Whatever Happened To Adam Glick From Below Deck?

Adam Glick Below Deck Mediterranean

Chef Adam Glick had quite the stint on Bravo's "Below Deck Mediterranean," coming full circle from being one of the most hated cast members to a fan favorite. Glick joined the cast in Season 2 after Ben Robinson departed the series after Season 1 and ran the galley by his rules. He definitely didn't abide by the primary's preference sheet, which was often an issue with the guests — onions, anyone? He went toe-to-toe with Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier at first, but the two eventually became friendly in Season 3. Perhaps his biggest rival was Bosun Wes Walton, due to their love triangle mess with deckhand Malia White.

After leaving the "Below Deck Mediterranean" family after Season 3, it looked like we might not see the chef again, but he surprised everyone by appearing on a spin-off. "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" debuted in 2020 with Glick back in the galley, and he found himself in yet another reality television relationship with Chief Stew Jenna MacGillivray. Unfortunately, that pairing didn't work out either, and Glick has yet to appear on Bravo again. The chef appears to be happier than ever and has been doing well back on land since he left the network.

Adam Glick is still living the chef life off Below Deck

Since leaving Bravo, Adam Glick has his hands full with an array of different adventures. Fans of the chef can follow him on Instagram , where he posts adventures from his travels with his dog, which has made for quite the aesthetically pleasing timeline. According to his website , Glick hosts a cooking show on OutsideTV titled "Stoked," which features athletes and famous outdoorsmen/women. He also has two series in production, based around his Adventure Chef brand — a nickname he has given himself. The chef also partnered with Messermeister and released a six-piece knife kit which is available for a pretty penny.

Additionally, Glick has joined the world of charity and works with A Walk on Water, which provides surf therapy to children. "My first day helping to teach these kids how to surf in Malibu, CA, I was hooked, inspired, and relieved," Glick noted. "I'm starting to think the surf therapy is actually for the adults and surf instructors. The smile on these kids faces is priceless and makes you feel amazing inside." He also frequently offers private dining sessions at auction and donates the proceeds to different charities.

What Adam From Below Deck Mediterranean Is Doing Now

Chef Adam Glick from Below Deck

Below Deck Mediterranean 's Adam Glick became an instantaneous fan favorite during his initial two stints  on the show thanks to his uniquely rugged and tattoo-covered look, willingness to get involved in the onboard fray, and (naturally) his drama-filled love triangle with two other cast mates. The self-professed " Adventure Chef " wasn't necessarily made for a life out at sea, especially with his every move being captured by Bravo cameras, but Adam is well-suited for nomadic living . In fact, he's so untethered to the regular world he doesn't live in a traditional home, instead choosing the vagabond lifestyle that better suits his insatiable desire to be out on the road at all times.

Since his initial introduction to Below Deck viewers, Adam has continued to live by his own rules, remaining true to his brand while simultaneously forging a path back to Bravo for another wild voyage that surpassed both of his previous trips. Although he's not as fame-hungry as some of his contemporaries, Adam expertly utilizes the spotlight to his advantage so he can continue to spread the good word about cooking, living, and loving freely. After all, they don't call him the Adventure Chef for nothing.

Adam became a brand ambassador after starring on Below Deck Mediterranean

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

Adam Glick isn't the kind of guy who could imagine shilling detox teas or mail-order mattresses. When it came to endorse a product, the chef not only chose a food, but a food he loves and eats frequently. As the Below Deck Mediterranean star explained to Heavy , he was contacted by Jazz Apples after having worked with them on recipes in the past.

"We like to think Jazz Apples are the adventure apple, so it was like a match made in heaven ...," he opined. Adam embarked on an 11-day road trip around New York to promote said apples, during which he conducted cooking demonstrations, met fans eager, and discussed why he chose Jazz or, as he likes to call the label, "Adam's apple."

As he explained, "I genuinely believe that you need to endorse products that you trust and that you love. When I, as a chef, eat apples , which I do, you need one that's versatile and that's tasty. The Jazz apple pulls together all of those elements." Adam elaborated on the partnership in an interview with Athleisure magazine, hilariously describing a Jazz Apple as one that "you would take a picture with on the side of the cliff."

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam lives on the road

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

While most people would think living in a van to be a bad situation, that's not the case for Adam Glick. In fact, it was 100 percent his choice to live in his vehicle. As he deadpanned to Decider , "It's a nice van, if that counts for anything." Adam posts almost as many photos of his Quigley van on Instagram as he does of his adorable pet.

In 2018, Adam  revealed  that he once "lived in the back of a pickup truck" and "[spent] ten years traveling on yachts." He continued, "Believe it or not I actually sleep better in confined spaces because of it." Inside, his home-on-wheels does look pretty sweet , particularly after the extensive renovations undertaken by Adam and his father.

Cooking meals in the van isn't an issue for someone used to the tightness of a yacht kitchen, as Adam told Heavy . And, if he ever feels constricted by the space, the Below Deck Mediterranean star just rolls up to the old mechanic shop he shares with a friend in North Hollywood, where the two have built their own "Fantasy Factory," equipped with a basketball court, skate ramp, and plenty more besides, Adam detailed to Decider.

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam took his love of cooking outdoors

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

It didn't take long for  Below Deck Mediterranean 's Adam Glick to take his love of cooking to the great outdoors. Fans can watch his series  Stoked   on Outside TV, where you can see the chef whip up al fresco meals while also touring the country. Each episode typically finds Adam partaking in some kind of adventurous activity wherever his van has taken him and expertly preparing a tasty meal for the locals using just a campfire. The show even led to a partnership with Messermeister, which includes a whole range of Adventure Chef knives ideal for cooking outside.

Season 2 of Stoked kicked off in early 2020, proving there's a huge demand for Adam's rough-and-ready content. Instagram followers can even try to guess where he is on any given day thanks to his " Van Door " Stories, which sees the chef opening up the door of his van to showcase a spectacular view. As Adam explained to Heavy , the allure for him is paring everything back to the essentials. "I realized I had all these big, expensive pans and fancy equipment, but you don't need any of that stuff to make good food," he argued.

Adam rescued his BFF after returning home from Below Deck Mediterranean

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

Adam Glick's BFF is his dog, Tex, who bunks with him and is a major component of everything the chef does. According to his Instagram Stories, the chef actually rescued the dog from the streets in May 2018 after returning from Below Deck Mediterranean and the two have been inseparable ever since. Although Tex is a loyal companion on the road, unfortunately he can't accompany Adam while he's out at sea. When he took a job in Turks and Caicos, for example, his beloved pooch had to stay home. The distance clearly affects the chef as he posted , "Happy to say I'll be back on the adventure with my boy Tex in just two more weeks. And I absolutely cannot wait, I miss him so much!" He'd previously shared how sad Tex was to see him go, too.

Adam subsequently shared an Instagram Story (via CheatSheet ) of his plane landing in San Francisco, writing "home sweet home" alongside the post. The clip finishes with footage of Tex excitedly dashing out to greet his dad when he sees the chef appearing in the driveway. The Below Deck Mediterranean star can't even take a photo of Tex because the dog is so excited.

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam traversed the country multiple times

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

When the question was raised concerning whether Adam Glick would return to Below Deck, after appearing in seasons 2 and 3 of Mediterranean , the Adventure Chef may have sounded a bit hesitant. After all, he'd spent the intervening time traversing the U.S. with doggie Tex in tow, getting down to the nitty gritty with his campfire cooking while also indulging in the kinds of outdoor activities that originally gave him his nickname. "I drove across the country five times," he recalled to Bravo's Daily Dish , explaining that, in doing so, he'd been "dialing in what makes me happy as a chef."

Rather than it putting him off heading back out to sea, however, Adam felt "refreshed." He continued, saying, "I feel like my food's on point, and I feel like I'm ready to go." Although he belongs on the open road with Tex and his van, Adam acknowledged that eventually he had to return to the real world. "At some point, you need to go socialize a little bit more, maybe challenge yourself a little bit more," he said, admitting that when finally he got the call to come back, it was a no-brainer.

Adam returned to the Below Deck fold

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

Adam Glick made his triumphant return to Below Deck aboard the Parsifal III as he joined the ranks of the spinoff show Sailing Yacht . In an interview with Vulture , he explained that it was simply the right time for him to come back. "To be candid with you, when Bravo calls you up and says, 'Hey, you wanna do another series?' you say yes. That's the reality of the situation," he admitted, noting that after spending so long traveling the country in his van, he liked the prospect of "[cruising] out to Greece for six weeks" before ultimately hitting the road again.

The Adventure Chef acknowledged that his Season 2 run on Below Deck Mediterranean was hard because he was still getting used to everything, which was destabilizing for someone who'd already been in the business for a decade and figured he already knew his way around a kitchen.

Adam felt he'd be better equipped for Below Deck  Sailing Yacht.  "Third time's the charm," he said. As for what he learned about cooking on a sailboat , Adam noted, "When you're working, you've got to remember to just work. That's the most important thing."

Adam found love again after Below Deck Mediterranean

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

When speaking to Vulture about Below Deck Sailing Yacht,  Adam Glick hinted at the "many other situations" he got himself into during filming. One of those "situations" had to do with Adam's onscreen dalliance with chief stew Jenna Macgillivray. It was a surprising turn of events for several reasons, chief among them how the chef had already expressed his unwillingness to get involved with someone in the crew again after his love triangle with Malia White and Wes Walton  Below Deck Mediterranean.

