International Antifoulingfarbe für das Unterwasserschiff

Selbstpolierende Antifouligfarben (International Cruiser/Micron/Trilux) werden meist für langsamere Segelyachten verwendet. Diese Art von Antifouling hat die besondere Eigenschaft, dass es sich selbst abschleift. Die Antifoulingfarbe ist wasserlöslich und wird bei der Fahrt durch das Wasser immer dünner, so ist dauerhaft frisches Biozid auf der Oberfläche.

Dünnschicht-Antifoulings (International VC 17m / VC17m EXTRA) wirken nicht durch Abgabe von Wirkstoffen an das Wasser, sondern durch die sehr glatte Oberfläche, die den Organismen eine Anhaftung erschwert. Zudem optimiert die glatte Oberfläche die Bootsgeschwindigkeit, erhöht das Tempo und reduziert den Kraftstoffverbrauch. Wer sein Boot regelmäßig pflegt vermeidet Bewuchs und Beschädigung in einem. Effektiver Bewuchsschutz für Ihren Bootsrumpf

Mit einem regelmäßigen Antifouling-Anstrich schützen Sie Ihren Bootsrumpf effektiv vor schädlichen Ablagerungen oder Muschel-Ansiedlungen. Es ist dabei wichtig zu wissen, welches Antifouling zuletzt verwendet wurde. Sollte dieses noch in einem guten Zustand sein, kann es ausreichen die Oberfläche zu reinigen und mit derselben Art von Antifouling zu erneuern. Hartantifouling

International Hartantifouling (International Ultra/VC Offshore EU) etwa ist ein schnell trocknendes und hartes Biozid, das besonders für schnellere Segelyachten und Motorboote geeignet ist. Sie streichen damit ganz einfach den Rumpf und vermeiden so die Ansiedlung ungewollter Wasserorganismen.

International Antifouling

Hochglanz Bootslack, Holz-Klarlack und Decksfarbe

1-Komponenten Bootslacke (International Toplack/Super Gloss/Interdeck) haben gegenüber 2-Komponenten Bootslacken den Vorteil, dass sie günstiger und leichter zu verarbeiten sind. 2-Komponenten Lacke (International Perfection) bestehen aus einer Basis und einem Härter. Beides wird erst vor dem Anstrich vermischt, wodurch der Lack seine vollständige Wirkung entfaltet. 2-K Yachtlacke sind besonders hart und bieten einen längeren Glanzerhalt als einkomponentige Bootslacke. Wer den etwas höheren Kaufpreis im Vergleich zu 1-K Bootslacken nicht scheut, und sich die Verarbeitung zutraut, wird sich lange Zeit an dem glänzenden Ergebnis erfreuen.

Fast alle transparenten Klarlacke von International (International Original/Compass/ Schooner) können im Außen- und Innenbereich angewendet werden, haben einen sehr guten bis exzellenten UV-Schutz und sind speziell für den Einsatz auf Booten und Yachten hergestellt. Auch bei den Klarlacken hat International 1- oder 2-Komponenten Lacke im Produktportfolio. Den ausgezeichneten und bewährten 2-K Hochglanz-Klarlack International Perfection Plus erhalten Sie im SVB Onlineshop im Gebinde zu 0,75 Liter oder als großen 2,25 Liter Topf.

Diese Produkte wurden speziell für Werften und Fachbetriebe zur Bootsrestaurierung und -lackierung entwickelt. Aufgrund der erforderlichen Applikationsmethoden und der Gebindegröße von 5 bis 20 Liter sind die Anstrichprodukte der International Profi-Range nicht für Privatanwender, sondern ausschließlich für die Verwendung durch professionelle Verarbeiter mit einer Genehmigung zur Verwendung professioneller Anstrichprodukte für Boote geeignet.

Celebrating 140 Years

AkzoNobel’s International ® brand is synonymous with innovation and collaboration, and has risen to become a world leader in marine, protective and yacht coatings.

