Edmiston’s 69m Tia Moana sees €5 million price reduction
James Lloyd in the New York office of Edmiston and Company tells me that the price of Austal Ships/Oceanfast’s 69m Tia Moana has seen a price reduction of €5 million, down to €25 million. He describes her as “A boutique hotel on the water”, as she accommodates 50 guests in four triple and 26 double cabins. As a charter yacht she could be booked in her entirety or, for smaller groups, just the bridge deck accommodating eight guests.

Tia Moana is a comprehensively optioned Fountaine Pajot Cumberland 46 (owner’s version) that provides fast yet fuel efficient cruising in comfort.
This is truly an exceptional catamaran that provides remarkable autonomy and range courtesy of its efficient solar energy system. Her genset is only required for air conditioning (four individual units for optimal convenience and economy), and the entire system can be remotely controlled via the internet.
Affording absolute tranquility at anchor, Tia Moana features an expansive flybridge for spacious onboard living and entertaining. Her interior is beautifully spacious, with the saloon and galley enjoying panoramic views.
With three cabins, the catamaran comfortably accommodates six in style with generous double beds and electric toilet facilities.

The motor yacht TIA MOANA is a 69 metre 227 (foot) prominent aluminium boat which was newly built by Austal and devised by Austal. Accommodating 50 guests and 37 qualified crew, motor yacht TIA MOANA was previously called 173. The firm of naval architecture whom authored this yacht's design details in respect of the yacht is Austal.
Yacht Description. TIA MOANA (sister ship of TU MOANA) is an elegant and distinguished 69m yacht, with five decks offering; various private lounges, two external Jacuzzis, a fitness suite and an 'a la carte' spa service. A nice cosy library contains a variety of Polynesian art and culture books for those seeking enrichment and tranquillity.
The majestic 2003 mega yacht SALUZI (ex Tia Moana) is a 69-metre all-aluminium, semi-displacement vessel, constructed by Austal from Australia. With the last refit by Horizon in 2013, luxury charter yacht Saluzi boasts lovely interior design by DeBasto Designs. She can accommodate 32 guests in 16 bright and spacious cabins.