"Adam goes through a lot in this season, mostly because of me," Jenna said of Below Deck Sailing yacht when speaking to  Showbiz CheatSheet , noting he showed a real "vulnerability." During a May 2020 appearance on Watch What Happens Live @ Home with Andy Cohen (via Bravo's Daily Dish ), though, Adam confirmed their relationship hadn't survived on land.

However, they keep in contact with each other, with the chef confirming to Cohen, "Yes, in fact, we were just speaking earlier today." Jenna told CheatSheet, for her part, that there would always be feelings there but the relationship is complicated.

This is Adam's favorite chief stew from his time on Below Deck

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

Playing favorites isn't usually a good idea, particularly in a professional environment, like when you're stuck in close quarters out at sea. But Adam Glick isn't afraid of anything  — he is the Adventure Chef after all. When it came time to name his favorite chief stew, Adam didn't hesitate.

"Working with Hannah [Ferrier] and working with Jenna [Macgillivray] is like night and day," he began, during an episode of Below Deck   Sailing Yacht (via Decider ). "Hannah was a cold, long, dark night. Jenna is like a beautiful morning with sun and chirping birds and spring flowers. Night and day!"

Adam and Jenna, who subsequently became involved romantically, clearly hit it off from the outset. In an interview with Bravo's Daily Dish   ahead of the season, they showcased how alike they are. Adam argued he didn't have any advice for Below Deck staff newcomers because they wouldn't listen anyway while Jenna confirmed she wouldn't listen herself. Adam then acknowledged, "Some of us had to learn that the hard way. Or I still haven't learned, actually."

Adam rocked the boat by badmouthing Captain Sandy of Below Deck Mediterranean

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

Below Deck Mediterranean fans will know you don't mess with the beloved Captain Sandy . And yet Adam Glick did just that when he compared her unfavorably to Captain Glenn (the captain under whom he served on Sailing Yacht). In an interview with Vulture ,  he recalled, "When I first met Glenn, I found him to be a bit of a softie. Not that kind of hard-a** 'I'm the captain.'" The chef then went on to argue that "Captain Sandy was a true micromanager compared to Glenn" and he didn't have to "[look] over [his] shoulder" as much with Glenn.

He doubled down on those comments while appearing on the show, telling producers (via Bravo ), "I was perpetually under the microscope with Sandy. So it feels really good to be working with someone that actually trusts the crew."

Captain Sandy, when prompted by a fan on Twitter , admitted she wasn't impressed by Adam's comments, writing that she "was sad to hear that from Adam." She continued, writing, "Hope he learned from his BDM experience and brought something special to [ Below Deck Sailing Yacht ]," she opined.

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam may be done with the boat life for good

Below Deck Mediterranean's Adam Glick

Although Adam Glick was happy to return to the open seas as a crew-member on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, the Adventure Chef isn't convinced the yachting life is for him. Still, he's grateful for the opportunity to grow as a person. While appearing on Watch What Happens Live @ Home with Andy Cohen, he admitted it's very difficult at times but that, ultimately, seeing himself "play out on television for three-plus years has been a rewarding experience." He added, "It's still nice to see yourself and sort of reflect on who you are and how you treat people."

However, Adam acknowledged he isn't usually so hot-tempered in real life situations and therefore wonders whether the yacht life is necessarily the right path for him. In fact, he admitted with a laugh, "I think that the learned lesson for me, in the long run here, is that after 12 years living and working on the open ocean, I'm f***ing over it." For the perpetually chilled-out chef, he said, "I'm ready to have a ranch. I'm ready to live my life on land and grow a beautiful garden."

Below Deck ’s Adam Glick Hopes ‘Third Time’s the Charm’ for Sailing Yacht

Portrait of Justin Curto

Adam Glick likes an adventure. It’s why he chooses to live out of a van traversing the West, surfing and snowmobiling to his heart’s content, and it’s what got the yacht chef into sailing in the first place, on a 9,000-mile surfing trek across the Pacific Ocean. “There I was, cooking lamb chops 3,000 miles from anything,” he says. “You sit back for a second and think to yourself, Goddamn, I’ve got the coolest job on the planet .”

It’s also what brought him back for another round of Below Deck after the highs and lows of his two seasons as chef on Below Deck: Mediterranean . This time, he’s chef on a 180-foot sailing yacht in Greece, as a crew member on the first season of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht , which premiered last night. Not only does he have one of the hardest jobs on a sailboat (to be fair, being on a sailboat doesn’t make anyone’s job easier), he also has one of the hardest on the show, still having to prove to some viewers that he can follow a preference sheet and get along with a crew.

After leaving Below Deck: Mediterranean , what pulled you back to Below Deck: Sailing Yacht ? I think everyone enjoys a little adventure every now and then. To be candid with you, when Bravo calls you up and says, “Hey, you wanna do another series?,” you say yes. That’s the reality of the situation. But after traveling around for such a long time, I thought it would be a good little option to cruise out to Greece for six weeks, and [then] I could get back to my road trip.

So how does one cook on a sailboat? When you’re under sail, it’s a challenge to get around. And from the chef’s perspective, it’s particularly difficult because I’m trying to handle objects that are not intended to be stood up, ever — that is not ideal when you’re on a 30-degree lean for hours straight. And then let’s talk about when the captain doesn’t tell you he’s gonna switch over to the other side, and all your shit that was formerly pushed into a corner on the right has now slid its way to the left and you’ve got a disaster on your hands.

Another role is the size. A sailboat is inherently half the size of a super-yacht. You lose square footage because you’ve got to add that lean, sleek line in order to sail. And in order to do that, you lose deck. Now you’ve got stewards working in small spaces; the chef and the steward are gonna have to work in the tightest of space because she’s not gonna have her own stew pantry, most likely. It’s not stabilized, there’s no stabilizers, so when you’re at anchor, you just are out there rocking and rolling.

On Med , you had this up-and-down relationship with Captain Sandy. I know Captain Glenn says he’s a very hands-on captain, involved. What was it like for you to come onto a boat like that? When I first met Glenn, I found him to be a bit of a softie. Not that kind of hard-ass “I’m the captain.” I’m just like, Okay, this kind of seems cool . Captain Sandy was a true micromanager compared to Glenn. I think you’ll find that I didn’t have to worry about him looking over my shoulder.

It also seems like you’re getting along with Jenna, the chief stew, as well. What was that dynamic like in the beginning? Any time you meet someone on a boat, in general you just have to take it day by day. That was exactly how I approached meeting Jenna — and everyone on the crew, for that matter. But definitely, she seemed like a pretty cool woman. I look at my work to be the most important thing, and if anything else came along, I might entertain the idea, but first and foremost came providing for my clients.

You’re talking about wanting to focus on the food — was that the main change you wanted to make going into this season, or were there others as well? There’s only so much you can change about the way a show comes together and the way you presented yourself during the course of those six weeks. I felt [season two] of Below Deck: Med was rough — I learned the ropes the hard way, and it wasn’t particularly fun, particularly for a seasoned yacht chef who thought he knew what he was doing after 10 years. Coming back [on season three], I felt I did really well. I didn’t have any issues with the crew, and it was really more about making sure the food was great for the guests. And I proved I was capable of doing that. So coming back, third time’s the charm. There’s always gonna be hiccups, no matter what, but I would say for the most part, the food was great.

What do you think you learned from this season, as someone who has been a yacht chef for so long? When you’re working, you’ve got to remember to just work. That’s the most important thing. I do a pretty darn good job of that this season, considering how many other situations I get myself into. [ Laughs ]

I have to ask: Did you watch the last season of Below Deck: Med ? Yeah, I haven’t seen everything, but I got the gist of it.

What was your take on all the chef drama ? From what I can tell, they’ve had some trouble finding a decent chef on Sandy’s boat — well, and Lee’s boat , so I guess the whole franchise is missing a decent chef at the moment.

Maybe you can be that! On Below Deck: Med you’ve flat-out said, “I know I can be a dick,” basically. Yeah.

Do you think you’re still a dick? I think personality traits don’t just disappear. We’re always gonna have that. I think what I didn’t say was that I also have a pretty tender side, and I can be pretty emotional as well — just rounding out the human personality. I can be a dick when I haven’t slept in 40 days and I’ve got guests yelling down my throat about something I’ve poured my heart and soul into. When that’s not the case, I can be a completely different person.

I do think you bring a sort of wisdom to the show, almost like someone to talk people down or be there to sober up the situation. I feel like having the galley as a place for people to come where they know they can vent a little bit or talk about what’s frustrating them elsewhere, it’s just a very commonplace thing. It’s your kitchen at home: People come, and they talk shit. And that’s basically the exact same thing. It just happens on a boat, and it’s filmed.

Here’s What the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Currently Up to Now

Are Jenna and Adam still together?

below deck sailing yacht season 1

After the massive success of Below Deck and its spinoff Below Deck Med , Bravo decided to test the waters on a new iteration of its hit series earlier this year. That's where Below Deck: Sailing Yacht came in, taking place on a luxury sailing boat, the Parsifal III, adrift in the Ionian Sea.

From a spontaneous proposal failing spectacularly to a joke about being breastfed as an adult, Sailing Yacht was as much a dramatic success as the other franchises. It also left fans wondering about what's happening to the crew since the show wrapped. Did chief stew Jenna and chef Adam stay together? What's going on with Georgia's music? And most important—is Captain Glenn really as cool as we think he is?

Here's what the cast of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht is up to now:

Jenna MacGillivray

When the Canadian stepped onto the Parsifal III, fans got exactly what they hoped for in a chief stew—a no-nonsense leader who also had a romantic spot in her heart for the chef in the galley. Though her relationship with Adam Glick proved to be tumultuous, the two dated for some time after the season wrapped, even taking some time to road-trip together.

