The 203-foot (62m) luxury superyacht RoMa is beyond impressive. From her comfortable on-deck living areas to her contemporary interior spaces that were inspired by the ocean, RoMA provides the perfect platform for an exceptional charter experience from the moment you embark.

Launched in 2010 by Viareggio Superyachts, RoMA features impeccable design courtesy of famed Norwegian architect Espen Oeino. The yacht’s lavish, modern interior style was created by Katharina Raczek from Newcruise. She conceptualized a pristine color palate of crisp whites enhanced by golds and deep reds with hints of green. The interior décor pays homage to the sea with nuanced touches such as the main salon’s sand-like carpet and the Nautilus sea shell-like laser-cut paneling on the main staircase.

The spacious main salon is ideally suited for relaxing and socializing. The space features seating, a backlit onyx bar and coffee tables. Forward is formal dining for 12 at a beautiful circular table. The main deck also is home to the master stateroom located furthest forward. This elegant space features a king-size bed as well as a pullout sofa. Panoramic windows provide incredible views and natural light. The en-suite bathroom has his-and-hers sinks and a bathtub and a dressing room rounds out the lavish suite. Three additional en-suite staterooms also are found on the main deck. A fifth stateroom is located on the upper deck and the sixth is found below deck for added privacy. Twelve guests are comfortably accommodated on board.

RoMa’s on-board movie theater is a favorite space for guests after a day on the water. The full-beam skylounge features seating and a game table and beautiful nautical-inspired décor. Aft of the skylounge is a large alfresco dining table and built-in lounge seating. This is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor meals.

The sundeck aboard RoMa is a favorite place for guests to spend sun-soaked days. From the loungers and adjustable sunpads to the large pool and bar, what’s not to enjoy? This space also has an air-conditioned gym that offers impressive views as you work out.

RoMa comes with an outstanding inventory of water toys. Easily launched from her beautiful beach club, play with paddleboards, water skis, Jet Skis, Seabobs and snorkeling gear. The crew can set up the enormous waterslide for fast fun. A water golf game will keep everyone on their toys and the Castoldi Jet tender can take guests anywhere they want to go. RoMa is a PADI Superyacht Dive Boat and her onboard scuba instructors ensure total safety for all guests. She also is a RYA Personal Water Craft (PWC) School ensuring that all guests are able to use the Jet Skis and other toys. The yacht’s licensed masseuse/beautician provides a variety of spa treatments for guests. RoMa’s captain is well versed in yoga and meditation and is always willing to share his expertise on these and any other fields.

Accommodation & Deck Areas

RoMa can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 luxurious, contemporary-styled staterooms, including a full-beam Master Suite, one VIP stateroom, three Double and a Twin. All of her staterooms are of considerable size and offer plenty of living volume. On the main deck forward, the floor plan raises above and a staircase leads you to the beautifully arranged full-beam Master Suite featuring an ample en-suite bathroom as well as a dressing room. Another three guest staterooms, fitted with queen size beds, are on the same deck right before the staircase leading to the Master suite. Each of the staterooms onboard is swathed in champagne and cream tones with an alternate colour theme repeated in the detailing. A fifth guest stateroom, fitted with a queen-size bed, is located on the upper deck, while the sixth stateroom, featuring twin beds, is situated on the lower deck for those who may enjoy a little more privacy. Her huge main salon is a combination of versatile seating areas, designed to entertain and relax. The backlit onyx bar, dining and coffee tables are real head-turners! Take the elevator to lift you to the full-beam upper deck, beautifully decorated in soft tones and coral accents, where you will find big, comfortable seating areas, a game table, an office desk as well as a large exterior dining table and further comfortable seating and coffee tables. One floor above is the breathtaking sky deck, home to the pool, the al-fresco bar, the gym, more sun lounges, and another dining table. A further and very popular feature amongst the younger guests onboard is the cinema which features clever lighting details, imitating the bioluminescence of the sea.

Performance

This custom full displacement yacht is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience. She features ‘at anchor stabilisers’ which work at zero speed to increase onboard comfort at anchor and on rough waters. With a cruising speed of 12 knots, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 6,000nm from her 158,000-litre fuel tanks, she is the perfect combination of performance and luxury.

She is the first of her kind yacht, certified as PADI Superyacht Scuba Dive Boat and is also Scuba Safety certified, which means that guests can complete scuba diving courses on board and obtain their PADI licenses just as they would if they attended an ashore PADI school. Chartering RoMa superyacht is the secret to embrace the seas and forge everlasting memories of a fantastically unique yachting experience!

