Bozburun Yacht Club wellcomes all those who have found shelter in the seas. Bozburun Bay offers supreme sailing conditions to play hide and seek around the islands.

Home to 1920 Harun Ülmen built Seddülbahir and many other classical boats, BYC offers its seagoing guests a variety services including Library, Internet, Water, Electricty, Laundry Service.

Bozburun is mostly known by the yachtsmen. Life is so calm and quite in Bozburun. There are not many large tourist facilities in Bozburun but the facilities are small but very quality ones.

The environment is quite barren compared to the other regions of Marmaris. There are few hotels and pensions for accommodation and several very good fish restaurants in Bozburun that worth a taste.

Locals mostly grow their own vegetables in their house gardens and also collect eggs from their poultry houses. Locals also go fishing daily and that makes the town a popular place for fresh fish and sea products. Every sight and facilities within Bozburun is in a walking distance so locals mostly use bikes to get around.

Bozburun is well know with the boat workshops as the very popular Gulets are made here. There are many small shipyards, workshops and slipways on the shore forming an exciting view.

Top Things to Do & See

In Bozburun, you may enjoy a quite holiday at the few hotels and pensions.

Bozburun also hosts lots of calm coves around to be discover and moor by boats, yachts and gulets. There is also a yacht club in Bozburun for yachting and sailing lovers.

No Regrets Booking Advice

The few remnants of the ancient city of Larymna is nearby the village on the Asar Hill. It takes about 45 minutes to reach the hill and you may a hiking. The city walls and grave remnants are spread around the region. Bozburun has a nice landscape from the top.

Boat trips are made to the side coves around.

The popular Saranda district in Sogut village is also wortha visit and see as it is about 5 km. away from Bozbururn.

There you can enjoy the stunning views of the Sombeki Inlet and Simi Island at sunset. The ancient cities of Tafllıca and Phoinix are also worth a visit and see there.

Bozburun is located about 50 kilometres on the southwest from central Marmaris .

Transport Options

You need to follow the Marmaris-Datca Road. You can also find midi buses going to Hisaronu from central Marmaris.

Airport Transfers to/from Bozburun

If you are a group or a family with kids or having lots of luggage with you, than we highly recommend you private transfers. The Havas airport shuttles will bring you to at the Intercity Bus Terminal of Marmaris and you’ll need to take a taxi from there again. Private transfers will drive you just to the entrance of your hotel.