These days, Jenna is enjoying some time off from yachting, but given her recent IG pics, she's excited to come back to another charter season.

Madison Stalker

Wherever Madison went, drama always seemed to follow the second stew during season one of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . In between epic meltdowns (including a major one between her and Jenna over her lack of enthusiasm for her job), she left the boat a better person and leaving fans ready to see more from their new favorite cast member.

Judging by her Instagram account, she's taken a break from yachting (perhaps until next season of the show).

Georgia Grobler

As good of a third stew Georgia was on deck, fans were more invested in her budding music career and growing feelings for a very taken Paget. She proved she was great at her job and could make a career out of yachting.

While it's unclear whether she stayed in the yachting industry post- Sailing Yacht , Georgia's working on music, premiering new music videos on IGTV during the quarantine.

Below Deck Med fans were so excited when Adam joined the crew as the chef for Sailing Yacht . While he abided by the preference sheets this time around, he also began a rocky romance with chief stew Jenna, making most of the crew members wonder if he was there for his job or the girl.

Since the show wrapped, Adam's busy onshore, cooking, and traveling with his adorable puppy. Oh, and Adam has a web series, Stoked , where he travels across the country to meet with local chefs and learn about their regions... all while over a campfire.

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan

If there was any couple to root for from the entire Below Deck franchise, it's Paget and Ciara. The duo made a great team on deck, and mostly kept their relationship to a minimum on cameras—a first for Bravo! As they were the most familiar with the Parsifal III, the couple was the most reliable, and fans loved seeing their relationship continue blossoming post-filming.

These days, the couple has a lot to be excited about—they're now engaged. While they're soaking up their romantic bliss, they're also still working in yachting, although it's sadly on separate boats.

Byron Hissey

As the chief engineer of Parsifal III, Byron was clearly there to just do his job. But, given how he was the only cast member to have a wife and child back home, he also became the dad of the group, taking care of the other crew members.

Since filming wrapped, it looks like Byron is back on a boat doing exactly what he does best—fixing and making sure the engines run smoothly.

Parker McCown

Relatively new to the yachting industry, fans are more likely to remember the deckhand for his enraged rant about being breastfed by his mother. While he didn't necessarily have all the skills to make it as a deckhand, he definitely had a soft spot for his ex-girlfriend Kaiti, whom he eventually left Parsifal III to go back to at home.

It looks like the decision to leave the show worked out for Parker, as he's now engaged to Kaiti and writing some tunes while onshore.

Chris Miller

As Parker's replacement for the latter half of the season, Chris proved a great deckhand and an asset to the team, all while battling an injury.

These days, Chris seems to be taking some time off from yachting to travel across Europe.

Captain Glenn Sheppard

Captain Glenn was tough, fair, and not afraid to have a good time, which both crew and guests very much appreciated.

Thankfully, his reality TV experience hasn't turned him off yachting forever. Glenn is still the captain for Parsifal III and traveling through the Mediterranean.

Chef Adam Was on TV Long Before His 'Below Deck' Days

Updated June 5 2020, 1:09 p.m. ET

The latest spinoff of Below Deck , called Sailing Yacht , is not for the faint of heart. This new series takes us aboard Parsifal III, a luxury sailing yacht kind of like the ones we're used to on Below Deck and Below Deck Med , except everyone on board now has the added challenge of constantly being at the whim of the wind.

Per the spinoff's official description, "the crew's already difficult job gets tougher" when the sails go up, "as they must contend with maneuvering the sails in high winds and adapting to the steep tilt of the boat, all while troubleshooting the needs of the guests and any issues that may arise."

While everyone's jobs might be a bit more labor-intensive than we're used to seeing on the successful Bravo franchise, no one ever has it harder than the yacht's chef.

This time around, Chef Adam Glick, a familiar face from Captain Sandy's Below Deck Med seasons in Croatia and Italy, is cooking aboard the sailing yacht. Keep reading for everything you need to know.

Chef Adam has been all over the country since his time on 'Below Deck Med'.

"Between my time off from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht , I've been able to travel all over the United States," Chef Adam tells The Daily Dish . "I drove across the country five times. I've just been cooking outdoors over a campfire, really kind of dialing in what makes me happy as a chef."

"So coming back this year, I feel refreshed, I feel like my food's on point, and I feel like I'm ready to go," the chef continued. "It's gonna be a great season."

Adam has been a chef on yachts for over 10 years now, but began his education at a four-year university in California and instead pursued a career in culinary arts at The Art Institute of California in San Diego. According to his website , Adam finished with a degree in Culinary Management.

'Below Deck' isn't even his first time on TV! Here's where you've seen him before.

First of all, we have to urge you to follow Chef Adam on Instagram . When he's not cooking for wealthy yacht guests, he photographs the trips he takes with his dog Tex around the country, and let's just say the 35-year-old knows his way around a camera.

But we were excited to learn that before becoming the chef we know and love on Bravo, Adam also competed on a Food Network show, Cutthroat Kitchen , back in 2013. "Chef Glick gets it. Period," reads his Food Network bio. "He understands the hard work and dedication that goes into growing and bringing fresh products to market, which is why he treats each fresh ingredient on his cutting board with respect, allowing it to speak for itself from a flavor and color perspective in any given dish."

"In fact, while he's at sea, Chef Glick is proficient at catching and foraging for the ingredients that he uses to make the next meal on-board," it continues.

While we haven't quite seen much of his foraging side, we'd welcome the opportunity to watch him fish on Sailing Yacht !

New episodes air Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Trailer Revealed: ‘Cheers To Being Dramatic’

Batten down the hatches. The trailer for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 just arrived. It’s messy, and as expected, we will soon see the faces of Daisy Kelliher and Gary King back onboard. When these two yachties last saw each other, they were at odds, and as Season 5 teases, not much has changed.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Trailer looks promising, in all the messy, dramatic ways

“Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight ,” Daisy explains at the start of the trailer. “The breakup did a number on me last year. I felt very broken. But now, I’m coming back in more focused, full of energy, and I f*cking good at my job. And I’m taking back the reigns,” she quips, like a boss bish.

“It’s gonna be a sh*t show,” Daisy continues, as the cameras expertly cut to her yelling at Gary, the literal definition of her words. “Guess what? We have a f*cking job to do, and I’m not f*cking carrying this season on my own, you f*cking prick!”

Luckily for Daisy, a new beau is onboard to help distract her from last season’s love triangle mess . Deckhand Keith Allen catches her eyes, and it seems her affections are shared, as Keith asks Gary, “Daisy would make a good wife. No?”

Gary laughs. But Captain Glenn Shephard is not laughing, as several beats later, his crew entertains their charter guests a bit too hard on land.

“You guys went out with some guests. I set some ground rules. Two drinks maximum. You knew the rules, you broke the f*cking rules, and now you’re here, getting upset,” a frustrated Captain Glenn tells his team, as Daisy later states that she is “f*cking done.”

There’s also blood , broken dishes, a fire, and lots more. But sadly, there is no Colin MacRae .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 premieres on Monday, October 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

It wouldn't be a Below Deck show without a little boat-mance, right?

The latest installment in the franchise , Below Deck Sailing Yacht , came in with a pre-existing couple (hello, Ciara and Paget!), but also may have sparked a little something between chef Adam Glick and chief stew Jenna MacGillivray. Upon meeting Adam, Jenna immediately proclaimed he was "cute" in a confessional. Promos from the season show Jenna also calling him "hot," with the pair appearing to get a little flirty over the course of their charter season. So naturally, when Jenna and Adam dropped by ET, the status of their relationship came up.

"Adam and I have a great respect for one another and we, I think that we both respect our positions," Jenna tells ET when asked to define their relationship. "I would say we have a complicated relationship. We… yeah, how would you describe it?"

"Complicated is a great word to describe the relationship," Adam jumps in to answer. "I mean, you go out and you do this incredible thing for six, seven weeks with someone and, no matter what, you've created a love and a bond under all circumstances, you know? So, you just kinda, gotta -- well, first you're gonna have to watch and see where it ends up, but she and I definitely, everything's amicable."

The duo promises viewers will find out just how far Adam and Jenna took things onboard sailing yacht Parsifal III this season. For what it's worth, Jenna says she wishes she would have bunked up with Adam instead of her second and third stews in the crew quarters.

"We'll ease into it," Adam jokes. "By like, an episode."

"I mean, if my dating history is any indication, clearly I move quickly," Jenna adds, referencing the montage of photos that played out as she recapped her dating history in the premiere episode, Jenna posing with a series of ex-boyfriends, all of whose faces were blurred out.

"One day, there's a chance [Adam] might be in a picture with me with his blanked-out face," she jests.

If it's any indicator of how Adam feels toward Jenna, though, he admits he would choose to work with her over the Below Deck franchise's other chief stews, Kate Chastain from the OG show and Hannah Ferrier from Mediterranean edition. Adam, of course, appeared on Below Deck Med with Hannah.

"It feels… so good," Jenna says upon hearing that, though she adds that she would prefer to be judged on her own merit and not compared to the other franchise stars. She was a casual viewer of the show before, so she's familiar with both women's work. Plus she says, since filming Below Deck Sailing Yacht , she's become friendly with Kate.

"She knows that, she knows she's great at her job," Adam declares.

"I mean I work my butt off," Jenna notes. "Sometimes it comes across as harsh, but I get the job done and I make the guests happy -- and I have yet to ever have feedback from guests in my career tell me something that's wrong with my service."

"My work and my job is exemplified by her, or whoever is doing her job," Adam says. "And she exemplified my food the best."