Designed by the renowned Norwegian architect Espen Oeino, stunning RoMa was launched by Viareggio Superyachts in 2010. Throughout her luxurious living spaces, a colour palette of crisp whites contrasted against warm splashes of deep reds, delicate gold’s and hints of green create a feeling of contemporary elegance designed by Katharina Raczek from Newcruise who decided to include subtle references to the sea embracing RoMa yacht. That is why the carpet in the main salon simulates the sand on the sea-bottom, why the white Art Deco 3D laser cut paneling on the main staircase simulates the Nautilus sea shells, why the side panels in the upper salon simulate reef coral or why the carpeting in the aisles of the main salon seems to hide tiny sea shells. The sea is essential to the Owners so they decorated RoMa to serve as an almost invisible tribute to it.

RoMa is one of the few super-yachts fitted with a dynamic positioning system (DPS). This allows her to stop engines end stay put without having to use the anchor. This feature comes incredibly handy now that more and more areas are banning the use of anchors to protect the sea bottom. Another peculiarity of the DPS is that it allows the captain to position the yacht as per the guests’ wishes regardless of where the sun is. If they want more sunshine, RoMa will turn as needed; if they want more shade in the exterior dining areas which aren’t covered by the biminis and sunbrellas, RoMa will turn on her axis to the ideal position. Needless to say that her zero-speed stabilizers under-way and at anchor play and important factor in this and at the same time warrant that the yacht roles as little as absolutely possible.

Sun Deck: For the outdoor lovers RoMa yacht offers a spacious sun deck complete with numerous chaise-longues, vast adjustable sun pads, and a generous pool with jets capable of creating a strong current for the ultimate workout. An al-fresco bar is situated just aft of the pool. An air conditioned superbly equipped gym with an expansive view is just one of the amenities to enjoy on this prestigious super-yacht.

Upper Deck: A full beam sky lounge with coral accented pillows, is nestled in the same familiar soft cream tones as the salon and guest staterooms; strategically placed immense chairs and settee, game table and desk round out this spectacular room. The wall panels, made from papaya tree bark, feature immaculate joinery. An ample rectangular aft deck dining table provided for alfresco dining at its best. Main Salon: The oversized main salon is comprised of versatile seating areas that are especially designed with entertaining or relaxing in mind. An outstanding feature on this deck are the backlit onyx bar, dining and coffee tables. Master Suite: Forward on the desirable main deck, the floor-plan raises above a staircase leading to the voluminous master suite. Another three guest cabins are also located on this same deck albeit on the same floor-plan as the salon. The Master suite, being on the same deck although on a higher location warrants real intimacy for its occupants. It exudes an understate elegance and features a king size bed as well as a pullout sofa for added flexibility. Its panoramic windows allow natural light to pour into the suite filing every corner of it. The master suite’s regal bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, shower, his & hers hand wash basins and wc. An enviable dressing room complements this fabulous master suite.

Guests’ staterooms: Two VIPs and a double guest stateroom are located on the main deck level of Roma superyacht and feature en-suite bathrooms as well as a writing desk and separate seating areas. Each of the guest staterooms is swathed in champagne and cream tones with an alternate color theme repeated in the detailing. A fifth guest stateroom is located on the upper deck, aft of the helm station, while the sixth stateroom, a convertible, is situated on the lower deck for those who may enjoy a little more privacy.

RoMa yacht is child-friendly with a genuinely child-friendly crew. She's also wheelchair friendly thanks to the width of all aisles and doors with the added plus of the elevator servicing four decks (lower deck to upper deck. The elevator does not get to the sundeck, but the crew is trained to help guests with mobility issues get to the sundeck regardless how serious the issues are. on RoMa no one is left behind!).

T/T RoMa can reach an exhilarating speed of up to 30 knots and is a sea-limousine of sorts when bringing guests ashore.

RoMa is the first yacht of her kind certified as PADI Superyacht Dive Boat and is also Yacht Scuba Safety certified. This means that guests can complete PADI dive courses on board and obtain a proper scuba diving license which they can use to dive wherever else they go in the whole wide world. Licenses obtained on board other yachts are only valid for the duration of the charter. The Yacht Scuba Safety Certificate warrants that the scuba diving courses imparted on board follow the highest safety standards and that RoMa’s dive masters and dive instructors have followed specific courses to warrant that guests diving with them will be supervised by a scuba-diving professional. But there is more than just scuba diving! RoMa is also an approved RYA Personal Water Craft (PWC) School; guests who don’t hold a license to drive a jet sky but would love to experience how fun it is only need to follow a short course on board to obtain a license which enables users to drive the RoMa’s PWC toys.

With a licensed masseuse/beautician on board, guests can enjoy the benefits of a luxury spa at sea. But that isn’t all: for those wishing to exercise mind & body simultaneously RoMa offers top quality yoga mats and yoga blocks. Furthermore,. Captain Janusz always tries to find a moment -even if it is just five minutes- to meditate and increase his mindfulness. Motor Yacht

Roma is a 61.80m motor yacht, custom built in 2010 by Italian shipyard Viareggio SuperYachts. This yacht’s sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Espen Oeino. Her contemporary interior was designed by Newcruise.

