“The Riva 110 project is a promise of style, design and performance to reach levels never seen before,” Riva says. “Through the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli together with Sergio Beretta, the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, and the Engineering Department, Riva 110 promises to be a magnificent and beautiful flybridge yacht, as well as larger than ever before.”

When Riva introduced its former flagship model the 110 Dolcevita, the builder expanded on the exterior design and flowing lines of the 100-foot Corsaro. Allied Marine currently has Tasty Waves , a 2020 Riva 110 Dolcevita, listed for $10.95 million. 

“[ Tasty Waves is] a masterpiece of luxury performance, meticulously crafted for the discerning yachtsman,” Allied Marine says. “This stunning vessel has been kept inside an enclosed building full-time.” 

The flybridge has an open-air after section that has a lounge area set up with an L-shaped settee and two lounge chairs. Forward, under the hardtop, a U-shaped dinette sits to starboard across from a two-stool bar. A companion bench seat forward to port is adjacent to the two-seat upper helm station. 

On the foredeck if one sunpad is not enough there’s a second abaft the first. Aft of the second sun pad is a U-shaped settee in case you’re looking to enjoy cocktails at sunset. 

The cockpit is mostly shaded by the flybridge overhang and has room for up to eight people to enjoy alfresco dining at the U-shaped transom settee and fixed dining table. 

Tasty Waves has a conventional salon, which has the lounge area aft and the formal dining space amidships. The main deck interior is bathed in natural light thanks to nearly sole-to-ceiling windows lining the room. Lounge seating includes a double length L-shaped sofa to port. 

Sleeping accommodations include the main deck master stateroom and four additional staterooms belowdecks. The on deck master has a centerline berth and an en suite head. Amidships, the four en suite staterooms belowdecks split the centerline with two cabins forward and two aft. The three-cabin crew quarters is forward, in the bow. 

Twin 2,638 hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesels give this 110-footer a 26-knot top hop and a 23-knot cruise speed. It’s worth noting that the engine warranty was recently extended 36 months, or up to 4,500 hours.

The 110’ Dolcevita comes complete with a hot tub, lots of lounging area space and a number of al fresco dining spots. Featuring a bow lounge, an extensive flybridge as well as a large swim platform just a few steps away from the large cockpit, the yacht offers plenty of exterior spaces. 

The main salon features a refined design, with a large salon and a formal dining area. The crew can access directly from the galley, allowing the utmost level of service. 

She can accommodate ten guests in five cabins, including a master suite, two double cabins and two convertible cabins.

The result of cooperation between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by designer Mauro Micheli together with Sergio Beretta, and the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, the Riva 110’ Dolcevita was received with enthusiasm by the panel for its exterior design, with its ultra-sporting profile, and the yacht's aerodynamic qualities, further boosted by the lateral structures in glass. Consistently with the brand's heritage, sophisticated design choices and innovative technological features make this flybridge an exceptionally beautiful yacht.

Video: First Riva 110 Dolcevita yacht debuts in Monaco

The first model in the new  Riva 110 Dolcevita series has made her world premiere in Monaco, the Ferretti Group confirms. The new Riva flagship made her debut outside the Monaco Yacht Club, coinciding with the occasion of the Grand Prix Historique automobile race taking place in the principality. From May 11-13, yacht owners and car enthusiasts had a chance to see the new 34 metre Riva flagship.

“‘Dolcevita’ indicates a period and a style that could only be associated with a yacht of unrivalled beauty, one whose appeal will resonate in the yachting world for decades to come,” commented Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group CEO. “We chose Monte Carlo for its debut, because this is one of the most ‘Dolcevita’ locations in the world, and the Grand Prix Historique, which is an event where legends meet.”

The Ferretti Group has also released a brand new video of the Riva 110, as seen below, which shows off her captivating details and high-speed performance.

The 34 metre yacht was launched in March of this year in La Spezia, Italy. This all-GRP flybridge yacht features styling by long-term partners  Officina Italiana Design , including chrome inserts and extensive glazing that surrounds the main deck  owner’s cabin  and raised pilothouse.

The focus on al fresco living can be seen throughout the Riva 110 Dolcevita, from the foredeck seating area, complete with superyacht spa pool , to the aft sunlounging area on the upper deck.

The Riva 110 Dolcevita has been fitted with the Ferretti Group’s unique submersible transom, which allows for quick tender launches as well as direct access to the sea. This patent-pending system features a garage door that can fold down to create a bathing platform before lowering into the water when needed.

The yard adds that the  tender garage  on the Riva 110 Dolcevita is big enough to house a 5.7 metre Williams Dieseljet RIB and as well as a Jet Ski.

The main deck cockpit leads into the saloon, which has been described as a “luxury loft” due to the floor-to-ceiling windows and ability to open up to the elements on three sides.

Accommodation is for up to ten guests split between a main deck master suite and four VIP cabins below decks, while the crew quarters allow for a staff of up to five people.

Power comes from a pair of 2,601hp MTU 16V 2000 M94 engines that give the Riva 110 Dolcevita a sporty top speed of 26 knots and a fast cruising speed of 23 knots.

What’s more, the zero-speed and fin stabilisation systems will ensure a smooth cruising experience, both underway and at anchor.

Other Riva projects currently in development include the 28.6 metre Riva 90 yacht, which is due to launch before the end of the year.