Chef/chief stew relationships have always been tricky on Below Deck , with communication issues always popping up and leading to fights. But, from the sounds of it, Adam and Jenna's professional relationship was smooth sailing.

"We've had trouble with some of our stews in the past, and Jenna is incredible with [communication]," he says. "She was so good at telling me, you know this is happening, 'I just want to let you know…' 'Adam, don't get mad at me, but you know…' And I don't think she had to tip-toe that much. She would just come in and tell me what's happening, I would adjust and away we would go."

Rolling with the punches is apparently a theme aboard a sailing yacht. Well, rolling with the waves. While the guest experiences may look pretty similar -- Jenna says the size of a sailing yacht and that of a motor yacht, like viewers have seen on the other iterations of the show, are comparable, as is the price it costs to charter the ships -- the crew experience can be wildly different.

"It brings in a different breed of person to join a sailboat, compared to motor yachts," Jenna offers. "Motor yachts for me, the crew that go on motor yachts are primarily about being seen, getting the money, having the luxuries. And I think more sail yachties are in it for the passion."

"I feel like this series is most like what I've experienced in a decade of yachting, you know?" Adam shares. "It just felt homier. It just felt more like the real deal to me. And I think for that reason, it's going to be above and beyond the others."

“There's a moment on our show where it's different because it's now become an adventure,” he says. “And that's never happened in any of the series before. You know, it's the same interior drama, and the crew the pain in the butt, yada, yada, yada. But, for one, moment the engines shut down, the crew goes out and they hoist that sail up, and it gets quiet and there's just this majesty to what we're doing, in addition to everything Below Deck is doing.”

That sail comes with its own complications, though. It can catch enough wind to basically turn the vessel on its side.

“For me cooking, obviously, what a challenge,” Adam adds. “I mean, having everything pushed into a 30-plus degree angle, I mean, your whole life -- liquids, you know, sharp knives, round objects -- all fair game, go flying, hit the floor. I mean, hit me, it was such a concern for me, I had to invent a knife that folds in half and closes, so I don't have to have that hazard around me anymore.”

And then, there are the human hazards. Jenna and Adam promise wild charter guests, including some from  Below Deck  that fans might recognize, plus loads of crew drama. Living in such close quarters can make tensions high (hello, it's what the show is based around!); plus, Sailing Yacht is the first of the franchise to start with a partial crew already aboard the ship -- Captain Glenn Shepard, First Mate Paget Berry and deckhand Ciara Duggan had been living aboard Parsifal for months. It was almost as if the rest of the crew was moving into the trio's home, with photos of Paget and Ciara hanging on the crew mess' walls. But, while it may feel strange to fans, Adam and Jenna say it's actually pretty typical.

"Honestly, it felt normal to me," Adam says. "Generally when you walk onto a boat for the first time, it's fairly -- there's usually a family vibe. It's pretty common to have crew pictures on the walls."

It's, apparently, also typical to have pre-existing romances, like Ciara and Paget's, onboard.

"I will say this, it was very fun to watch because I love watching couples navigate through troubled waters," Jenna confesses. "It's interesting and you learn from it. And so yeah, there's definitely moments from the season that they definitely… challenge each other."

Now, something that is out of the ordinary is deckhand Parker McCown confronting Paget in the season trailer over whether Paget finds it funny that Parker is still breastfed by his mother.

"It's exactly what it sounds like," Adam teases.

"Honestly, there's some context to that which will come out," Jenna adds. "I don't know exactly when but it will, and it will be better when it comes out naturally."

"Just as his mom might've said, it might be better for you when you just stop breastfeeding naturally," she continues, with a laugh.

Why Below Deck Sailing Yacht Didn’t Bring Jenna MacGillivray Back After Season 1

Jenna MacGillivray Below Deck Sailing Yacht

The first season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht had Bravo fans hook, line and sinker. It took the original premise of Below Deck and intensified it into a more confining space. Oddly enough, though, none of the crew (save the captain) returned for the highly anticipated Season 2, which premiered on March 1. Fans were left wondering, why was chief stewardess Jenna MacGillivray not brought back?

Ahead of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 premiere, Captain Glenn Shepherd and executive producer Jill Goslicky revealed in an AMA on Reddit why Jenna MacGillivray did not come back. What it, essentially, boils down to is exactly what MacGillivray was accused of not having last season: professionalism . Goslicky said,

The short is answer - we absolutely wanted Jenna to have the staying power of Kate and Hannah. In our dream scenario, every cast member we bring on board is such a hit they carry on for seasons and seasons. I also genuinely loved working with Jenna - she gets a lot of flack on social media, but she truly was great to work with. I think if I’m being truly honest… Jenna got swept up in a boatmance… and I think in that way, she didn’t allow herself to shine and show how amazing she truly is.

The relationship between chief stew Jenna MacGillivray and chef Adam Glick on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was the key drama of the season. They would often make out in front of the crew and talk smack in private about them. Though it was often a little over the top, and not to mention nauseating, it made for great reality television as they isolated themselves from the group.

Captain Glenn Shephard reflected,

I think the situation with Adam [Glick] - they would have been better postponing getting involved until the season was done. If I can see everything happening between Adam and Jenna in real time, I would probably tell them to tone it down and focus more on work than their personal lives.

The assertion that Jenna MacGillivray’s boatmance is the reason why she didn't return for Season 2 sounds more like MacGillivray's own reason. Fans were critical of her emotional entanglements while working, but they no doubt have always loved a stone-cold chief stew with an attitude. Hannah Ferrier and Kate Chastain set this precedent on Below Deck .

Jill Goslicky said that when the Below Deck producers and Bravo discuss bringing back previous crew members, the main question is: “Do they have compelling reasons for their story to continue on in the show?” Jenna MacGillivray has the most compelling reason out of the whole first season crew to come back on the show. At the reunion show of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , fans awkwardly learned that the two lovebirds were no longer together.

A similar occurrence happened on Below Deck: Mediterranean . Stewardess Aesha Scott got hot and heavy with Jack Stirrup on Season 4, only for fans to find out about a brutal breakup that involved cheating with an ex-girlfriend. But she had the last laugh when she came back for Season 5! Then again, Scott maintained a hero's role throughout her season, not MacGillivray's villain one.

Jill Goslicky teased that there is still potential for a Jenna MacGillivray comeback story. She hinted at the fact that many times crew will take off and return in a later season.

As for Below Deck Sailing Yacht , the new season just started, with promises of drama , cheating, and COVID complications . Tune in to Bravo on Mondays at 9pm EST to watch.

Below Deck Couples Still Together

Fred Jagueneau/Bravo(4)

Which ‘Below Deck’ Couples Are Still Together After Finding Romance During Charter Season?

Christina Anstead Dating History

When working side by side with someone 24 hours a day for six to eight weeks straight in cramped conditions, it’s easy to catch feelings ! That’s what’s happened to a number of crew members on the Below Deck franchise, who have fallen for each other while working during charter season. So, which boatmances have stood the test of time, as well as distance?

Whether it’s Below Deck , Below Deck Mediterranean , Below Deck Sailing Yacht or Below Deck Down Under , getting a group of young people from across the globe together who love to work hard and party harder is a recipe for hookup action. And while there have been plenty of frisky physical escapades between crew mates, some have turned into actual couples .

The most recent duo to reveal they were dating after leaving the show was Ben Willoughby and Sunny Marquis , much to the shock of fans.

Bosun Ben ended up in another boatmance in Below Deck season 11. However, he made it clear to lead deckhand Sunny that they were basically a hookup and nothing more. At one point, he even called ex-girlfriend Camille Lamb from season 10 to ask if she wanted to hang out when he returned to Florida after the charter season. When she shot him down, Ben continued to have a passionate physical romance with Sunny, who had fallen hard for her boss, but didn’t want to get emotionally involved. The pair left the St. David together with the intention of seeing where things might go, although viewers were fairly convinced after Ben’s behavior all season that they were just a showmance.

Fans were floored when the day after the season finale aired on May 27, 2024, Ben took to Instagram to reveal the pair were dating and very much together.

“Yes, you guessed it, we are still together! Finally we can let go of the secrecy that has been held for the past 15 months,” he wrote in the caption of a series of photos showing the pair.

“We want to thank you all for the support throughout season 11 @belowdeckbravo. It’s been a rollercoaster to relive the season and the beginning of a relationship. We ended up traveling the globe together last year and Sunny made her way to Australia for Christmas. Anyways, hoping you all enjoyed the season,” Ben added.

Culver Bradbury and Jaimee Neale

The deckhand fell hard for stew Jaimee when she came aboard the Northern Star halfway through  Below Deck Down Under  season 2. Soon they were flirting and making out, and Culver decided he wanted to take things to the next level. He asked Jamie to be his girlfriend via a handwritten card where he professed her feelings for her and had her check off a “yes” or “no” box. Feeling pressured, Jamiee checked “yes” although she thought they were moving too fast after knowing each other for only a few weeks. That night, the pair got their own guest room aboard the boat to be intimate for the first time.

Their romance had the potential of continuing through another charter season, as one of Culver’s former captains inquired about hiring him for the summer Mediterranean season and needed a stew as well, to which the Maryland native recommended his girlfriend. While Jamiee wasn’t sure if she wanted their boatmance to continue aboard another vessel, she agreed, in part because she’d always wanted to work and play in the Med and was willing to have another adventure with Culver.

Jaimee became deeply attracted to handsome new lead deckhand  Luka Brunton  when he arrived to work on the final charters of the season, regretting getting together with Culver so quickly. The pair drunkenly kissed in a bar after the charter season ended, which Jaimee confessed to Culver, claiming she didn’t remember it. The duo left the boat as a couple although their Med offer fell through. Chief stew Aesha Scott revealed during  Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen  following the September 18, 2023, finale that the pair took a month-long road trip along Australia’s Western Coastline but that the couple did not mesh well off the boat and called it quits.