Roma represents the extraordinary second chapter in the history of VSY and rightly constitutes a determining factor. While maintaining all the technical elements which normally feature in VSY yachts, the very best components available on the world-wide market today have been selected - namely: an efficient top-of-the-range electronic infrastructure for ship automation and governance, a legendary dynamic positioning system and a myriad of environmentally friendly equipment enabling them to receive the ABS Class R2 classification. The General Plan of this yacht pays special attention not only to the Owner’s requirements but also to those of three VIP cabins situated on the upper deck - all of which have sweeping windows giving breathtaking views of the surrounding seascape which all sea-farers feel but do not always have the pleasure of seeing to such an extent. The internal design by Newcruise Yacht Project & Design naturally reflects the Owner’s personality: elegant simplicity in every detail and a notable lack of superfluous flamboyance. A symphony of light shades and colours creates a relaxing atmosphere for anyone privileged enough to experience life on board. The eyes feast on Madras silks, fine Townsend leathers, natural stones, Macassar ebony and a range of beautiful veneers all combined into furniture, accessories and fittings of clean simple lines which are a pure pleasure to behold. ROMA Yacht – Idyllic $45M luxury yacht

The ROMA yacht is a 62.0m superyacht built and delivered by Viareggio Superyachts in 2010. 

She is the fourth largest yacht built by the Italian company, and she is also ranked as the 429 largest yacht in the world.

The ROMA yacht interior design was penned by Katharina Rczek from Newcruise.

The color scheme in white shades with gold, red and green hues honors the ocean with a sand-like carpet and sea shell-like panels on the main staircase. 

ROMA has a modern interior style perfect for the guest to either relax or socialize. Her panoramic windows fill the yacht with natural lights providing amazing views.

She can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms, including a master suite, four double cabins, and one twin cabin. She can also carry 17 crew members in separate cabins. 

To ensure comfort and relaxation, ROMA has a variety of amenities to entertain every single guest, such as a swimming pool, movie theatre, gym, air-conditioning, inflatable water slide, games consoles, and an elevator. 

Her toys include jet skis, Yamaha wave runner, paddle boards, kayaks, sea bobs, jet surf, flyboard, floating pool, inflatable trampoline, and snorkeling and scuba diving equipment. She is also equipped with two tenders ready to use.

The ROMA yacht features both exterior design and naval architecture by Espen Øino International. 

She has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and she’s characterized for having multiple open areas to sunbathe or use as platforms for any sports or activities.

ROMA features “at anchor stabilizers”, increasing onboard comfort and security even on rough waters. 

She has a Dynamic Positioning System that gives her access to coves and beaches, in spite of her size. She is also wheelchair friendly.

The ROMA yacht has a beam of 11.0m, a draft of 5.32m, and a volume of 1,090 GT. She is powered by two Caterpillar engines (2,682HP).

She has a crushing speed of 12 knots and can reach a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of 6,000 nautical miles. She is also capable of carrying 158,000 liters of fuel and can store up to 39,000 liters of water. 

ROMA is known for being environmentally friendly, she is a RINA-certified green yacht. 

She also features PADI Certified Training Center and Approved RYA Water Sports Centre, so guests can learn how to scuba dive on a charter vacation. 

According to some websites, the ROMA yacht was last sold in 2015. This luxury yacht is available for private or corporate charter and events. 

The summer rate goes from 345,000 to 395,000 EUR per week plus expenses. 

Her cruising regions for this season are Croatia, France, Italy, Monaco, Montenegro, Turkey, Amalfi Coast, Corsica, French Riviera, Ibiza, Sardinia, and The Balearics. 

As for the winter season, there are no available rates or destinations.

Ne da' notizia il fratello Francesco, annunciando che il decesso è avvenuto nella sua casa romana. Alicicco avrebbe compiuto 90 anni il prossimo 7 novembre. Il suo nome si lega agli anni giallorossi dell'era Anzalone, prosegue lungo tutta la gestione di Dino Viola per poi concludersi con la presidenza Franco Sensi: 23 anni di militanza romanista, dal 1978 al 2001. Laureato in Farmacia a Roma e poi in Medicina a Siena, aveva giocato da portiere nel settore giovanile della Lazio, terminando la carriera agonistica nel Siena dove incrocio' come compagno Carlo Mazzone. Gli inizi da medico sportivo alla Lazio col professor Renato Ziaco, poi nel '78 la chiamata Roma con Renato Anzalone al suo ultimo anno di presidenza, come 'responsabile dei servizi sanitari'. Con Viola lo scudetto di Liedholm, Di Bartolomei e Falcao, poi uno scampolo della Roma di Sensi e dal 2002 al 2005 l'incarico di medico sportivo del Brescia, allenato da Carlo Mazzone e con Roberto Baggio in campo.
