs may apply to reach the yacht. The same applies to your return flight to Quito or Guayaquil. Please be aware that any missed excursions cannot be reimbursed when you book your own flights.