João Franco and Tzarina Mace-Ralph

Chef Tzarina was shocked when João came aboard as the Northern Star’s second officer after bosun Luke Jones was fired during Below Deck Down Under season 2. The pair had known each other for several years, as he hooked up with one of her close friends while she had a fling with one of his pals. “Cheffy” as she was known on the boat didn’t think highly of him after how he treated her friend, but João proved he was a changed man as the two grew close, as he showed off his caring and tender side. While the Zimbabwe native wanted to pursue a boatmance, Tzarina fought back her feelings as to not upset her friend until the September 4, 2023 episode of the show where they finally made out and hooked up.

The pair are no longer together, as João celebrated his one-year dating anniversary on June 12, 2023 with fellow yachtie Domi Tiesi , as they work on the same boat. Domi shared a gushing Instagram post about their life together.

“One year …  I fell for you so quick and so strong, there was no turning back even after the first week and I feel the same way now. I never thought a year can pass by so quickly. If you love every moment of it, it just flies by… we have traveled to over 20 countries, lived in 2 and are now exploring the seas together working side by side. I love you and our adventures and can’t wait for all the years to come,” she wrote.

daisy kelliher colin macrae romance

Fred Jagueneau/Bravo (2)

Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae

Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht found chief engineer Colin without a girlfriend back home for the first time in three seasons. He and chief stew Daisy found themselves drawn into a full-on boatmance.

“I knew Colin was single and there’s kind of always been something between me and Colin. So, in a way I was surprised, but I also wasn’t surprised, if that makes sense,” she told In Touch exclusively ahead of the season premiere.

“There were little moments that we’d like maybe brush hands or look at each other that I don’t think anyone else really picked up on. But I would kind of be like, oh a moment that lasted a little bit longer and it’s like, ‘is this something?’” she explained, adding, “But he always had a girlfriend, so I always just friend zoned in the whole situation and never kind of expected anything more.”

The pair went from making out to sleeping in each other’s bunks in no time flat. But their bliss hit a major roadbump when Daisy revealed that she and first mate Gary King slept together twice after season 3 ended.

“You f–ked Gary?” Colin asked her incredulously, telling her it was “bulls–t” that they secretly hooked up and neither Daisy nor Gary told him before the pair embarked on a relationship.

“The chemistry that they have, the way that they look at each other, I thought it was all friends. It all makes sense now,” an angry Colin said in a confessional.

Gary, who was hooking up with junior stew Mads Herrera during the season, assuring Colin there was nothing going on between him and Daisy, despite the two having playful hugs and kisses. After much consideration, Colin agreed to continue his boatmance with the Dublin native after she assured him there was nothing going on with her longtime crew mate. But things came to a head in the June 19, 2023, episode when she accidentally called Colin “Gary” while the pair were in bed.

He stormed out of the bunk and Daisy later explained to Gary of the love triangle, “There’s two of you in my head. You’re both f–king with my head. I want you out of my head.”

“In regard to worrying about their friendship, I did worry. I definitely didn’t want to break up a friendship or anything like that. That’s the last thing I would’ve wanted. I was kind of expecting Gary to maybe kick off a bit, but not quite to the extent he did,” Daisy explained in her exclusive interview.

Gary King and Daisy Kelliher

While on season 3 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Gary hooked up with several different shipmates, including a hot tub makeout session with chief stew Daisy. Despite his several trysts, Gary said he was in love with Daisy. However, despite a moment during the June 2022 reunion episode where they shared an embrace, Daisy set the record straight that they were just friends. She told E! News in February, “Our relationship is very platonic. We care about each other and like I said we’re both affectionate people, so affection can sometimes lead to kissing. But no, we’re just friends.”

During season 4, it was revealed that the two did more than just make out. “Having sex with you was f–king amazing,” Gary confessed after Daisy and chief engineer Colin had embarked on a boatmance, made all the more complicated by the fact that he was Gary’s best friend.

Daisy eventually revealed to Colin that she and Gary hooked up in Menorca, Spain, after season 3 wrapped, and again in California after a trip to Disneyland. It made Colin re-evaluate his romance with Daisy, especially since she and Gary still had a deeply flirtatious relationship. Things were made even worse when Daisy called Colin by Gary’s name while the pair were in bed together.

Gary told In Touch exclusively  ahead of the season that he was shocked by Daisy and his close pal’s romance. “Maybe Colin’s just a better person than I am. Maybe Daisy sees something more in him that she sees in me,” he explained, noting he wasn’t bitter about it.

“The only thing I can do is be supportive. They’re both good friends of mine, but it did come as a massive shock to me,” the South Africa native added.

Ben Willoughby and Camille Lamb

The  Below Deck  season 10 deckhand and the controversial deck/stewardess immediately clicked romantically, making out on the group’s first dinner out and later took their passion to the St. David’s hot tub. By the time the fourth charter rolled around, Ben and Camille had sex in his bunk after a boozy off-duty evening, much to the horror of his roommate, Tony Duarte , who was awake in the bunk below them. Earlier in the evening, Ben confessed that he hadn’t had a relationship in more than two and a half years and was really enjoying being with Camille.

At the time of their hookup, Camille was on the verge of getting fired by Captain Sandy Yawn for her poor attitude and lack of interest in any of her work duties, and ended up getting the boot as Ben was falling hard for her.

The pair kept in touch and made plans to take a vacation together to the Dominican Republic once charter season had ended. The March 20, 2023, season finale saw Ben looking forward to meeting up with Camille again after being tempted by replacement stew Leigh-Ann Smith. He let fans know what happened with their romance once the cameras stopped rolling.

“Dominican Republic was something we both needed to say the least, we genuinely had a spark comparable to that of a primary school crush,” Ben wrote in a March 21  Instagram  post showing video from their getaway. “Sadly, soon after we decided that this wasn’t meant to be and being honest that was a very tough pill to swallow. We are not together anymore in a perfect world it would have been something of a fairytale,” he added. However, Ben cherished the romance they had.

“We both organically fell in love with one another and had many, many memories to share throughout this whole @belowdeckbravo journey,” he continued. “My advice to anyone out there is to follow your heart in any direction is may lead even if you know it may hurt, because that makes you….. you…. At the end of the day! Always with love Ben & Camille.”

Ben Willoughby and Leigh-Ann Smith

After Alissa Humber’s firing, Leigh-Ann joined the St. David interior crew only to find her year-long sexting pal Ben was a crew member aboard the ship. It was the first time the two met in person after months of flirting and sending naked photos to each other. Their chemistry proved to be even more intense in person than online, and Leigh-Ann was determined to make something happen, even though Ben was still in contact with Camille.

The Australia native had a post-charter season trip to the Dominican Republic planned with Camille, but he eventually realized that their romance wouldn’t last long afterwards.

“Part of me’s just like, ‘Live in the moment.’ I haven’t got a title with Camille. Why don’t you just see what happens?” Ben said in a teaser for the March 20 episode. He’s also seen passionately making out with Leigh-Ann and they later head into a guest cabin together and close the door, indicating they hooked up before the season ended.

But it wasn’t meant to be. Despite some kissing and snuggling on their final night together before leaving the St. David for good , Ben admitted he was too crazy about Camille to sleep with Leigh-Ann, much to her disappointment. They went their separate ways and friends and vowed to stay in touch.

The pair still appear to be friendly, as Leigh-Ann shared a photo from a beach outing during the second to last charter with her arm around Ben in a March 6, 2023, Instagram post. “Could you even get a better beach set up crew?” she asked in the caption while tagging Ben and Katie.

Which 'Below Deck' Couples Are Still Together After Finding Romance During Charter Season?

Ross McHarg and Katie Glaser

The  Below Deck season 10 bosun and his deckhand had chemistry from the start, kissing after an early beach outing. But Ross’ wandering eye caused him to have an ongoing flirtation with stew Alissa Humber , especially after drinking too much during crew dinners and partying aboard the yacht post-charter.

Ross and Katie eventually had sex in a guest cabin, and he decided to cut off the love triangle with Alissa. “I’ve made an active decision with Katie that her and I are going to be just her and I,” he explained in the February 13, 2023, episode. While the pair enjoyed a fun boatmance, it didn’t continue once the season ended.

Before the final charter of the season, Ross decided their attempt at a relationship wasn’t working, as they had given it “three to four” tries and the pair kept ending up in fights where Katie felt he disrespected her. The two decided to enjoy the short time they had left aboard the St. David before parting ways.

“We both live on opposite sides of the world — he went his way after the show and I went mine,” Floridian Katie told  E! News  of the Asia-based Englishman “At the end of the day we decided that it was what it was on the boat and after the boat we both went our separate ways,” she continued, while adding, “I am single. I’m just enjoying life right now.”

Ross admitted earlier in the season that his longest romance was with  Below Deck  season 8 stew  Elizabeth Frankini . “We were together on and off for four years. I guess we just broke each other’s hearts on multiple occasions in that relationship, which is why I don’t want a relationship at the moment,” he said in a confessional before deciding to commit to Katie.

Storm Smith and Natalya Scudder

Calling her his “kryptonite”, the provisional bosun had a thing for the brunette Australian stewardess on season 7. The two exchanged cheeky banter on their nights out and things only started heating up when the pair spent their evenings sleeping in the same cabin.

“I’ve never had good experiences with boyfriends,” she confessed during a solo confessional with producers in August 2022. “So, I have got trust issues, but with Storm, we’re a little bit romantic.”