1881-1904 The Beginnings

In 1881, brothers Max and Albert Holzapfel began their journey into the world of marine coatings.

Partnering with Charles Petrie, the trio began mixing paints by hand at a shipyard on England’s River Tyne, aiming to ride the tide of the booming marine industry.

A decade later the company became International, adding the distinctive red propeller to its logo.

The original Felling factory site is still home to one of International’s main operational bases 140 years later, with laboratories and offices continuing to innovate in the world of coatings.

The brand has sailed through the waters of mergers and acquisitions over the years.

Most notably, International was acquired by Courtaulds in 1968, merging it with the historic PJA Paint Suppliers.

After more years of partnerships and mergers, International was brought under the AkzoNobel umbrella, where it remains today as a leader in marine, protective and yacht coatings.

1931 - Today Meeting Evolving Demands

As shipowner needs changed, international products have evolved in kind..

In 1931, International dedicated a yacht paint operation for pleasure boat builders in Europe and Asia, known as Interlux in North America.

Other aspects of the business, like protective coatings, grew more organically. What started as a quiet demand for these coatings in the oil and gas industry led to a shift in focus and products in the 1970s. These products now boast the largest segment of the International family.

Interdeck Finishes Slip Resistant Deck Paint PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Interdeck provides an excellent slip resistant finish. It contains a fine aggregate and will apply easily on all substrates. * Low sheen finish prevents dazzling reflected sunlight off decks * Easy application * Available in a range of colours The tough polyurethane resin protects decks against everyday wear and tear. PRODUCT INFORMATION Colour YJB000White, YJB923Squall Blue, YJC089Cream, YJF684Grey, YJG009Sand Beige Not all colours or pack sizes are available in all countries. Semi Gloss Specific Gravity Volume Solids Typical Shelf Life Unit Size DRYING/OVERCOATING INFORMATION Drying 5°C (41°F) PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES In Good Condition Wash down with Super Cleaner, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 280320 grade (grit) paper. In Poor Condition Remove all previous coatings and prime the substrate. PRIMING All preparation for bare substrates is covered on the appropriate primer datasheet. BARE WOOD Sand smooth with 80180 grade paper and then 280 grade paper. Remove sanding dust by brushing, dusting and wiping. If wiping with solvent then allow to dry completely before applying products recommended for application direct to wood (see specific coating systems). STEEL Degrease with solvent or suitable detergent cleaner. Gritblast to Sa 2½ near white metal surface. If gritblasting is not possible, grind the metal surface with 2436 grit abrasive discs to a uniform, clean, bright metal surface with a 50 75 microns anchor pattern. Use angle grinder on small areas. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry. Preprime using an International primer as detailed for specific coating systems. ALUMINIUM Degrease with solvent or suitable detergent cleaner. Sand well using 24120 grade (aluminium compatible) paper. Coarser grades are recommended to achieve optimum adhesion. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry. Preprime using an International primer as soon as possible (within 8 hours) as detailed for specific coating systems. GRP Degrease with solvent or suitable detergent cleaner. Sand well using 60120 grade paper. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry. Preprime using an International primer as detailed for specific coating systems. AGED/WEATHERED GELCOATS Due to the potentially porous nature of aged/weathered gelcoats the risk of solvent/moisture entrapment after painting is much higher than when gelcoat is new. As a result this entrapment could lead to blistering of the paint film. To reduce the risk of paint film blistering it is recommended that 3 coats of Interprotect are applied to seal the gelcoat. Interprotect must be overcoated with Perfection Undercoat prior to topcoat application. ALL SUBSTRATES If any filling is required use the appropriate product from the International range . Sand the primer with 180220 grade wet or dry paper. Remove dust with a dust wipe. Apply 12 coats. Mixing Stir well before use. Thinner YTA800 Thinners No.1 Cleaner Thinners No.1 Ventilation and Humidity Control Apply in dry, well ventilated conditions. Other For best results either stipple by brush or use a mohair roller.