While the two shared a steamy romance during the charter season, Storm has seemingly gone Instagram official with a new girlfriend following filming.

“Happy birthday boks,” he shared in a birthday tribute to his new girlfriend in July 2022, alongside loved-up pictures of them on vacation in Lake Como, Italy. “Life is beautiful with ya Chloe.”

Below-Deck-boat-mances

Natasha Webb and Dave White

The chief stewardess and chef of Below Deck Mediterranean season 7 find themselves in a sticky situation after they become romantically involved on board. The pair previously worked on a boat together and told the fellow crew they were just “friends” despite sharing clear chemistry.

“On our last boat, me and Tash, we got together,” the chef explained to producers in a July 2022 episode. “Tash asked me to keep it a secret because she was still with her boyfriend, but I’m struggling to keep it a secret.”

However, after a drunk night, Dave decides he can’t keep up with the lie and tells the crew of their past. Not happy with Natasha’s reaction, he sends her heated text messages that almost get him fired.

Following a meeting with Captain Sandy, the two continued to awkwardly cohabitate in their work environment.

In August 2022, Natasha revealed she was in a new relationship when she thanked him for his support following her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen .

“Over half a million of you live viewers watching Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Bravo last Monday, thank you so much to each and everyone one of you for watching us & all your support & beautiful kind messages,” she shared alongside a carousel of photos of her trip to New York for filming. “I want to thank all my family & friends truly for your support throughout this whole journey … to my absolutely amazing supportive boyfriend, Max, big sister & gorgeous Mama & Dad, I wouldn’t be who I am today without you all.”

Malia White and Jake Baker

Though the hunky engineer was only seen onscreen briefly during Below Deck Med season 6, he and bosun Malia clicked. Once filming ended, the pair embarked on a romance that Malia revealed during a September 27, 2021, appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen . She shared that Jake made the first move and that they didn’t become an item until after filming for the season had ended. The couple is still going strong, seen above in an Instagram photo she posted from the Florida Keys on February 13, 2022.

However, by October, it seems things have gotten shaky between Jake and Malia. The Florida native seemingly scrubbed her Instagram of photos of her partner and shared cryptic quotes via her Instagram Story hinting at a possible split.

“Remember the time you confused a life lesson for a soulmate?” one message read, while she added “100%” as a caption. In another slide, she uploaded a photo of her travels, captioning the picture, “Ready for my next chapter.”

Malia confirmed in December 2022 that she and Jake had broken up. The yachtie became the subject of rumors that she was involved with Below Deck Med season six chief stew Katie Flood , as the pair shared numerous photos with each other on their respective Instagram accounts.

Katie addressed the situation in a May 2023, Instagram Q&A when a fan asked if the ladies were dating.

“No. We are best friends that work and live together and have a lot of other amazing opportunities that we get to do together. We are so [lucky] to have each other and get to work towards our goals, dreams and our futures side by side of each other. She’s my work wifey for life,” Katie wrote.

Below Deck Couples

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan

The first Below Deck crew mate engagement … that is no more!  Paget and Ciara had worked together on yachts for three out of their five years as a couple, but fans got to know the pair on season 1 of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht . First mate Paget proposed to deckhand Ciara on July 9, 2020, with the couple each sharing celebratory photos to their respective Instagram accounts.

There wasn’t a happily ever after though, as Ciara revealed to Us Weekly in April 2021 that the pair had split the prior December, explaining, “I loved him, but I think I was not in love.”

She added that not being in close quarters on a boat with Paget made her see their relationship differently. “There were a lot of reasons that it kind of broke down. Being in France, we weren’t quarantining, we weren’t stuck together or anything like that,” she told the publication. “We were there just kind of living life, but you know, I was taking temporary jobs and I just kind of realized throughout taking those jobs that I was happier on my own for a lot of reasons.”

As for Paget, following his relationship with Ciara, the England native moved on into a new relationship with his girlfriend, Johana Mills. The pair announced their engagement on August 21, 2022.

“I was very lucky myself to meet a ‘Harbor town girl’ last year who showed me the sights and sounds of Newport when I first arrived on a boat,” he wrote alongside a series of loved-up clips of their adventures traveling the world. “There is no one I’d rather laugh, life with, cry, dance, and attempt all sorts of accents with than you Johana, I am so proud of you and all that you are achieving, and I am super stoked to be your fiancé and future husband.”

Dani Soares and Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux Below Deck Couples Where Are They Now

The pair’s onboard passion was adorable, as Dani mended her broken heart with eight-years younger JL, who admittedly had never been in a real relationship with a woman. Once the charter season ended, Dani found out she was pregnant, which she revealed to fans via Instagram in April 2021 while their season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht was still airing on Bravo!

JL didn’t want to commit to fatherhood until a paternity test was done, which apparently took quite a while to do internationally. He didn’t admit to being the father of Dani’s daughter Lilly Rose until a January 19, 2022, Instagram post. JL pledged that even though he would be away for extended periods at sea while Dani was in Sydney, Australia, raising Lilly, he would do his best to be there “for the sake of our daughter as she needs both parents in her life.”

Malia White and Tom Checketts

It was Malia’s boyfriend to the rescue during season 5 of  Below Deck Med  when Captain Sandy Yawn fired her existing chef mid-season. Chef Tom came aboard the Lady Michelle to finish out the charters, with Malia frequently stepping into the gallery to help the easily frazzled cook. His quick temper turned off many other crew members, driving one to tears. The pair remained a couple after the season ended but went to work on separate boats. Tom allegedly cheated on Malia with one of his new shipmates, causing the bosun to break things off.

Aesha Scott and Jack Stirrup Below Deck Couples Where Are They Now

Greg Endries/Bravo (2)

Aesha Scott and Jack Stirrup

One of the sweetest boatmances occurred on Below Deck Med season 4 between second stew Aesha and deckhand Jack. Their flirtation turned into a a full-on romance, with Jack enlisting fellow crew mates to help him pull off a grand gesture in asking Aesha to officially be his girlfriend. She happily accepted, and it seemed as if the two lovebirds would sail off into the sunset to a happy post-season life together.

But once the charter was over, Jack ghosted Aesha. He revealed during the Bravo After Show on October 1, 2019, that when he got home to England, “I thought it was a bit of a forced situation. It wasn’t reality. I thought about it all and called it a day.” Aesha explained on the same show that Jack had asked her to come to London but that he needed to work out dates because he had a wedding to attend. She then saw on his social media that he brought another woman to the event who turned out to be his girlfriend … a girlfriend he had while he was still on the yacht romancing Aesha! After she busted Jack on it, “Next thing I know, I’m blocked off everything and he’s never spoken to me again,” the Kiwi beauty shared.

Jessica More and Rob Westergaard Below Deck Couples Where Are They Now

Rob Westergaard and Jessica More

These two incredibly attractive yachties from season 5 of Below Deck Med ended up in a toxic relationship. Rob quickly told Jess he was in love with her, then began to pull back his affection. The back and forth of passion and coldness wore on the stewardess, leaving her in tears for much of the season. Despite their fights, the pair took a trip to Bali after charter season ended, where it was clear their romance had run its course.

“It didn’t end on the best note, and we’re still not in the best place,” Jess explained during the Bravo After Show  in October 2020. “It just keeps seeming to build, my disappointment for somebody that I really, truly cared about and loved and thought that I was gonna marry and spend the rest of my life with. So, to go from that to just continually finding out things new every single day is something that’s really hard for me and disappointing.”

Elizabeth Frankini and James Hough Below Deck Couples Where Are They Now

Elizabeth Frankini and James Hough

The pair’s chemistry was immediate from the start, and their romance led to an infamous night of passion in one of the guest cabins during season 8 of Below Deck . Usage of the room required permission from superiors, with both getting stern warnings from their bosses. But as the season progressed, second stew Elizabeth’s feelings for deckhand James grew stronger, while his seemed to wane. At one point, she only semi-joked that he should propose to her and they should get married.

James continued to pull away, not even give her any sweet acknowledgement when she celebrated her 30th birthday aboard My Seanna. He caught a break when Elizabeth was fired for too many mistakes on the job and had to leave the yacht. However, the following day, the COVID-19 outbreak caused the final two charters of the season to cancel their trips, ending the season for all the crew who scrambled to get back to their home countries from Antigua before lockdowns began.

The deckhand turned season 7 bosun and the stew had a boatmance during season 6 of Below Deck .  The couple even left My Seanna by walking off  the vessel hand in hand into what could have been a potential land romance. But Laura revealed during the show’s reunion that the two had become “dear friends.”

“I’d love to say I was involved with somebody, but I think my wife is still out there somewhere trying to find me,” Ashton told Bravo before the taping, adding, “She’s just taking her time.” He finally found her in Sarah McAlpine, an interior designer from North Carolina, as he announced their engagement on September 27, 2022.

Chef Ben had previous flirtations and one hookup on prior seasons of  Below Deck  before falling for stew and fellow Brit Emily on season 4. They had an actual romance, complete with going on dates while in port. “I felt very close to him very quickly. He was British and he made me laugh, and I do like an older guy,” Emily later revealed on  Life After Bravo  in May 2020. She added, “It was a real relationship for me. It just happened to have been aired on TV.”

After filming ended, Emily moved in with Ben at his Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home. The pair lived together for more than a year, as Emily left yachting and helped Ben at his various cooking events in the U.S. But Emily’s love of her native London eventually caused the pair to break up. “We just grew apart a bit. I was traveling back here. There’s not a lot for him to come back here for. So, we just grew apart,” she said of their split, adding, “We’re still very close now. He’s been a huge crutch and support through everything. I’ll always love him.” Ben is officially off the market as of May 2023, when he announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend  Kiara Cabral . Next to an  Instagram post  of the couple, he wrote, “After a wonderful four-year relationship with my love Kiara I decided to take the next step and propose. ” “I feel like the luckiest man alive! Thank you to my friends and family for all of your support. I couldn’t have done it without you, and obviously thank you to Kiara for saying yes and making an honest man out of me, I love you,” Ben added.

Jenna MacGillivray and Adam Glick Below Deck Couples Where Are They Now

Charles Sykes/Bravo (2)

Jenna MacGillivray and Adam Glick

The chief stew and chef on season 1 of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  had a passionate romance that cooled for Adam, despite Jenna’s attempt to keep the spark alive by leaving him love notes. By the end of the season, she still held out hope that they would continue their romance after finishing up work on Parsifal III, but Adam thought otherwise. While discussing their post season plans, the cook told her, “I’m gonna get the f—k off this boat, hop in my van, and drive away,” as Jenna began to cry about his view of the future without her in it.

In a May 5, 2020, Instagram post, Jenna seemed to unpack her heartbreak from Adam by writing, “No matter how many times I fall, I get up and get the desire to love again. At times I have absolutely put love and that fairytale above anything else, including myself. I have lost my way, lost what I needed. But I believe we all want and need to be loved, and we need a healthy love that gives equally from both sides.”

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Producers Not Firing Gary King For His Bad Behavior Proves The Show Doesn't Care About Its Cast

The bachelorette's jenn tran reveals surprising dating status after breakup with villain devin strader, 90 day fiancé: the real reason rayne had a meltdown at the chicken shop (is it chidi's fault).

Bravo's Below Deck Sailing Yacht has featured several memorable boatmances across different seasons of the reality series, but the rocky romance between Chief Steward Jenna MacGillivray and Chef Adam Glick in season 1 is considered one of the most forgettable. Despite their best efforts to make their romance work, the couple only succeeded in giving off cringe moments for both fans and crew members. Unlike the fascinating love triangle between crew members Gary King, Colin McRae, and Daisy Kelliher, this boatmance was difficult to watch.

Adam met Jenna when he returned to BDSY as a chef after he had appeared on Below Deck Mediterranean for two seasons. Although it was exciting to see him again, interest dwindled when he began a romance with stew Jenna. For most of BDSY season 1, the duo was constantly seen hugging and kissing in the galley. Jenna and Adam's constant PDA was irritating to fellow crew members, who repeatedly expressed their disapproval of their excessive amount of intimate moments in public. Eventually, their ill-fated relationship fell apart.

Inside Jenna and Adam’s Failed Romance

Second stew Madison Stalker complained she felt excluded whenever she walked in on the couple getting intimate in the communal quarters, and even Captain Glenn Shepard also had to confront Jenna about the couple's frequent PDA. Still, despite their constant romantic gestures, Jenna and Adam also experienced some tense moments during the season. Adam often spoke about the walls he built to keep himself away from intimacy or a natural connection to someone, per Bravo .

Jenna and Adam Reconciled But Later Broke Up

During an episode of BDSY , the couple's relationship appeared strained when Jenna was spotted crying after Adam explained his plans after the season were to get in his van and drive away without her. However, the couple looked to have brought their romance back on track when they departed Parsifal III in Greece together. Afterward, Jenna and Adam rented a van and took a romantic tour around Greece. The couple then drove across the U.S. together, even stopping by Jenna's parents' house in Canada and spending time with Adam's family before celebrating Christmas together.

Sadly, Jenna and Adam's romance didn't last long after that. During the reunion, Adam revealed they had broken up, although they were still in touch. He also noted they were trying to figure things out due to the complexity of their relationship. However, things only got worse for the couple, and they stopped communicating, which included Jenna and Adam unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Despite the disappointment of their failed romance, Jenna and Adam have moved on with their lives, and the two are doing better without each other. Since he departed from Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Adam has continued growing his brand as a chef, while Jenna is engaged to Dave Cartmill. Both are thriving without each other.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Bravo on Monday, October 7 at 9/8c and next day on  Peacock . Catch up on the Bravo app .

Adam will be back to hold things down (sometimes literally) in the galley as the heel of the boat, drama among the crew, and hard-to-please charter guests keep the chef on his toes this season. So it's a good thing Adam was able to have a relaxing yet no less epic time in between Below Deck Med Season 3 and the inaugural season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht .

Chef Adam Glick Returns in Below Deck Sailing Yacht

"Between my time off from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht , I've been able to travel all over the United States. I drove across the country five times. I've just been cooking outdoors over a campfire, really kind of dialing in what makes me happy as a chef," Adam told The Daily Dish while he and chief stew Jenna MacGillivray spoke about the upcoming season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht during an interview in New York City on Monday. "So coming back this year, I feel refreshed, I feel like my food's on point, and I feel like I'm ready to go. It's gonna be a great season."

In case Adam's description of his time on land wasn't awe-inspiring enough, the photos on his Instagram do it justice, showing everything he has been up to since Below Deck Med . As Adam drove and cooked across the country with just a van and his dog Tex , you can see that he took in all the wonders of the great outdoors: beaches , waterfalls , mountains , sand dunes ,  forests , and everything in between.

But after all of that fun and adventure, Adam told The Daily Dish that "it was time" to get back in the galley. "At some point, you need to go socialize a little bit more, maybe challenge yourself a little bit more," Adam explained. "So yeah, of course, when [Captain Glenn Shephard] called up and said, 'Hey, let's go sailing in Greece,' I said, 'F--k yeah, let's do it.'"

So as the only Below Deck veteran, did Adam have any words of wisdom for the Parsifal III crew? "Listen, I had heaps of advice for the rest of the crew," Adam said. "But whether anyone listens to me is a different story."

Jenna confirmed Adam's theory during their interview with The Daily Dish . "I don't listen to anyone," she chimed in. "I don't like advice from anyone. That's maybe a bad thing, but that's my personality. Unless I ask for it, keep it to yourself."

"Some of us had to learn that the hard way," Adam said. "Or I still haven't learned, actually."

That's just a little taste of the chef-chief stew dynamic we can expect from Adam and his new crewmate Jenna this season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . Check out more from Adam's return to the galley, above.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Exes Daisy Kelliher and Gary King Have Explosive Reunion in Season 5 Trailer

Below deck sailing yacht 's daisy kelliher confronts "pr--k" gary king following their failed boatmance in e news' exclusive first look at season five. plus, meet the new yachties..

Below Deck Sailing Yacht 's new season will be anything but smooth sailing.

That's because returning costars Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are anything but friendly after their failed boatmance in E! News' exclusive first look at the Bravo series' fifth season.

Following Daisy, Gary and BDSY alum Colin MacRae 's messy love triangle , Daisy is still reeling from the complicated and dramatic fallout from last season.

"Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight," the newly single Chief Stew says in the trailer. "The breakup did a number on me last year. I felt very broken. But now, I'm coming back in more focused, full of energy and I'm f--king good at my job. And I'm taking back the reigns."

Despite her initial confidence about returning to the Parsifal III , Daisy adds, "It's gonna be a s--t show."

Cut to the Ireland native yelling at Gary, "Guess what? We have a f--king job to do and I'm not f--king carrying this season on my own, you f--king pr--k!"

But luckily for Daisy, the preview teases her quickly moving on with new Deckhand Keith Allen , who tells Gary, "Daisy would make a very good wife. No?"

As for Gary's response, he bursts out laughing at the crewmember's declaration.

However, Daisy feels the same about Keith and tells him, "You're the kind of person I've never met before."

And when it comes to this season's charter guests, the yachties have too much of a good time with one group on shore.

After a night out, Captain Glenn Shephard warns the team, "You guys went out with some guests, I set some ground rules. Two drinks maximum. You knew the rules, you broke the f--king rules, and now you're here getting upset."

Check out the trailer above for a preview of all the drama to come. And keep reading to meet new yachties Chef Cloyce Martin , Chief Engineer Davide Morosi , Stews Diana Cruz and Danni Warren and Deckhand Emma Crouch .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres Monday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m.   on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream next day on Peacock.

Captain Glenn Shephard

Capt. Glenn and his expert crew set sail on Parsifal III to the luxury party capital of the world, Ibiza. While Ibiza is known for its sunny day parties and crystal-clear coast, it’s stormy waters ahead for the crew as they navigate blossoming boatmances, competitive co-workers and tense personal dynamics, all while trying to raise the bar every charter.

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher

After a distracting love triangle last season that took her focus away from work, Daisy is ready to take the reins back in the interior department with a new sense of energy and determination. However, plans for a stress-free charter season are threatened when her stews question her leadership.

First Mate Gary King

On deck, Gary attempts to keep his team motivated as one crew member struggles to learn the ropes.

Chef Cloyce Martin

In the galley, Chef Cloyce charms the crew and guests but at only 22, he may be too inexperienced to meet the demands of the high-maintenance charter guests.

10 Below Deck Chefs Who Were The Villains Of Their Season

Below Deck chefs can go from heroes to villains incredibly quickly. The reality yachting series spotlights the lives of the crews working on superyachts. At the helm of each team is the captain, tasked with running a smooth operation on a superyacht. Franchise favorites include Captain Lee Rosbach and Captain Jason Chambers. The Chief Stew and Bosun lead the interior and exterior departments and are the direct line of contact for the stews and deckhands. If the captain, Chief Stew, and Bosun work in harmony, the charter seasons typically succeed, but not without the chef.

As one of the most important jobs on the superyacht, guests typically base their tips on the success of the culinary experts. It’s a pressure-filled job, and some crew members haven’t been able to withstand the stressors of the role. Throughout the history of the show, there have been plenty of incredible chefs featured, but there are also been many lackluster chefs who leave their seasons feeling bland. Chef Anthony Iracane recently debuted on Below Deck season 11 to great reception, though he couldn’t handle the pressure and was fired. Chefs can be the most beloved crew members, but they can also be the villains.

Chef Ben Robinson

Below deck seasons 1-3, below deck mediterranean seasons 1 & 4.

Ben Robinson is one of the most memorable Below Deck personalities. He served as chef on numerous series, including the first season of the mainstay show and the first spin-off, Below Deck Mediterranean . There’s no doubting Chef Ben’s culinary expertise, though he had a few villainous moments across his multiple stints with the franchise . He had an attitude that rubbed people wrong at times. Chef Ben had an ego that came out in his confessional interviews and felt exacerbated by the cameras. Nonetheless, he’s regarded as the best chef and one of the most entertaining personalities to appear in the series.

Chef Mila Kolomeitseva

Below deck mediterranean season 5.

Chef Mila Kolomeitseva was likely a producer plant to cause chaos on Below Deck Med . She made franchise history as the first female chef to appear on the show but quickly became famous for her terrible performance in the galley. Chef Mila made balent mistakes with her dishes and often shocked Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier with her lack of ability. She notoriously tried to make pancakes with boxed mix, licked steaks on camera, and made a terrible plate of nachos for guests. Captain Sandy Yawn made the right decision to fire her, though her casting in the first place is an anomaly for viewers.

Chef Mathew Shea

Below deck mediterranean season 6.

Chef Matthew Shea was quite the personality on Below Deck Med season 6. He did not get along swimmingly with his co-workers in the slightest. However, Chef Matthew seemingly clashed with Captain Sandy the most. She admitted the chef would have been fired if they hadn’t filmed during COVID-19, and she could have found a justifiable replacement for him. At the reunion, Captain Sandy said she was flabbergasted watching his behavior during the season, and Chef Matthew said she was “ one of the worst captains ” he’d worked with.

Chef Nick Tatlock

Below deck season 11.

Chef Nick Tatlock stepped in as Anthony's replacement in Below Deck season 11 . He had big shoes to fill as the crew grew close to Chef Anthony during the beginning of the charter season. However, once he stepped foot on the St. David, he didn’t mesh well with the rest of the cast. Nick ostracized himself when making weird comments toward Stew Paris Field about her weight. When the stew admitted she loved mayonnaise, he warned her not to consume too much as a warning of her weight. Outside his beef with Paris, he didn't get along great with Chief Stew Fraser Olender, and it’s never good for the chef and Chief Stew to be at odds.

Chef Kevin Dobson

Below deck season 7.

Chef Kevin Dobson would likely say Kate Chastain was the villain of Below Deck season 7, but that’s not the case. The chef and Chief Stew had issues with each other during their time working alongside one another. Instead of taking accountability for his mistakes, Chef Kevin blamed his faults on Kate. He was obsessed with calling out her wrongdoings, and his focus on Kate eventually led to his dismissal. Chef Kevin notoriously forgot to prepare dinner for Captain Lee when he joined the guests for dinner one night . It was a wild moment at the time, but looking back, it’s unfortunate yet comical that he was too busy worrying about the Chief Stew to cook dinner for the captain.

Chef Rachel Hargrove

Below deck seasons 8-10.

Rachel Hargrove was an unhinged fan-favorite Below Deck chef . She’s regarded as one of the best chefs of the franchise, but she’s had some unshining moments throughout her three seasons. During season 8, Eddie Lucas called out her behavior when drinking. This started a feud between the yachties that tainted the charter season. When Chef Rachel got stressed after reading a guest’s preference sheet, she stormed off the boat . Despite the mishap, she realized she was in the wrong, and Captain Lee Rosbach gave her her job back. Chef Rachel became adored by viewers for her unique personality and hilarious confessional moments.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

She returned for three consecutive seasons in a row. During each of her Below Deck appearances, Rachel created memorable reality TV moments while serving guests impeccable food. Bravo hasn't found a chef that compares to Rachel, though they have tried. Chef Rachel should return to Below Deck , but her discourse with the show’s production ahead of season 10’s premiere is likely preventing that. Once she revealed private text messages between herself and a producer after tweeting negatively about Southern Charm star Austen Kroll, her fate with the franchise was sealed.

Chef Tom Checketts

Tom Checketts stepped into Below Deck Med season 5 as Chef Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran’s replacement. At the time, he was dating Bosun Malia White, and it appeared they brought him to highlight their relationship for the show. However, it was apparent that Chef Tom wasn’t prepared for the work ahead of him, and he took out his frustrations on the women of the crew. Tom was erratic, unorganized, and rude to his co-workers, though he finished the charter season without being fired.

Chef Adam Glick

Below deck sailing yacht season 1 & below deck mediterranean seasons 2 & 3.

Chef Adam Glick has appeared in several seasons of the Below Deck franchise, though his most infamous moment occurred during Below Deck Med season 2. When the guests asked for no onion in their food, Adam completely disregarded their preferences on numerous occasions . When Hannah asked him to not include onions in his dishes, he rebelled and did so out of spite for the Chief Stew. Chef Adam even lied to Captain Sandy and told him he wasn’t cooking with the ingredient while he certainly was.

Chef Leon Walker

Below deck season 3.

Leon Walker was praised for his work on Below Deck season 3, but his terrible attitude dragged down his performance on the show. He clashed with Chief Stew Kate often, consistently turning down her support. At times, Chef Leon refused to prepare dishes that were requested of him. However, his breaking point in the franchise was when he started a fire in the galley due to uncleanliness . If Chef Leon was open to criticism, the mistake could have been prevented. Nonetheless, he was fired from his position as chef and hasn’t returned to the show since.

Chef Ryan McKeown

Below deck down under season 1.

Chef Ryan McKeown was the undisputed villain of Below Deck Down Under season 1. Right off the bat, it was clear he would be a difficult crew member to work with. When Aesha attempted to get to know him, he shut her down and complained about the Chief Stew’s involvement in the galley. Chef Ryan was rude to her and the rest of the cast for no reason. His attitude worsened when he was drinking out with the crew. On one occasion, he threatened to fight a man who was making comments about women.

While it was admirable that he stood up for his crew, he shouldn’t have threatened physical violence. Chef Ryan didn’t get along with Aesha in the slightest. He complained about her behind her back with stew Magda Ziomek. When Chef Ryan’s food was critiqued by the guests, he didn’t care in the slightest. Captain Jason encouraged him to improve his work, and the chef argued that he didn’t have to please the captain. After a verbal argument between the captain and chef, plus a lackluster dinner that left the guests disappointed, Chef Ryan was finally fired at the end of season 1.

Oftentimes, the chefs on Below Deck exhibit villainous behavior. Their jobs can be difficult as preparing all the food for guests with specific preferences is quite the chore. The pressure on the chefs sometimes gets to their heads, and they can turn into the villains of the franchise.

The Below Deck franchise is available to stream on Peacock.

Below Deck is a popular reality TV franchise that focuses on a group of crew members as they work on luxurious yachts and cater to their client's needs. After the original series proved to be a success, Bravo developed a handful of spinoff shows including Below Deck Selling Yacht, Below Deck Adventure, Below Deck Down Under, and Below Deck Mediterranean.

10 Below Deck Chefs Who Were The Villains Of Their Season

Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum Adam Glick has a new look that one Below Deck star calls ‘hot’

Adam Glick from Below Deck Med looks unrecognizable.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum Adam Glick has a new look that one Below Deck star has called “hot.”

It’s been a couple of years since fans saw Adam on the hit-yachting franchise.

There’s also his involvement in a love triangle with Malia White and Wes Walton.

After leaving Below Deck Med, Adam helped launch Below Deck Sailing Yacht, but his love life again interfered with his work thanks to his romance with Jenna MacGillivray.

Since Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 ended, Adam has been living a life outside reality television, sporting a much different style.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum Adam Glick has a new look

The Below Deck fan account @belowdeckaboveaverage shared a photo of Adam with a fan earlier this week.

Adam was smiling as he took a picture with the fan as he was promoting his Adventure Chef knife collection. The chef was rocking a beard and blonde locks that were pulled back with some strands hanging down in his face.

Adventure Chef is Adam’s brand that he’s built outside the show as she focuses on cooking in nature.

It seems Adam has had this look for a while, as he was sporting a bun man going back to last fall where he discussed basic needs and living in a cabin.

Another post in July 2021 had Adam in the “thick of it,” showing what his long hair looks like when he doesn’t have it in a man bun.

There’s no question that Adam has that rugged vibe going on, and it suits him well. The chef looks so good, and there’s another Below Deck alum who agrees.

Below Deck star Ashling Lorger calls Adam Glick ‘hot’

The comments section of the @belowdeckaboveaverage Instagram post was filled with comments on Adam’s rugged look.

A familiar face immediately popped up with Below Deck alum Ashling Lorger writing, “S**t he’s hot,” including a fire emoji.

Ashling Lorger comment

As for whether or not Adam is single, that remains to be seen. The chef had two disastrous relationships play out on television, and since then, he’s kept his love life out of the spotlight. Adam has yet to share a photo of a special someone in his life, if he has one, on social media.

Former Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Adam Glick looks quite different than his days on the sailing show and Below Deck Mediterranean. Adam has fully embraced living his life in nature and off the land.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo with early access on Peacock. Below Deck Sailing Yacht is currently on hiatus.
